Back in the early days of Hunt, I remember being chased by Hellhounds, and running into the basement of Madonna Noir. Turns out, that was the Butcher's Lair on this map. I thought I was screwed, until I realized the Hellhounds weren't chasing me into the Lair. They still growled and glared at me, but wouldn't cross some invisible line. I always thought it'd be neat to add some unique audio of them wimpering in fear/frustration at their prey being in something else's territory... Also, Dragon's Breath _can_ ignite Hive swarms, but only if you shoot the ground under/in front of them. Typical Hunt ground-centric damage propogation, like with Explosive Ammo.
Remember: sound of exhale during melee attack is more louder than zombie screams. Use perk or throwables. Damage of throwbles don't fall if you out of stamina.
1000 hours in, and I didn't know you could hit the legs of AI to slow them down. I will be doing that more often. Thank you for the very useful tips.👏 P.S. I think it's funny that the Armored have jeans and boots under the armor. 🤣
Additional tip for meatheads: Despite what you would believe they're weak to poison. Pre-nerf the hand crossbow could kill them with like 2 poison bolts if they stood in the gas enough. A silenced negant can kill them in like 12 shots with poison rounds. Also you can kill concertina armored with melee without a bleed but you have to be as far as possible when meleeing it with a pitchfork or bomb lance
I have a clip of me playing a piano, then running outside and alerted a grunt. Only for him to ignore me and run to the piano. I then locked him in the house so he could groove in peace.
Dragons breath is glitched atm cuz it use to work for bee swarms but now u have to aim like at the ground when they're super close to kill the bee swarm
additional grunt fact: only one will be attempting to swing at you at at time, the one with its arm raised. In a big group of grunts, hit the one with its arm up at a time and you don't get hit.
Cool video, thank you! I would love a compound secrets/ analysis video, if you have such a thing up your sleeve. Positioning and the environment are so important in this game and a lot of it may not be immediately apparent, even something like how you think about pushing/ defending different compounds would be handy and interesting.
@@theknightowl1040 I don't know how I'd do one about positioning in this format, but I do have some ideas for guide videos about certain aspects of combat that I'd like to try out in the future
I don't really play much anymore, but yeah some compound secrets to this day I don't understand. From people finding super specific ways to jump across buildings or get into strange corners/geometry. For instance I know one at prison where you hop up on a small step ladder, spam vault while jumping and you can leg up into a bookshelf.
I have over 1,300 hours and I didn’t know you could headshot armored hellhounds 😨 to any newbies, another fact is that you can kill grunts with a heavy head hit + one light head hit (if I remember correctly). If you’re ever are in a pickle, knowing that could save you
Great video. I use the hammer to kill all AI and quickly kill Bosses. Another subtle tip against Armored if you throw the hatchet in the fleshy part(located in the back near the hip) you can one shot them that way too.
Immolatores can explode when hit by ai such as hellhounds and barb armors. I believe the cleaver grunt can do it but I haven't seen it. A buddy of mine learned this the hard way with a dog bitting an immie and it igniting a red barrel. Lost the clip because xbox hates memories. Water devils can be one shot by poison best is suppressed nugget. Meat heads can although rarely headshot you. The cleaver meat head once insta killed me with a headshot when berserker was first introduced. Yet to recreate this but not very eager to either. Theres also lore but thats not much tricks but rather trivial such as hives are women not indoctrinated by the hunters and meatheads are birthed from the fetus of a female hunter. Creepy stuff.
Yea…so, about the torch grunt and red barrels, I made the mistake of killing one right next to a barrel and got myself and both my teammates blown up by it since I didn’t even know that was an interaction that could happen
When i get magpie, once i pick up the bounty i dip so fast. Leave all the Ai alive on my way to extract. Just a good way to make sure followers get distracted

Explosive ammo also works on immolators, they die immediately and don't explode! Not that many people bring it but, possibly, good to know.

Cattu has been blessing us with surprise vid drops !
You can shoot a dragonbreath shot on the ground near the bee's to kill them. They will catch fire then.
More videos, YIPPPEEEEEE!

yes and the barbed wire variant needs to be headshot with spear or hatchet to go down in one hit

yeah, i learned it in the hard way too
Using Meatheads and Grunts as the moving sheild to move in opened position is real useful
Meathead hits like a trunk though So watch out
Penny shots blow threw locked doors 2
also boioioioioing on meathead too which is unrelated
I'm pretty sure long ammo fmj can penetrate a hellhound's helmet
all fmj has the same pen, compact fmj pierces the same as long
Im such a peebnute fanboy
Fuct I knew from Hunt Lab channel is that can burn swarms with dragon breath bullets if you shout right under it
Does starsshot clear hives?
yes!
Waiter! More of those please!
No way meathead drop rate is 50% :(((((((((((((( i'm just lucky, i guess
Me gustan tus videos mucho nwn
Why #LGBTQ? Don't see what that has to do with Hunt.
@@jeremy_mansion because I’m trans and want to promote a safe environment for other lgbtq+ hunters
Ah ok@@peebnute
