    You mention that you pulled and tossed the air box and associated emissions crap and went the pod filter route. Did you rejet? What size jets? What brand and size pod filters?

    Did you have to change your top trees to change bars. I know on my 82 the bars slip in the top tree and are 2 piece. So wondering how you did it. Thank you

      Tom Shade Correction... The 83 nighthawk was one of the ugliest bikes ever made. I got it cheap and made something I was proud of. I have zero regrets. Fuck off troll.

    • @dannykyle738
      @dannykyle738 6 лет назад

      None of these mods are gonna make the bike run or ride worse other than making it a hard tail which would just take getting used too. Nice bike. I'm getting ready to Bob out my '84.

    hey buddy, just wanted to say thanks for the inspiration, just bought another hawk(currently ride a custom 650) an 84 750 but found sand in the cylinders. I almost gave up on it right then, but when you're right you're right. if you build a bike you don't give up, you just fix it! hope you get her running hard again! thanks!
