This is great content for a noob like myself. A lot of other creators start at a higher level of expected knowledge. I recently bought a TR-8S, first synth I've owned. Many years DJ'ing, but live performance is a new step for me. I went through all your tutorials, but this has been my favorite content of yours I've found, so far. I knew the functions were there, but seeing how you put it all together in real time is great! Can't wait to go tinker with my machine now...

Yo just wanted to let you know you can change the reverb and delay send levels by holding instr select button and turning level knob on the respective fx. Little faster than using control select

Jut a workflow tip you can hold copy down and more quickly copy variation A to B, C, D etc without scrolling

Hey man! I love your videos, they are the best TR-8s tutorials I have found on youtube. Thank you for making them. I am wondering if you can help explain something... I downloaded the Kink patterns and kit from the Roland website and there is something in the Kink 1 pattern that is confusing me. The has a swing/shuffle to it (you can hear this clearly on the RS or SD instrument) and I can't figure out where it is coming from. I have the shuffle turned off at 12:00, all of the velocities are at the same, no LFO, no decays, etc. I cannot figure this out and would love some help - I want to apply the same to other patterns to give individual instruments some groove. Thank you!
Hey masond.4941, thank you for your positive feedback, much appreciated. However, I tried to replicate your issue and so far I only can say it could be the Accent or the motion record?! Also, there is actually some little bit of swing to it already... Sounds like it.

Would you like to make a video on how the heck Roland has organized the Patterns? I am always running out of space in my sequences with only 128 steps. I'd like to create an entire song, ya know?
