Slade ~ Coz I Luv You ~ TOTP 400
Not much to say really, the surviving footage existing of Slade's TOTP 400 performance of their # 1 hit single Coz I Luv You.
I do what I do, and others do what they do, I choose to upload these things after having worked to restore them, but this footage is poor and I really don't have the time, but what I can give you is the choice to watch it without having it plastered with dancing jiggling ego marks much appreciated by a very small gaggle of catamites who seem to think that I give a flying fk......
So, enjoy this little snippet, if you can, without the ego marks, and feel free to comment, you can on my channel I welcome your comments.

Slade ~ Cum On Feel The Noize ~ The Scene, Ronnie Kaye

Many years ago I went onto the historic films archive site and freely downloaded a clip of Slade performing Cum On Feel The Noize on a Saturday afternoon slot Music Show from Oklahoma City's WKY-TV' Aired at 12.30, "The Scene" was hosted by DJ Ronnie Kaye and featured many international acts that would come into the studio and be filmed miming whatever it was they were plugging. Backtrack to Mi...

A bit of a lo res upload just to have it placed really....once again, aas requested by the members of Slade In England, the rather wonderful This Girl from the 1975 movie but features a mash up between the isolated Vocals from the film into the LP version...... Slade In England......happily annoying dickheads since 1997.

Upon request from the membership of the all singing, all dancing, fab and groovy Slade In England here is a little distraction for Slade fans of all descriptions! When Slade were largely forgotten by the mainstream music lovers of the world they carried on regardless, through adversity and still brought us fans the product that they were desperate to see sell and place them back where they belo...
Slade - Popshop - RBTF TV 1971

In October of 1971 Slade recorded 3 nights of live shows which were being edited down into their seminal album 'Slade Alive', unfortunately no footage exists of those shows. With 'Coz I Luv You' notching up its fourth week at number 1 in the charts in the UK, the band took themselves off to Belgium to record an edition of 'Popshop', a weekly transmitted French language pop showcase from broadca...

THis is a small clip of silent footage that has been online for almost a decade featuring the Doobie Brothers and Slade in 1976. It doesn't last long, but I was asked recently by a very well respected Slade fan and one of the largest collections of Slade 'stuff' there is....if I could fit sound to it ...so I did....here is the result....just a little bit of Slade in the USA, 1976....... The ori...

I recently had a request to restore this 1972 promo film to how it would have been seen when shown on Top Of The Pops by one of the valued members of Slade In Englands Facebook group. This is classic Slade and was filmed at the Rainbow theatre before the gig with about 40 fans who were waiting outside invited in to the auditorium to add some atmosphere to the proceedings, this was decided to be...

I thought it was about time I threw this into the mix, a track that the writer of the choon, Slade maestro Jim Lea has revealed is his favourite Slade track, Lea maintains that it was the first song he ever wrote as a pimply youth, and all Slade fans are glad he did, and glad that it was still around to be given the Holder/Lea treatment for the film soundtrack of 'Flame' This grainy black and w...

This is a departure from me as I do not usually just upload an audio track, but, time is tight and I thought it was about time that I shared this track with the fanbase. There is another copy of this doing the rounds and for some reason it has the front slightly missing, a few glitches within the track and doesn't have the proper ending, so the SIE version addresses those points. This track was...

As it is Jim Lea's birthday (14 June) here is a treat for all die hard Slade fans and casual observers delving into Slade's history, and this appearance on BBC1's flagship saturday morning childrens show 'Multi Coloured Swapshop' Lea's Dummies were a family affair of wife Louise and brother Frank. The BBC failed to archive this track due to a tape change and an unknown band up next didn't reall...

First and foremost a big thank you to the TopPop people who managed to keep hold of many of their recordings, made by AVROTROS Broadcasting, while the BBC were wiping videotape, without AVROTROS there would be a much much bigger hole in the list of classic pop performances no longer existing. This is the second time that I have reworked this footage, once 11 years ago, and now in an extended ed...

You may want to see a little more than fourteen seconds of this, so here is a not oft seen clip of Slade footage NOT currently doing the rounds, but thanks to an anonymous generous soul I have been sent this to colourise and let everyone see..(Thank's Gary). Here then are Slade appearing on Top Of The Pops 17-2-1972... ,,,Look Wot U Dun..... (Lea/Holder)

On 27th September 1980 Slade's Jim Lea emerged from the shadows of a floundering Slade that had a month before set the wheels in motion for a return to the big time with their festival stealing performance at that years Reading festival. Lea appeared with his wife Louise and brother Frank to perform two tracks on the Multi Coloured Swap Shop, the BBC1 Saturday morning flagship hosted by Noel Ed...

✨Amazing!, great job, man... 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
SLADE❤❤❤
One of the greatest songs ever written!
Just read david grahams reading write up in the wild wild wild book. Made the hairs on my arms stand up. Brilliant.😅
This. Is an awesome version... Powerful and with meaning....
Does anyone else hear Video Killed The Radio Star/Buggles? I presume this came first.
Slade.susi cuatro.sweet .T rex.uriah heep.. status quo . Nazareth..an i gues many more bands that are not very well know in the USA
Listening to Slade each morning has cured my friend's 30 year depression. She's off her medication, has ditched the therapist and found a job.
One of my favourite songs by the group. Dave's guitar playing peerless.
I always thought their band name was kick-ass.
What a great documentary about the greatest band of the 70s. Slade were the background of my teens. Thanks for the great memories
SLADE EST TOUTE MA JEUNESSE CE GROUPE N AS JAMAIS ETE ESTIME A SA JUSTE VALEUR I 2:41 I
Pure gospel…. “Raise yo hands!”
0:18 Your best friend they’re Jonathan. You two are practically made for each other.
01.01.2025.
One of the Goofiest looking bands that could have only happened in the 70s
Slade rule
The version of this on "Slade Alive". Fantastic.
Thank you i grew up with Slade i had a top hat like Noddys when i saw them in Sydney they were fantastic leave todays computer made crap for dead i am 71 and still love listening to them.
Loved them in 73 visiting family in England..saw them in concert twice in the States..had a Noddy top hat as well
A Masterpiece forever
legendary clip
I have this as one of my treasured 12’’ singles, definitely one of my favourites still today
Slade can not be contrast with other groups for their music and style was unique. genius of Slade how they can play a cover better than the original artist.
Great song! Loved this when it came out. This should have been a massive hit for them.
Is that Jimmy Purcy of sham69 I see sitting next to Jonathan King?
nice parade of Gibsons --- singer is smart --- saving is back with the sg jr.
This sound is straight off of the live album 'Slade On Stage '. How hard could it have been to record them live? Pitiful.
🇷🇺👍🔥
How dose it feel bloody marvellous what a song and what a band❤
Desember 2024, Kyiv, Ukraine. This is very hard and terrible time for my country, but I enjoy Slade. It calmed the nerves just a little. Thank you, Noddy, Dave, Jim, Don ❤❤❤
That footage is not compatible with the song
I just love this one
Jonathan King to me always came off as a pompous windbag. He thought he was the center of the universe. He was a name dropper “I was Paul McCartney’s best friend blah blah blah”. Pure narcissistic behavior.
BANG! Right in solar plexus!!!
Brilliant I’ve never seen that before 😮😉
je me rappelle de ce 45t ,surtout la face b ,kill me at hot club tonight
How Does It Really Feel 50Years Later??? 👁️🗨️🎩 Noting Has Really Changed! 💔🌏
