Why is France selling fighter jets to both Croatia and Serbia? This update lays out the basics, but the real story of divide and conquer is coming soon. Check out the video now and get ready for the full breakdown soon!

Like you said probably to pull serbia closer to West, but in my opinion serbia does not pose a great threat to croatia anymore be it with western tech or eastern

@@matija4256 yes, but I think that is not the point anymore, no side can do much, just petty grievances that fuel pointless arms buying sprees that only benefit the rich and powerful. What do you think?

My eyes are on Serbia very closely. They have sent quite a few volunteers to Russia's SMO. I wonder how many plan on coming back to Serbia and attempting Banjaska 2.0... Lets hope not.

France ripped off Croatia big time!

Everyone knows that Croatia's biggest rival / most likely adversary is Serbia. Croatia buying fighter jets off France was meant to have France help Croatia always have the advantage over Serbia in terms of fighter jets. France just canceled whatever advantage Croatia has over Serbia by selling to Serbia more advanced jets to Serbia than they sold to Croatia. Even if there are more limitations on Serbia's jets now France can easily remove them if it suits them.

@@zvonimirhr_herceg2562 perhaps you are right, don't you think this whole Macron´s talk about stabilizing the region and pushing Serbia towards Europe is bs? Perhaps something else is under the surface?

100% it’s bs! It’s all about sales…. Also, 80% of France’s investments in the Balkans are in Serbia. If you look up the article, “From Paris with love: Serbia’s east-west balancing act pays off”, on the website Politico, it backs up this claim and it explains France’s and Serbia’s relations in detail (RUclips won’t allow me post the link for it). France are naturally going to lean towards helping Serbia more than Croatia.

Serbia would probably buy Russian jets but they cant sell any because of the war

Funny thing is russia sold to croatia and serbia during wars

Russian arms sales fell off big time since the conflict in Ukraine. A lot of this is probably due to the Russians needing to constantly replace material in their arsenal so I doubt the jets would be delivered anytime soon.
