Great as they are Myst and Grim Fandango aren’t Point and click adventures. Also where are Broken Sword and Day of the Tentacle?
What game is the one that appears at 0:08, just behind the title for the video?
Cool that you had Gemini Rue at nr. 2. I enjoyed the game a lot, but felt like the second half dropped in quality. Still a cool and atmospheric game that all lovers of the genre should play. I think the developers of Discoy Elysium draw some inspiration from it.
watched this expecting Broken Sword to feature.............. what?!?.... how is it not there!
Janeway’s priorities were sometimes not in the interests of the crew. She seemed too fixated with mission logs, exploration, crew performance etc. The focus was getting back to the Alpha Quadrant - at any cost.
Neelix was dedicated the ship is seconds away from disintegrating and he is working the mess hall.
Enterprise -E could do anything it was tasked to do just simply pick a mission for it to do , Diplomacy , trade , medical , defence , research , to keep any ship in good or reasonable condition it is best if it used , it doesn't have to be front line facing the Borg .
What about neverhood
i think his body is kept there because it was found on Veridian III and removed just like the saucer section because of the Prime Directive. Its probably just in cold storage. Technically Star Trek History records his death.
This is my favorite Enterprise as well. The Sovereign Class is the bees knees! It's still unclear of the Enterprise E's fate. It's hinted that Worf did something to the ship, but Worf claims it is not his fault. 🤷🤷
lol, mostly are pixelated game, and Syberia its not there...
The best for me is "12 minutes" and "there is no game wrong dimension"
I was honestly expecting it to be the Picard after the discussion about names being important
I hate these single narrative single and opinionated shows. You don't know what really happened to the Enterprise E
Whatever happened to her, it wasn't Worf's fault.
I think those logic puzzle games like myst and 7th guest should have their own genre, cant stand them compared to inventory based point n click advemtures
How the heck did you forget Broken Sword - The Shadow of the Templars? Easily the best of them all!
Now after season 3 I heard it was damaged beyond compare from the borg virus that made multiple ships including the E shoot at eahother.
The writer of this Voyager episode tried as hard as he could to jerk tears out of the viewers but never heard of subtlety.
It was depressing but seeing 7 of 9 cry when her drone companion sacrificed his life for her was probably even more difficult to watch.
No one mentions legend of kyrandia 🤔
So interesting, Indiana Jones and the fate of Atlantis is the first pointing click adventure game I remember really getting into and always held it in high regard. It’s very cool to see that It’s number one on this list. I was just hoping it would make the list, I was not expecting it to be number one. I love that game so much and have beaten it in all three ways that you can.
This is the scariest episode in all of Star Trek history. It's even more disturbing to see the crew keep hope alive and keep trying to survive despite the hopeless inevitable outcome. Hope in the face of hopelessness, till the very end. It makes you realize that sometimes you lose. Despite giving it your all. The voice of the disintegrating Voyager Computer is genuinely frightening because it's an auditory representation of entropy increasing towards total loss. The loss of the time capsule makes this more realistic, reminding us that many people have died in vain without any record of their history or struggles. Most people can't deal with it. You have to deal with it, it might help you to avoid a loss.

Cry me a river episode.
I agree with #1. And your #3 would make my top 5, maybe even #3. The rest of your list would not make any list of mine. #2 is Day Of The Tentacle. There are so many ahead of what you listed. Full Throttle, The Dig, Flight Of The Amazon Queen, to name but a few.
Tbh, this list is one of the best ive ever seen. And I think all games here were better rated after the release than The Dig, Flight of the Amazon Queen or even Full Throttle. Gabriel Knight and Grim Fandango are considered in the best adventure game of all time discussions. Myst was the best selling game ever until The Sims has appeared, Machinarium and Gemini Rue are modern classics, and Blade Runner was one of the best and most original adventure games of the second half of 90s. Well, Day of the Tentacle is, of course, also mentioned by many as one of the best or even the best adventure game of all time, but i dont think other games you mentioned are worth it more than games from this list.
@@vicek83 I just don't like how ugly Grim Fandango is. And Gabriel Night, like the Broken Sword series, is just boring. Same goes for Machinarium and Gemini Rue. Myst is beautiful, but the world feels dead. Riven is a little better. I never played Blade Runner so I can't speak to it. I don' give a rat's ass what sold well or what the ratings say. I judge for myself by if the game is fun or not. If you like others to do your thinking for you, you go right ahead. There are plenty of games I find much more enjoyable than those on this list. Like The Book Of Unwritten Tales 1 & 2 plus The Critter Chronicles, The whispered World, the Discworld series, Gibbous, Deponia, Bear With Me, Nelly Cootalot etc.
