I have 2 main points. 1.Like you said Weapon industry 2.wanting to gain Influence and more power around the world. If we look at Afghanistan and it's position,it's ideal to threaten China. Same as Vietnam, so if they captured Vietnam China would have another enemy nation on its border. That's why they are in Sirya, they are trying to expand there Sphere of influence to box In China and Russia.

No, conflict will not arise. And if it id, serbia would cease to exist. Since Croatia never, and I need to say this again- NEVER attacked serbia, and serbia did that multiple times( and lost each time), the only possibility of starting the war is from serbian side. And what happens when outside country attacks NATO member? Yeah.

Everyone knows that Croatia's biggest rival / most likely adversary is Serbia. Croatia buying fighter jets off France was meant to have France help Croatia always have the advantage over Serbia in terms of fighter jets. France just canceled whatever advantage Croatia has over Serbia by selling to Serbia more advanced jets to Serbia than they sold to Croatia. Even if there are more limitations on Serbia's jets now France can easily remove them if it suits them.

He heck only reason why they helped serbia in 1914 was due to them wanting greater influence and lands in the central europe. The heck they were main arm suppliers of little attant, which collapsed due to french not protecting Czechoslovakia,an third member of that alliance.

You have a 4-year gap and Serbian criminal attacks on unarmed people in another part, very far from Croatia, which has forgotten the war. You really are grandmasters, world champions in lying! Serbia did the maximum it could during the war because Serbs in Serbia generally were too afraid to fight against Croatians. Since the Serbian population did not want to fight the Serbian government couldn’t mobilise/conscript the general population to fight in Knin (plus elsewhere in Croatia + BiH). JNA/VJ reservists from Serbia barely responded to call-ups for military exercises and most should be conscripts did not answer the call for compulsory military service during the war period because they were afraid of being sent over the border to fight. Boško Perošević and Mihajlo Markovic, both important members of Milosevics SPS party at the time, admitted that there was no will in Serbia to fight during that period, the sense of defeatism spread throughout the country and there were even doubts that Serbs in Serbia were prepared to defend Serbia proper if Croatia decided to expand the war that direction. The link I provide at the bottom of this comment is from google books and some pages are free for public view, one of them being page 228 and it backs up these claims. It even mentions how a high-ranking official in the JNA/VJ was fired in early 1995 for criticising the poor state JNA/VJ was at that time, by complaining, ‘the personal, moral, and technological situation of the Yugoslav Army was catastrophic in relation to the objective threat of war which the state faces.’ The fact that there were no mass demonstrations or riots in Belgrade after the liberation of Knin in 1995 shows that Serbs in Serbia were too afraid to fight and just wanted the war to be over. There was no domestic pressure on Milosevic to continue the war because deep down Serbs know those lands HV liberated was always Croatian. books.google.com.au/books?id=vZO0AAAAQBAJ&pg=PA210&lpg=PA210&dq=vojske%20jugoslavije%201995%20knin&source=bl&ots=BpMN85lxS5&sig=ACfU3U0T68HV7C8H5s31PraXDROJfUP5vg&hl=en&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwiKmq3G47TpAhX68HMBHTydDgsQ6AEwAnoECAQQAQ&fbclid=IwZXh0bgNhZW0CMTAAAR2O5RGyx_ME_xN9E-C8hAB_uCo0bB2lr80jNF_UxJ0plMY5yiUnpcNuB6g_aem_p98HaG3CKAn4HQdK96A-pg#v=onepage&q=vojske%20jugoslavije%201995%20knin&f=false

Poland shows what a former poor communist eastern European country can do when they actually have politicians who love their country. The standard of living in Poland is higher today than what it was just before communism fell (unlike most former communist countries), the economy is growing every year (even during COVID it did), their strong enough to reject forced immigration into their country by Brussels and a lot of people from their diaspora are all returning back because there is actually work and a future for their families in their homeland. All of these factors have contributed to a strong sense of ethno-nationalism-pride in Poland and has given the foundations for allowing Poland to build up its military strength. When a country is poor, run by corrupt politicians most citizens resent any type of military build up. Croatia is an unfortunate example of this even though Croatia has a similar history with Serbia like Poland does have with Russia and Serbia has a President who wishes to emulate Putin.
