once you get Jade unlocked after Dundrasil you get Electro-Light and/or you can sail to Insula Orientalis and farm Liquid Metal Slimes I'm hoping to kill this boss and receive no xp from it being too low level
What I hate about hard mode is that your ability to beat bosses is entirely dependent on whether or not your debuffs hit. If your debuffs don't stick, you're fucked. Probably could have beaten this thing earlier, but every fight, sleep just doesn't stick. The hero fucks it up. Erik fucks it up. Supposedly Erik's sleep blade has a 50% chance to sleep? I've watched it not sleep seven times in a row before party wipe.
This boss is similar to the Water Temple. Serena is pretending to be in the Water Temple.

Yeah, this game is very RNG dependant
