My problem is that they need to make a precision variant for all the revolver handguns as they went all out on the semi autos and the most picked guns. Pax should get one as well, and regular conversion pistol too, would be nice to have a medium LE Matt purely because having more stability is epic and that weapon would be a great back-up for shotguns for the shotgun shell pool. As far as the scottfield as a whole goes the gun is good as a starter gun and holds a consistancy expecially as a back-up for those who use the Springfield for there starter gun choice, it also backs up the other medium guns with ammunition well as well as holds a good shot accuracy for those who like to use it more as a follow up gun. Getting the advantages of the P varriant are kinda weird, so the P varriant got more ammo pool making it a good back up and ammo packing choice, it also has better stability then the scotfield rapid fire, and due to the "Longer Barrel" the scotfield P has better distance for bullet travel for that RoF different (I think its 2 bullets short). Meaning for only a little increase in cost (I think its 15$) you can have a more accurate Scotfield rapid fire, nearly the same firing speed, and medium damage carries better out to range then long ammo meaning ironically the damn gun actually will meet with long ammo at specific ranges (as depressing as that is). I personally think the Pax should have gotten a P varriant or a carbine varraint, instead Trueshot is cool, but its not something I'd prefer over a Pax with a good stock. Pax needs some love impo, They really just hope fanning and ammo types keep that gun alive (it isnt though, scotfield is usually picked, expecially since it can draw faster, hits for only a little less, and constains better fireing speed). I still think the SAA Colt was done dirty, it had a stock in the military issue to some groups too. I just dont feel its actually in a fighting pace anymore because they feature creeped Scotfield or if its about ammo packing the springy packs a ton of munitions. A kit I found hillarious was the new rifle with Springfield striker back up as you had an insane standard ammunition follow up, I normally run bleed and standard on the winnie adding ammo pool and loading bleed for the rifle itself allowing for pushing pressure (Could be switched for explosive rounds to remove concertina/traps as well). Top this off you can completely switch your melee out as your using the Striker which acts like a longer ranged knife. This allows you to choose an additional tool slot, most people are forced to take medkit, chokes, and then with melee locked you get 1 tool to choose freely, often a mandatory burn, but a utility secondary offers a lot of freedom for the last slot or if you dont worry as much for burns 2 slots. I find tool utility and traits to be strong assets prepairing the prep of dealing with hunters. Consumables can be situational, guns can be very specific for doing what you want, but tools are jack of all trades, you can use a penny derringer to blow open locked doors, you can use decoy fuses to simulate a dyno, you can also take alternative items such as beartraps or even another burn or a entirely seperate melee such as dusters so you can clear all AI without challenge while also having impunity of targeting the enemy players.

The reason is velocity, stable but too damn slow, along with a slow reload.

I love Hunt so much, but I absolutely hate the bow with a passion. I just hit 5 MMR and I see it way too much at times.

I find it funny because the loadout where this gun would be good in theory gets outclassed by the bow. A lot of times the bow puts way more pressure at mid-range than the Scottfield would because of the bow buffs. I guess it would work better as a budget option with a shorty Rival or Romero.

Adding speedloader variants to Precision and Spitfire would help them stay relevant with power creep. It was always about penetration power and reload speed for fanning, even the Spitfire that was super popular for years seems sluggish and unloved by today's standards. The Precision is great as a solo with the fast fire rate and reload, HV being a must. Though honestly the Bornheim Match is the best sidearm to run with a shotgun as a solo, easy spam pressure to actually push up on a trio or rapidly fish for headshots within 100m. I expect one day they'll give HV rounds to the Uppercut as well since the pick rate dropped so much because of the literal drop rate of the bullet.

Doesn't even matter honestly. There's only 7k players on atm, and each of them is probably rocking between 2k-6k hours. Everyone is farming the new blood, so knowing guns feels pointless.

I get no greater enjoyment in Hunt than winning fights against trash talkers without saying a single word, burning their $1500+ loadouts while they spectate, and moving on with life. We should all simply be kind to one another. Well done.

I feel the second team. My MMR went from 4 to 1 earlier this week, with only 3-4 solo games. I was getting bodied by other 1-3 stars at the start of this week to the point that there is NO WAY they weren't 6 star. I still can't rank up even though I'm getting a bunch of kills and extracts now that it seems things have settled again. I feel bad killing these 1 stars, but I can't rank up, so I don't know what gives. Hunt really messed something up this week.

Brother if you want a silly ass load out I must recommend the jigsaw loadout. Pick a spooky skin, like the butcher pig guy or someone with a freaky mask Bow with double concertina arrows and a baseball bat Bring all 4 traps: bear traps, concertina, poison and alert. Strip all perks off the hunter so you can afford frontiersman and pack mule (these are the only two perks you need, and it’s worth removing health chunks to afford the) And then bring 4 tool boxes for consumables. Whole load out costs like $500. Here’s how it works: Load into the game, absolutely sprint to the boss layer (even better if solo boss) and when you get there turn it into a house of horrors with traps everywhere. Hide them in unthinkable places where no one would ever check, like the corners of rooms and behind open doors. Using your toolboxes and pack mule, you should be able to scatter over 10 effective traps throughout compound - sometimes as many as 20 if you utilize compound bear traps. Empty your bow ammo somewhere evil, kill the boss if you want, but the real secret sauce is this: prick yourself on the barbed wire and *kys*. This way you can just spectate as the rest of the lobby converges on the boss layer and gets into a massive fight, all the while your “jigsaw traps” affect every fight and make their lives hell. You get XP from trap kills so long as you’re spectating as they occur: positive K/D every time. It’s so much fun, absolutely zero stress, and there’s so many ways to tinker and improve the strategy. My favorite trap is an alert “snowflake” - when you place 5 alerts all on top of each other for an instant 125 damage of fire. Spectating someone getting hit by the snowflake is hilarious, because they’re suddenly one hit from red skull death. Can not recommend this enough for a silly little guy like yourself :3

People like that trashtalker is exactly why I just keep voip off in games nowadays. Like I get that it takes away any possible positive experiences, but I already have enough stress in my life that I really don't need people like that bringing down my mood in one of the only hobbies I have for my off time.

I didn’t know that this got buffed, but I did know that all the shorty rifles got buffed with reduced sway. I think it’s a weird choice, since I think they were already a more common choice than the precision pistols. Edit: also the conversation at 17:20 is great lol

I've had a lot of issues pushing this specific area at 5:21. You can time a choke to go off under the floor board right there on that second story though and make that entire room and staircase cough. I've found that that makes people a lot less likely to hold that angle that you were having issues with right there.

The ammo buff for the precision guns is actually a surprisingly big buff. I have always had a sweet spot for the nagant and scotfield precision and NOW the uppercut precision has enough ammo to hold its own against any long ammo rifle.

One of the reasons why I step away from Hunt on a regular basis -> 3 guys feeling brave by firing avtos/dolches/nitros at a solo while calling the solo all sorts of names from the safety of their mom's basement: "little" something, coward, rat (to say the least). The projection is very high
