What flux are you using
Gracias
Google for: "Hermann Echrdampf" "Regner Dampftechnik" (germany) Envíales mis saludos, los conozco bastante bien a ambos.
Ya he fabricado cuatro quemadores y ninguno funciona.
Schildern Sie Ihr Problem bitte!
What a gauge truck
G- Gauge... (45 mm)
Hello sir price
Go to Roundhouse Engineering UK. Maybe something about 1200-1500 Euro
excellent! I've never built any engine before and I have plans for a 5" gauge loco which I'd like to build at some point in the future so this series really gives a good insight into the process of building an engine!
Thank you! With some bigger lathe and milling machine, i would also build 5" gauge. But not with my Small Equipment. Hope you will be successful! Have Fun! Stay healthy Chris
Hi can you please give me the full plane PDF
Sure, send me youre Email to dreamsteam@gmx.de
The website hosting the plans has since gone down.
Its still arivable... Google for Vapeur polynesie
Great project 👍I'm building one myself now and I watch you videos if I don't understand the drawings,it's a great help. Why did you flange the copper sidewalls in the boiler (on the drawing they are not flanged 3mm copper flat) ?
A flange is recommended in any case. it expands the soldering area and offers better grip. It is also easier to assemble before soldering. Due to the geometry, the soldering point is also pressed together under steam pressure and is therefore even relieved by the high pressure!
please use any other song tahn thisand not for every single vid
"Tahn thisand vid...." Ga ga tucki tucki... kasalla elbuggu bim bim...! There is no Song.... because no one is Singing....
He's alive, folks!
A little bit...
I really like the use of the small nuts/bolts - they make a huge difference. If you don't mind, where did you source the small sockets and spanners ?
Try "Bengs Modellbau" or "Regner Echtdampf"
www.bengs-modellbau.de/Material/Schrauben/
Very well done indeed, Are those M1 and M1.5 nuts and bolts ?

Cooles Video! #steamengine #steam #selfbuild
Great to see you back DreamSteam!
Thanks.... i was so badly out if practice, i had to restart with a beginners set 😂😂😂
@@dreamsteam8272 😂😂you still knocked it out of the park!! Lovely work, thanks for sharing. More please!!
hi Chris nice to see you back👍👍👍👍 i am hoping to make a stirling engine on my micro lathe this winter👍👍👍👍 regards Kev
Sounds great! Im looking forward to it! Thanks for passing by! Stay healthy kev!
Very precise and interesting work as usual. It was so interesting to see how you pumped the water through these tiny boiler. I wonder, does it actually happen that something is put together incorrectly? Or is it easy to put it all in the right places? I guess you got to have a good sense for construction, physics and engineering in general. Nice video cutting work, too. Can't wait for the "ber-months" (September, October, November...), for it seems it's the perfect time for those works and vids. Thanks for sharing.
Oh, nothing is eaten as hot as it is cooked😁😂😂😂. However, I've been out of practice with the hobby and editing videos for almost a year now, so a beginner's project like this was good school again 🤣🤣🤣 The pump bottle is actually for a special valve with which you can refill the kettle with steam when it is in full operation. My funnel was too big, but the hose fit 😅 Thanks for the comment!
Excellent workmanship sir and I was really surprised to you see you making this with mainly hand tools.....A lesson to us all....brilliant
Thanks for your nice Comment! Youre welcome!
Bom trabalho!
I would like a manufacturing drawing Thank you
In the describtion
Just wondering what provision you were planning for a lubricator?
Cylinders are made of PTFE, and no lubrication System in the plans.... maybe i will add a displacement lubricator
Where can I buy this locomotive?
Roundhouse Engineering UK
nice
I quite like filing too especially rounding corners 😀
I was wondering, could you give me that skill now! Thx..
What gauge is the track?
45mm
What type or brand of silver solder did you use?
That depends on the job to be done. I don't have a special brand. The only important thing is if you heat components several times, that you start with a solder that melts at around 700-800 degrees. If you have to heat the component again in a further step, use a solder with a melting point of 500-600 degrees. This way you work back the number of steps so that areas that have already been soldered do not open again.
I also hope that you will continue the steam locomotive and share it with us! Very good work so far! And I'm thinking about starting this machine as well.
Thanks for helping me build my own cracker. I think I'll name him Bob.
When are you continuing your Decauville series? I've done most of it on my own build but I don't know how to put everything together, as it doesn't say in the instructions.
Answers in your other comments..... Cheers ....
Can't open the plan on PC. Says something went wrong.
You need a PDF Reader... like Adobe for free
@@dreamsteam8272 It didn't work because my PC had like 3% battery and was trying to preserve it, so it blocked me from downloading the PDF 🤣
Are the plans avalible in Romanian? I don't know what half of these tools are called in Romanian and I tried to ask if the guys at my local Hornbach knew what I was talking about.
They are only in English
@@dreamsteam8272 Cool. I might just figure them myself.
Also, how do you "imprint" the drawings into the steel sheet? There is no way the iron can push the ink enough so that it goes through straight up steel.
... it is just a Trick for the Video.... just funny....
It's been two years and my Decauville is sitting incomplete in my workshop every since you dropped the playlist. WHEN are you going to continue the series? It has been loads of help for me.
I dont really know.... understand, its my hobby... i do what i want and what i feel to... and in the moment, i do a lot of other stuff. And on the other hand, i have 2 Kids, a wife, a job, 3 houses, and a lot to do.... sorry... but i hope it continues soon.....
@@dreamsteam8272 Oh, shit, I didn't know that. Sorry.
Can you link all the tools and machines used in this playlist? Edit: I speedrunned through most of the parts using CNC.
I dont use cnc.... and i dont gave links for Tools. Most Tools i by in the local Hardware stores
Can you link the kit you built it from?
Its billy from Roundhouse Engineering. I dont have any relation to Theme, so i do not pist any links. You can Google Roundhouse Engineering. It is Based in UK. And billy is a kit for something about 2500 Euro
@@dreamsteam8272 Jesus Christ 2500 euro is more than than double the cost of the locomotive prebuilt. You got scammed, man.
@@Cekkkko21212 Euros.... not British Pounds
@@dreamsteam8272 I've found prices of est. 1100£, equivalent of aproximately 1400€. Still, I wouldn't pay that much for a rather basic in design 0-4-0WT. I've a seen a site, I think it's called "The Train Department". They sell kits and prebuilt Live Steam for rather affordable prices. Recommend checking them out.
Do you have plans for this loco?
Its Billy from Roundhouse Engineering. No plans. Sorry .... Its a kit my first loco kit
Thanks for the info!@@dreamsteam8272
çok başarılı 👍
süper harika
Geiles teil wirklich gute Arbeit 👍.
