Love your videos! I'm a proud owner of a TR8s since a couple of weeks now and I'm learning a lot from your tutorials. Good work! Thnx and keep it going!
Great video, thanks! The way I started to understand better how to use motion control, is by seeing it as a layer of effects on top of your track and pattern, that you can switch on or off.
You can also just hold the REC button while recording your motion and let it go off when you are finished....that safes you from forgetting to enable/disable the REC button again and accidently overwrite some before recorded motions...😬👍🏻😉
Thank you for all your videos I would be lost without them. I’m running into a problem with the erase function. What if you cannot locate a step you accidentally recorded a motion record on. The erase motion doesn’t seem to clear in the instrument
I just started using the TR8S a few weeks ago and yes, this channel has been so helpful. I'm not sure if this will help with your question but I found in the Roland reference manuals this shortcut for erasing motion. Cheers! Erase motion data of a specific knob of the variation selected for playback. HOLD MOTION [ON] + Knob W
Hi, sorry for the late reply. As already mentioned you can erase every single knop with HOLD MOTION [ON] + Knob. However, you have to locate the step a little bit. Maybe use the mute function to isolate the instrument first and then work through your steps.
How can I delete the recording for just one Instrument? If i record a wrong thing, than I always have to erase ALL my motion recordings... That sucks 💩
