And rebuild. I love my 88.5 beater mostly stock. 235/75/15 Mt thunderer trak. 50 miles on them. 40 is in dirt. Toy 3k carb new installed greasable 2" shackles. New Sony andsony kick speakers. In front new lifetime starter. And kept my core . Stock carb still back brown seat out of 94 Wrangler and new brown front seat covers Dickies brown . 5 al. 5 star Mag wheels. And buddy gave me his fox or fx shocks of his new ranger 4cl. 4wd turbo larriet XLT . Something nice package. And pretty damn fast. Told him we needed pur his old one black half back doors sane thing one notch down 2022 his grey one loaded 2023 4 full doors. Out level lift hew shocks and them only had 23k if that 21k wouldn't lot . Like put motor in ssmmy or old turbo coupe thunder chickens 83. 84 model 2300 . Amigo I have one 1996 base but my engine start knocking and I did a full rebuild and I put a 272 Delta cam regrind and aluminum crank pulley header etc.But I made it Honda intake manifold and distributor po8 EMC and I build a monster peppy run real nice he is on 15 x10 dp dish wheels with 31 x10.5 15 tires custom made flares look bulky like a old school style renegade no lift at all he sounds like old school style muscle car nothing fancy old school but by me make it have Honda really wake him up to another level cheap to build maintenance and gd on gas .My have nice frame I always painted with rust ilium inside out side love my Geo tracker a lots of fun and fast gd for every environment highway city country roads trails etc I let my auto to know deal with clutch crap in cities etc plus I always try to maintenance my transmission in summer I put a transmission cooler radiator but on winter I disconnected but the Geo tracker 16 valves are real gd compared to this knew jeeps jjjj 60 80 thousands dollars jjjj crazy

You know what would really be kick-ass?........ A wheel base extension from 80 inches to about 104 inches. That would be a winner! That would mean cutting the body and adding in 24 inches of sheetmetal

Spring under actually handles Moab utah better....no hopping on the inclines. My ZUK build experience started way back in 1990.....spring under and shackle in the front is a winner.

those big heavy tires are axle killers if I was in that build I'll stick with reg 31s or narrow 33s

I'm a Canadian who moved to Australia 5 months ago, in a week or two I'm picking up a SJ51T Ute, a SJ70 Targa top Sierra 1.3 and a '93 Vitara SWB. All need some love, but I'm getting them for around $4k AUD which is like less than $2800 USD. Amazing 3-for.

Gd jop amigo we put 22re Toyota engine on them and some guys put a eBay turbo kit and fly the hills like hell on wheels jjjjj 😁 But for the streets Honda k20 d16 k24 b16 Mazda 13b rotary engine mostly all turbo kit from eBay jjj and junkyards parts poor people from low income and inmates from prisons jjjj 😁 we out here build them up to hustle the streets with hell cats Corvette muscle cars and anything else who want to play the streets and old small civics as well CRX all motor on carb or fuel injector VTEC with turbo some or all carb .But Yess we all have fun at knight from seniors to young guys to females from us the Ricans to anyone else we all have fun together out here like brothers with in the bloodlines DNA .Colors don't matter to us only friendship and started up and lighted up let go and play knight hawks jjj CCR born in the byouooooo .We bit the crap of the big money people out here with old civics samurai Geo tracker old Toyotas and believe we make them wrong with engine combos from junkyards parts .But for the hills the best set up is the 22re Toyota engine turbo on samurai and Geo tracker man man they hustle the mud snow hills strong bulls better than V8 and a lot cheaper to build.gd job amigo

I appreciate that you even took the time to lay out your stitch weld locations on that sheet metal top. I see some guys totally nail the fab and fit then get uneven welds and it bugs the crap outa me.

Alot of us Tracker guys have been talking lately about a kit to add samurai axles to our rigs. Hopefully you decide to produce something. Let me know if you need someone to test out your kit.

Did you have throttle open during the compression test? You can put some marvel mystery oil in cylinders and let it soak a few days. Might bring the rings back around.

Leaf springs, theres acouple off the shelf coil spring link kits already. I never seen an shelf leaf spring conversion kit yet a sidekick / tracker

Leaf springs there always more impressive when they can do what a coil can and just more simple and cost effective
