“Powerful” pretty sure it’s on par with a GTX 1650 isn’t it? Wouldn’t plan on utilizing that 120hz screen ever lol no Hall effect joysticks either, in an $800 device? So what happens when it gets stick drift? I also held one of these in best buy when I was considering buying one, and it feels like the cheapest plastic I’ve ever held. I guess if you want $200 laptop performance, a screen you’ll never fully utilize, and bad battery life, these things are pretty cool.

you did not mention the slim version having a storage of 1 TB and the usable storage would be around 867 GBs compared to the older PS5 version which has 825GBs of storage and usable storage of around 660GBs

I really hope you know how to solder. I had a v3 pro for about a year then the scroll wheel started to get really messed up. I later found out that it was an issue with the encoder and had to get a new encoder and swap it out. Overall though, it’s a great mouse!

I think a proper remake would be great, especially if they incorporate all the cut content from the original. Seeing that masterpiece have upgraded graphics would be insane

for me. i enjoy the legion go cause it can be used as a tablet. without controllers. i used to bring my gaming laptop and my tablet. this combines both. legion go being just the right size for reading/watching youtube. though the speaker are meh at best ( i use headphones ) but of course it will not beat a gaming laptop in power.

In Australia, now that the steam deck is officially released, it’s an extra $600 in my pocket to get a steam deck oled. At that price difference (and the fact that if I wanna play AAA games on my deck i’ll just stream them from my PC) it’s a no brainer to get the steam deck.

ROG ALLY X for me. I just bought mine.

I use my legion go mostly for emulation and let me tell you that it is THE BEST handheld for that purpose. For most emulators i use power saving mode and the battery lasts for 5+ hours. Plus if u invest in a good power bank u can easily hit 10+ hours.

Yes it's overhyped, still a good handheld. It fits a niche, just like all handhelds do. Though it is a bit annoying its users think it's the best. It is the best, for YOU. Just like the Rog Ally is the best for ME. You need to take a look at the most played games in order to see what the average consumer would play: PUBG, Naraka, COD, GTA V, Elden Ring, CP2077, Throne and Liberty, Stardew Valley, MHW, Black Myth Wukong, Warframe, etc. And those are just the games from Steam, in reality you need to add in Overwatch 2, Minecraft, and many more. You see a pattern here? Most are demanding games, and competitive games too. Just like in my case, I got the ally cause it was the best price for the performance. I don't care about the battery, I can get a power bank. Screen size is good enough for me, and OLED isn't enough for me to justify playing in half or less the fps. Most people play a match of overwatch/cod whatever, beat a boss on elden ring/black myth wukong, or fool around in GTA V and that's it. From the stard, OW/COD and most competitive games aren't viable for the SD. GTA V doesn't even work on the SD, and you're left with 30 fps for the remaining games. That's why I said it fits a niche. If you're the type that likes to emulate, plays Hallow Knight, Ori, Stardew Valley, Dead Cells and so on. The this is the perfect device for you no questions asked. But MOST players aren't like that, as you can see by the average chart. So I don't get why people always recommend the Steamdeck. You think John over here would rather play his cod match in 40fps or 120 fps? You like to emulate, play cozy non demanding games, indie games, and so on? Steam deck for sure. You want performance? Rog Ally. You want performance and a bigger screen? Legion go. You want to try new stuff, with more performance than the SD and less than the ally/lego? Onexplayer. This is the market so far. And most surveys do show that the majority of players would rather have more fps than better graphics (surveys that are usually done by consoles like PS5 or XBOX). Why do you think handhelds would be any different? Again, I wish biased SD owners would understand that before recommending SD to EVERYONE. I don't recommend the Rog Ally for everyone, because while it is for the majority, there's still other niches. Edit: It's extra annoying when fanboys say you can tinker with the SD and install epic games and play GTA V and whatnot. So? Usually your main argument for the SD is "It's just like a console, plug and play, windows sucks!" cause other handhelds can also easily Install Bazzite and have the steamdeck experience. So the only argument left would be the OLED screen, and I promise you most people would choose TRIPLE the fps, longevity, 120/144hz, VRR, battery life (in the case of the rog ally x) and many more the steamdeck doesnt have instead of an OLED screen. Why do you think the average gamer's monitor is IPS or VA? A 24 inch OLED isn't crazy expensive, and if you can afford a handheld you can definitely afford an oled monitor for your pc.

its honestly too weak. ive had it for 6 months. had some fun with it when it doesn't run games like dogshi. I feel like fanboys overhyped it way too much for what it is. for titles from 2015 and below its fine. newer stuff needs some work and thats being generous. 40fps dont cut it in this day and age, even for a handheld. weve seen and have gotten better with their own cons. it was an okay buy. just dont expect too much.

I got the slim and my friend came over to play with his old PlayStation 5 and we could tell that the resolution was noticeably better and it was also quicker and had less noise.

The legion go def has its problems but not sure i'd trade it in for the ally or ally x. Simple fact that I can use a micro sd means the deck oled and legion go are better. If I play emulators or older games at 12x8 the battery will get around hour and 20 min at the min. The biggest detractor for the legion go to me is Lenovo itself, they are horrible at updating.

Seems like a lot of sensors. More things can get ruined. More likely to break.
