DC does not require thicker cables. High amperage requires thicker cables. AC in Britain is distributed at 230 Volts, 55 Hz. Modern EVs charge at between 500 and 800 Volts DC so DC only chargers can get by with smaller cables. Current home chargers have thick cables because they currently charge with AC. A side note. For a given AC or DC voltage, cables carrying AC are more resistive because of something called skin effect where alternating current is not actually uniformly distributed within the cable cross section as is the case with DC voltage.

I've got the same issue after plugging into my first MER charger the other week and now won't charge AC on another MER or works Pod point and Tesco so having to charge on DC once a week, thinking of unplugging the 12v battery which is new to see it this helps before going to dealer Wednesday next week? - anyone get this working without a dealer visit?

During most of these iMac SSD and/or CPU upgrades, it not mentioned about replacing the clock battery while access is available during the motherboard removal. It's only a $5 or less cost for a CR2032 battery and they are normally only a 5 year shelf life on your motherboard, so replace it while you have access to it!

It would be fun to buy a top end i7-8700 32gb 1tb vega 20 21.5" iMac for $800 and then upgrade the specs to 110%. An i9-9900, 64GB of RAM, theoretically 24TB of storage with an 8TB NVMe and a 16TB 2.5" SSD. Everything is relatively cheap besides the storage. That would cost $3000 alone

I have a question regarding the RAM as in the whole internet O found that iMac late 2015 can hold max 4x8Gb (32Gb) but in this video and comments I see 4x16Gb (64Gb) that is amazing. Can you confirm? I can’t find exactly same as you got in Amazon. Will just 16gb sodimm 1866 speed be enough? Any of them? Thank you for your help.

This is absurd! Nissan has great cars but apparently TERRIBLE software engineers and UX designers. I've been to a Nissan dealership just last week and the seller didn't even know there is an app, Then she went talk to her manager and the guy said the app isnt compatible with the Leaf 😅 I've been looking for a while know and yours is literally the first and only video I found abut this app.

If you put the logic board in between two tables and have the CPU in a gap between the tables you can then screw the it in from underneath without turning the board over. This would eliminate the problem you had. André

I've just installed my 2nd 522GWand confess I try and avoid todays technology where I can, bewildering. However, I have had two 'incidents' in 2 years that seem similar? The recent incident was last week, just days after the installation, by Halfords, I asked that the camera be powered on 24/7. I was parked in a public car park, sitting in the car, and a young lad who later confessed to be rubbish at parking hit my car as he tried to swing into the adjacent space nose first. My issue is that the recordings on the SD card stopped at 13:54 and restarted at 14:26 give or take a minute or 2. This of course covered the period of the impact. In fact I would say that 13:54 was the moment of the impact. Now, what am I missing ? where is the missing footage of the impact? Can anyone throw any light on the above?

Bit late to the game but I recently got a leaf 2nd hand and I cannot set this app up, just gets stuck on the connecting screen forever on the ownership check. Full signal and everything.

I bought a used 2018 and gave up on the app after playing around with switching the car on and off for a couple of hours. I just use the controls in the car instead. Note that there is no app support for cars older than 2017.

I've had ALL these issues with this dashcam in the last week, since it was dealer-fitted to a new car a week ago... SD card 'error' (replaced, no change), camera freezing at start up/random times (no access to menus)! Android app won't find/connect to dashcam and worst of all - rear camera 'not fitted' (it is!) Dread going back to dealer and waiting hours to get it looked at/fixed...

I did a similar thing to my iMac just today. I had watched your video like a year or two ago when I first planned doing this. Upgraded my 21" from an i5 to i7. I also forgot about the gpu chips being lower lol. Removed the heatsink and cleaned it up again and put on some pads. I just left the cpu attached to the heatsink for that. Luckily it all worked out just fine! My iMac is rocking now and for quite cheap too! This computer is a tough job but I haven't broke it yet lol. So far I've changed the ssd to a 1tb, added a 2tb sata ssd, 32gb ram and now an i7 8700. And my screen is held on with electrical tape cause my double stick ain't holding lol. But good nough!

The NVMe adapter I got had a layer of tape on it. But it’s not needed because my Mac is a Mac mini 2014, it’s very spacious for an NVMe drive, and even put a heat sink on the drive.

be VERY careful about the wire routing through the speaker, I didn't see it and destroyed the power button... still waiting on a replacement power button to arrive although I have very little expectation that it will run afterwards 😞

Here’s the terrible thing, it’s better by far than a scooter or a Twizy. If you could guarantee it wouldn’t end up on a motorway, it’s be absolutely fine. I wonder what it does to insurance. It’s weird, it seems insurance companies don’t believe zero stars will affect their payouts? ! My daughter’s costed insurance for this, it seems no worse than any other electric car. speed on this WD Black looks to be the same as OWC Aura X2, any other drives that would be better than OWC? What's the best out there? I'm overhauling a 21.5" 2019 iMac with a Vega 20, going to make it a i9 cpu 64GB 2666Mhz, 2TB or 4TB nvme SSD once I figure out what nvme to get. Hi mate, ever encountered wherein the two usb c thunderbolt ports stopped working after reassembling? The System Report recognizes both usb c ports but they suddenly cannot detect connected peripherals or hard drives.

If you had been patient then your camera serial number would have appeared in white box . Usually have to wait up to 2 mins like it advised!

How about an update to say how you rectified this problem?
