We tried growing potatoes in BUCKETS and this is what happened.
In this video, we are harvesting potatoes that we planted in buckets a few months ago. Did they turn out OK? Watch the video and find out if it was a success or failure.

A Beautiful Path GOD has laid under your feet..💜 just skipping on the sidewalk of your Life with your Wonderful Family and Friends , Helping People and Enjoying Everything 💜💕❤️
Perfect.
Something was amiss when you used Joey for fame and fortune.
That first potato that you showed us with rot on it looked like it could have been the seed potato that you grew the plant from.
There is so much content on RUclips on how to “grow” asparagus, but very little content on people actually harvesting and the results that people have! Thank you very much for the share
I’m very excited with asparagus, I have multiple cultivars from crowns and seedlings in raised bed so seeing footage like this about real peoples results is very exciting to me, thank you very much again for your share
I’m so glad it was helpful! Harvesting asparagus is so fun! One of my favorite things to grow
Love the way these ppl live. No electricity, cars or electron😮 wait!
Haha this is so ME! Our trellises Are already taken so anything that needs trellising I use whatever we have! Long dead sunflower branches, sticks etc
🙌 not everything has to be bought for it to work
Goes just as fast with the $13 36V battery upgrade kit
It is quicker to just use a flashlight and a pair of super sharp, pointed, nippy scissors instead of hand picking them off the plants.
Now pick the broken plastic from the grass. Stupid thing to put your child to do.
Rory God has given u such a vision.u and beautiful Indy. And the angel that watches over you and your family.
So The TSC cap wasn’t quite right. I looked into it and know why. Nice subtle hint.
Such beautiful property!
This Is such good info for newbies because I know they freak out seeing all that dead foliage.
I fully believe that!
Cool video! I’m sure I’ll be modifying the quad once I buy it down the road. My question to you is do you know the difference between the two different 24 V razor quads? $450.01 $750. They both seem to hold 120 pounds and go 8 miles an hour except one looks like it might be 3 inches longer and maybe an inch or two wider.
Yummy
Oh my god then you eat them eggs from the chickens 😮
Ah what a beautiful idyllic life. thanks for the video 🙏👍🏼🙏
Beautiful farm
Beautiful
Beautiful!!
😂 to me thats too complicated. I would just get a cattle traff and put some holes in it. But thats just me.
That’s a great option as well! We actually did that a few years ago and still use them 🙌
The results hardly seem worth all the work 😂 great teaching moment though, way to go!
Tried the beer trap! Ended up falling in myself 🍺 😭
What a snazzy chicken coop!!
Does anyone have a tip to keep green beans until I get a canned full? I’m not getting enough to run a cooker and would love to save them.
If I’m canning them, I just put them in my fridge drawer in a zip lock bag until I have enough to can
Aww their butts
For another great garden video and thanks for sharing how you’ve turned this once neglected area into a beautiful garden again thanks so much my dear friend for sharing all the beautiful beautiful garden. Space you shared with us today. It was just wonderful. Love the sunflowers.
So glad you enjoyed it! We’ve had so much fun transforming the space 😀
I think trap plants are good to grow. Wither they are domestic or wild. If you find a plant the "pest" like best, grow them just to keep the pests away from those you want to harvest from.
I'm in N. MS and last yr I grew Clemson Spineless and Burmese Okra. The Burmese WAY out performed the Clemson. I saved the seeds from the Burmese and planted those this yr. They are already producing and are only 1 ft tall. The Burmese can get a lot longer before they get tough and woody and they branch off, instead of just getting super tall. I also love fried okra but I found a really good okra and tomatoes recipe that is to die for on " how to feed a loon". He shares a trick to reduce the "slime" too. I just subscribed to your channel since we are in a very similar growing climate...I've only been gardening for about 3 yrs. I'm sure you can teach me a lot. I really enjoyed the garden tour today.
Oh I’ve never heard of Burmese! It sounds wonderful 🙌 thanks for the recommendation 😀
Great video!
When is little missy going to make her own video?
It's fun when you leave some of the bloopers in. :) I'm happy your garden is doing better than you thought it would. I may just try that hedge idea.
Real life 😀🙌 and thanks for being excited with us about the garden! It’s been fun to see it come together and grow
Who beheaded the chickens
Part 2 was never released due to us moving, BUT, the Sluggo Plus worked beautifully and we will provide an update at the new house if we need to use it. Thanks for watching!!
Did you give her a new job since her chickens are gone?
Gkdjldkbf❤❤❤❤
How long can they stay in the freezer?
A long time. Takes us almost a year to eat all of them and then we do it all over again 😎
Thanks for sharing! I’ll be sure to give this a try next time I plant my tomatoes. I really enjoyed the cat antics as well! 😅
So proud of you guys ❤
Great job!
I’ve seen this tractors before, but I can’t remember the name of them.
There’s a couple different brands, ours is a small builder out of Indiana…I think? Haha
@@FaithfulFarmstead I like it, I’ll have to look into it since I can sell our pasture poultry now I need to able to raise more and move them easier. Great job on the birds y’all!
AlumaCoops are another brand - which I would prefer over these, but we found these used on marketplace for an incredible price.
@@FaithfulFarmstead heck yea, market place is where it’s at!
Awesome job. Always great when the family is all involved.
Thanks!
Last year was my first year also. Takes some getting used to but smooths out in the end.
Thanks for watching!
I ordered a fast scooter controller and it started working and then 20 minutes later it stopped working
Bummer! I would disconnect it, hook up the old controller, and make sure it’s not the motor that burned out. Also, I would recommend replacing the throttle as well. The stock ones are junk. Good luck!
Aww
Was looking for y’all at the festival but haven’t run across you yet…. We’ll keep looking. 😀
Next time! We also had people we never saw this year. It definitely was spread wider and had more people this year. It’s fun to see it grow each year
@@FaithfulFarmstead - It was nice... Our BNB was almost within walking distance. We had a great time and learned some valuable info. The highlight for me was listening to Rory on Saturday morning and chatting with Marty Rainey for a bit. Lots of great vendors!
More like this, please.
I use some little surgical scissors, so I don't touch them.
JESUS is King
Amen 🙏🏽
