Hi. Great videos. I already watched a few and they were very helpful. I have one question: I get the purpose of inst play mode. Basically you can play on top of your pattern without recording anything. However, I'm struggling to see a difference between tr rec and inst rec. Why would you want to use one over the other? You can tap pad on the right in tr rec mode and in inst rec. What is the benefit of using inst rec mode over tr rec mode?

Just one question if you do not mind: You rename the instruments with those yellow tapes. How did you assign each instrument? Why did not use the Roland's instruments or their labels? Sorry but I am newbie in synths. Thank you in advances.

Ich habe jetzt 12 Stunden den Unterschied zwischen kit und pattern gesucht und probiert, gehe ich der Annahme richtig, daß, dass jedes neue pattern mit unterschiedlichen Instrumenten ein hierfür gesondertes kit brauch? Oder gibt es ne Möglichkeit einfach pattern mit verschieden instrumenten zu machen, ich kann auch gerne mal nen video hierzu machen. Ich meine nicht die Variation, das ist logisch

Any idea why my TR8s also changes the beat from 4x4 when selecting a random pattern? Is this because of an update? If so, is there a way around it so I can keep my bass drum 4x4?

WTF! This is crazy. Just got the TR8S and this honestly makes me what to return it. No offense to your video but this is a dig at Roland for not giving us a way to start it as a blank slate. Really crazy!

But it seems to have applied that to other saved patterns. Is it possible to save patterns that use particular kit and instrument configurations? Thanks!
