That's my local park. Maybe I'll catch Dusty there one of these days

This is the part I struggle with and I'm starting to wonder if my riser bars are making this stand-up move sketchy. Will practice more.

How hard should I be pulling back on the bars in the explosion? My bike feels like it weighs 500 pounds, and I have to pull really hard and still can't get my body quite vertical. I think I must be doing it wrong.

Much better today. I'll post my experience in case anyone is having the same problem as me. I was consistently getting a good 15 inches in part 1, but in part 2, if I was upright, my arms were straight, and if I got the bars close to my body, I was hunched over. My bike just felt too heavy to get the bars up while upright. Dusty starts his explosion with his front wheel just a few inches off the ground, so I felt like a 15 inch lift was plenty (and it's entirely possible that the lift was much smaller when I combined steps). Things didn't start to work until I got my butt a little lower on the lift and then popped the wheel a little harder. My form on the video for step 1 looked perfect, but getting my butt a little lower made a huge difference. When I did that, I no longer felt like my bike weighed twice as much as me (although a solid pull is still required). The times when I got the front wheel really high with my body straight and weight centered over the BB, it felt like the wheel would come up, and then I'd just snatch it while it was weightless. Don't know if this will help anyone, but visualizing my butt getting lower followed by snatching the bars helped a lot.
I did loop out once, and it took another 20 attempts to mentally get back to where I was
