We are the Millers and we come from a long line of Amish descendants. Both of our parents grew up Amish, but later left and decided it wasn't the lifestyle for them. It took only one generation removed from this lifestyle to lose so much of what our ancestors thought of as "normal." Our goal is to help people grow their own food and become more self sufficient. We recently bought a 6 acre Farmstead and we are so excited to share this journey with you! Please subscribe to see how we turn this piece of abandoned land into a thriving homestead!

That first potato that you showed us with rot on it looked like it could have been the seed potato that you grew the plant from.

Most potatoes grow in one layer.
Only the long season potatoes grow up and down the stem.
Indeterminate varieties are usually the long season growers.
Early or new potatoes are typically determinant and grows in a single layer.
