Making $600 in 5 Hours Flipping a Honda CRF250x
If you have seen this video before it's because I had to fix some audio issues :)
I picked this 2004 CRF250X up for $1000 after it had been sitting in pieces in the project phase for a while. The seller did me a bunch of favors by having it 80% done with a fresh top end. Some simple fixes and maintenance and this bike was ready to move. Unfortunately didn't tear into this one too much as I have some new projects on the way!

How I Restore Dirt Bike Plastics - 3 Easy Steps

Grinding off and welding a new quarter panel and taillight bucket onto the car was definitely intimidating, but got it done. Yo man, what did you do to get that flywheel cover off? Trying to figure mine out right now. Also, any pointers on setting the points (no pun intended). New to this type of ignition system and replaced the points, but got no idea if it's right.

    • @dylantolo
      @dylantolo 10 дней назад

      On a lot of these old bikes you will need to use an impact screwdriver (the type you hit with a hammer, not the drill kind) to break free the old flathead or philips heads. As far as the points, just make sure the contacts are clean (where they separate at 9:42) and that the timing is oriented the right way (9:20) and it should be good to go if the carb is clean and you have verified spark.

    Very impressive. I'm starting to see a wave of people buy older cars and repair body kits better than some shops. THIS IS THE WAY. Keep up the great work.

      I've done some work before, but this was definitely the most to a single car, I figure the more I do it the better it gets! Hoping to get a real paint and body setup within the next year or two.

      It’s very impressive. As a guy who lives in nyc and can only get away with doing partial work on my daily car, I love living vicariously through you guys who can do the work, but also make it entertaining.

      @NYslicknessGaming always open to feedback too, still trying to find the best ways to film and edit! Hopefully going to upgrade cameras soon as well.

    The only thing I worry about was overspray to the interior but great work my guy.

      I did get some in the interior but it cleaned up nicely, most of it was dry spray, next time will definitely mask off better!
