Hi Matthew, Sorry to bug you here, I would love to hear your expert Subaru insight for a used Forester that I am looking at. If there is a better place to reach out to you for this chat, please let me know. Here's the summary of the Forester for sale: - 2010 Subaru forester 2.5XT Limited Sport Utility 4D - Mileage: 128k miles - 2 owners - Most records kept - No Oil/Fluid Leaking - Consumed only Premium Gas - Exterior damage from hail (resulted in total loss, salvage title) - New Tires with 1k miles - Timing Belt replaced at 98k miles - Valve Gaskets replaced at 118k miles - Head Gaskets not replaced (seller shared Turbo model does not have HG issues) This is all the info I've gathered through text only. I'd love to hear your thoughts and any stand out items I should look out for (or ask) when I inspect + test drive the car. Thank you for taking the time to read this. - Blake

If it automatic change fluid and filter if it spin on external filter and if it don’t have it just change fluid and not flush and be prepared for wheelbearing but i recommend none turbo for reliability and turbo for fun 🙂

Thats totally unnecessary hoing up by 10 lbft incriments. Theres a torque process where you torque down to like 30 then loosen all the bolts then torque to final torque and the muddle 2 bolts get a little more

Good series. One question: would you recommend/consider leaving the intake off until the torque converter bolts are installed? Seems like you'd have better access and less chance to drop one of those 4 bolts without that piece in the way. Of course, cover up the ports with rags or whatever to prevent parts and debris from falling in during engine install.
