    Thank you! I just started my journey and have a lot to learn. These detailed videos surely come in handy! If I may: The amount of detail is almost overwhelming: I have trouble watching the video/slowmo/stills while listening to the narration while reading the on screen text while simultaneously paying attention to any green lines being drawn. The varying audio quality adds to the distraction. Maybe a clip-on mic that is used both on the track and for the voice-overs could remedy that?

    How about a video on how to jump a gap jump with a short (bike length), or so transition, with a mellow degree angle, and having to cover a good distance to clear the gap. I mostly rely on speed, but would like to slow it down a bit with proper technique and still clear the gap. Do you need to get back more, counter weight more, since it’s not a steep jump, and really pop the j-hop more explosive in that instance?

      @@jernejrabzelj1200 sounds like maybe not the best jump or it’s a Bmx jump your using a full squish on. The answer is just how fast you transition through these body positions, the transition on short steep jumps is just much tighter so things happen a lot faster

    • @sdtrailrider8070
      @sdtrailrider8070 6 дней назад

      @@Theshredacademy The thing is, when a beginning jumper approaches a lip fear will cause them to squat down and move back. And that can cause them to get bucked. So the stand up thing can really help in that regard. It's not as advanced and technical as what you show of course. Having taken a lot of in person coaching, I can tell you that having more than one coaching cue, or movement change in your head at one time is really hard. Good videos though. Shred on!

      @@mrcookiemonster7805 you don’t but the key motions are the same. Focusing on the jhop is still the best option. And your hard tail has the advantage of transferring its energy through the lip 100% better. Also to this point if you look at even the dual suspension dirt jumpers, the idea is to pump the shock up to very solid and just absorb big landings. If I had a hard tail I’d make you guys a video. But my dj would do actual 29 inch hardtails any justice

      I'm sorry but you HAVE to load throughout the transition to the lip. If you load half way through the transition and not up to the lip, you will get bucked.
