I've enjoyed your videos on jumping. My interpretation of the "stand up to the jump" video procedure is really that your body (torso/upper half) is nearly perpendicular to sea-level on the upswing of the lip and doing that should actually prevent nose-heavy travel. I can understand taking it literally and causing issues but that famous video simplifies an aspect that I see all riders doing. Truly leaning back (reversing beyond perpendicular or normal to sea-level) is really an advanced pop/bunny hop jump which is tough for beginners.

I dont understand modern builders with the so called tables with with a raised at the end forced jumps. no problem for the real short jumper because he doesn't case it and no problem for the good jumper because he clears it . problem is for the the guy that was in between because he can't quit make it , like the rider in you video did ..they cased it

Yeah it can be a struggle to make to jumps perfect for that in between rider. But when you do see it it’s usually to help keep elevation from dropping faster and to give more landing length. Love the input man. Thanks