@@airbrushdungeon I can agree with the choice of The Whispered World and The Book of Unwritten Tales 1. The humor in Deponia just irritated me, and The Book of Unwritten Tales 2 was a bit boring to me. If this were my list of favorite adventures - I would add Sanitarium and The Longest Journey.
@@vicek83 While you're irritated by humor, I require it.
@@vicek83 Toonstruck / Grim Fandango / Sanitarium / Discworld / Indiana Jones
I was expecting that when I was first watching. I was actually very let down when they showed it.
If they were capable of copying a pattern, I hate to say this but another possibility existed. I guess it wasn't thought of, but the duplicate Seven of Nine would possibly have the necessary components to send out a signal to perhaps summon a Borg ship. And as fast as they are, it shouldn't have been long to reach them. A Borg ship finds them (hopefully a cube as they have a massive drone population) and the mimetic beings only need to be "assimilated". After that, it's only a matter of duplicating their DNA to recreate themselves and exploit the Borg''s technology to not only stabilize themselves, but perhaps make their bodies permanent though the Borg nanoprobes as they constantly repair a drone.
Possibly, but we'd have to assume the Borg would assimilate them. If the Borg were able to tell the silver goo wasn't sentient, they may say forget it. Also, Seven did mention they tried the nanoprobes.
Not even close.
A remarkable, philosophical episode with the courage of not succumbing into a happy ending.
Syberia ?
My favorites also include the Syberia games, Broken Sword, and Beneath a Steel Sky...but my top place for the best point-and-click adventure game I've ever played has to be The Longest Journey. I haven't played Dreamfall, the sequel, though. I'm glad he mentioned Blade Runner. I loved playing that game.
Yep. your list is pretty close to mine. I would include The Dig. BTW the sequels to The Longest Journey are worth playing...
Honestly I wish they'd kept the name Titan. It feels like the Enterprise has had it's day now. And from lower decks and Picard season 3 the name Titan felt just as important as the Enterprise.
I would have liked a throwaway line a while later, with Tom and Harry discussing trading with some aliens and that the aliens having sworn they'd met Voyager several months prior.
this was such a Tragic episode😭😭😭😭😭
No, not my list.
Every Starship Enterprise was 'The Best' that the Federation had to offer. And I'm mixed on the re-christening for that reason and the fact that it Takes away from the Starship Titian-A...it had just saved the Federation and most of the Alpha & Beta Quadrants. This is almost a slap in the face to that ship and crew. To have re-named Titan 'Picard' would have been alright with fans, I think...or a similar ship being named Picard. But...as you said, it was fan service and I understand Terry's reasoning for doing this, I just Disagree.
Help find a game? Its like a Gemine rue grafics, but in the game we have to investigate some crimes, the caracters is a woman and she have some kind a power, habilites on your blood called "blue" or something like that, this powers helps her find clues on the crime scene, and the bodys! I dont remenber the nameeee! Pls Heeelp! I wanna play one more time! Thanks
Did you find?
@@FilipeIria87 not yet :(
I think the game you are looking for is called 'whispers of a machine'. Hope this helps.
@@soundwarehouse9524thanks! It's the same one! Helps a lot!
How can I emulate these?
why? All of them are on steam.
Enterprise F was a far superior design, they should have found a way to repair it. This renamed Enterprise G is a significant downgrade.
Thimbleweed Park should have been on the list.
I don't know if we'll see Kirk again, played by William Shatner, but I do think this easter egg is intended to show us that he's still alive.
Most pointless and depressing episode
Disagree, I love it
'PromoSM'
The federation is getting Borgish.
"A barren wasteland populated by primates"? Sounds like a ripoff of Planet of the Apes to me....😊
Thank God they did not go along with Roddenberry's idea for Star Trek 2. It would have sunk the franchise forever!
I would have mentioned Broken Sword, Day of the Tentacle, Beneath a Steel Sky and Riven wich is far superior than Myst...
The Klingons did what to make Earth a barren wasteland, to stop God from creating humans?
While Bennett had the idea of bringing back Khan, Meyer wrote the story and the screenplay as well as directing
The funny thing is that the basic plot was sort of used in Red Dwarf, but they had Kennedy assassinate his past self to fix the timeline!
