How do you get the plunger clean enough to get it out of the solenoid? Mine is stuck pretty good
might have to use a little muscle but they're hard to break, solid metal
Brilliant!
Igotonetoo
Hands down the best video on this product. Thank you very much!
Igoto onetoo
I’ve replaced mine twice it keeps melting what’s the cause?
You need to change the timer too, that's probably the cause. If the timer gets wonky, it'll sometimes stick, and if it sticks during the drain cycle, electricity continues to be supplied to the solenoid and it gets hot enough to burn the plastic.
0:44
So you changed this without pulling the dishwasher out? I need to do this service this weekend. This is very helpful. Also, where on that timer knob is the drain cycle if I want to jump to that to test the dishwasher? Is it near "Rinse Only" mark or after "Plate warmer"?
Did this service yesterday, the plunger was really stuck to the solenoid so I just used a new one; works great now. This video was very helpful and I did not have to take the dishwasher out to do this; thank you so much. I will keep an eye on it for next few months to see if this happens again and if I need a new timer. The timer seemed to be working well and did not seem to get stuck in "drain open" for a long time, so really not sure what melted the plastic in the solenoid in the first place. Thanks again.
Thank you... I was trying to figure out if that could work!
Had this problem with my dishwasher Drainnnn Ganggggggg !
Thanks for sharing bro.
That’s the one I want, this the one I can afford…lmao👍
Can I just double tap the dryer breaker it’s located in the garage where the welder is.
Thank for the great video
great video, tx for posting it!
I used a dryer plug for my welders and compressor, just used a grinder to grind the L shaped prong into an I shape and ran the cord out to the garage and put a hook next to the dryer for which ever plug isn’t being used.it’s been working more than 20 yrs now
this will be my second selenoid in one month why are they burning out does anyone know ?
Usually because the timer is going bad.
@@leisuredrummer is there an easy way to check the timer to make sure it's operating properly or is it usually the timer, one year old dishwasher, replaced the solenoid at six months, just melted again and have to replace again, was working fine with no issues then bam, didn't work, no lead up to the problem, just filled up with water like last time
@@buckeyeg4888 I don't know a great way to check the timer unfortunately. Mine seemed like it was working fine and then would get hung up in the drain position seemingly randomly which would cause the solenoid to burn up.
@@leisuredrummer thanks, I just went and bought one anyway, I'll change both, 🤞
I was hoping for a real test not someone polishing his @#$%$# trash can. Wtf
Just Hooked mine up but used the hose that came with it … it tries to prime itself like you said but no pressure whatsoever. I even stood there for 10 minutes holding the trigger to see if it’ll pick up and nope nothing. Took apart the hose connections and reconnected yet still it fails. This was my experience with this pressure washer, not so great.
Did you turn the water on and pull the trigger before turning on the washer to get the air out of the line first?
Thank you! I used ur tutorial!
I have to go roughly 75 feet and I need 50amp breaker 220 plug same plug u used what size wire should I use I have to run it through my attic and down through walls.
Thank you, Name is Alfred us navy disabled veteran
Very helpful for some reason when I kept looking it up I couldn't find it.
Why do they fucking use cheap ass hitch pins instead of washers and bolts these pins fucking suck
I am from Tajikistan in our city one phase 380V as installing nema
Well sir I still wanna thank you for showing me how to assemble my pressure washer. I hope mines last and works.. you showed me step by step.. I appreciate you any ways stay safe 😷if u read this a year later lol!
Thanks man! A lot easier to follow and watch than deal with the instructions.
I agree. I was going to assemble mine but after looking at the instructions it became a little overwhelming
Thanks helpful. I probably would have found this out eventually, but it is nice to see it here. Cheers and thanks again.
What size tank do you have on the cart?
I'm having to return mine the spacers that go through the axle aren't machined enough so they don't slide in the way they should
I've had mine for about an hour now and love it
U didn't purge the air bubbles 🤣
4:08 thats an adapter for CO2
No neutral, just two hots and a ground. This is wired incorrectly with a neutral connected to the ground terminal. Your welder will have no need for those two 120V legs.
Each "hot" is 120. So yes in fact he does require those 120s to get 220.Neutrals are not required on a psychics level but may be required by local code
I like your idea about adding a quick connect at both ends. Anyone should be able to add this as an after market option. Right?
The only difficulty I ran into with the assemble was connecting the spray wand to the trigger handle. You have to push REALLY HARD to connect the 2 pieces when threading them together. Be careful to avoid accidental cross threading which can cause the wand to leak during use.
Very good video
Thanks. I just cleaned the burnt plastic as well. They wanted $40 for a new plunger.
First time I learned that the hard way
@bg147 Thanks for the info and saving me a few bucks. I’m going to get some more life out of mine with that good tip!
How did you clean the burned plastic?
@@HeatherREdwards I used a flat blade (standard) screw driver to get the chunks off the plunger. They came off in chunks with a bit of effort. I didn't have to chisel and mainly pried them off.
@@HeatherREdwards I shaved it with an exacto knife as best I could then used 120 grit sandpaper I had laying around to make sure it was all removed
Can the dryer outlet handle it? I feel like I'm gonna burn down my house...
You lost me when you started using your own equipment 🙄
I got mine $38 off
Good job man !
40 amp is all you need.. Most of you do NOT have 80 series plasma. Most of you cut 45 to 60. 8/3 wire is ok.
While the 8/3 wire maybe sufficient for the welder requirement, installing a 50a breaker with 8/3 wire is a fire waiting to happen!! He should have installed a 40a breaker that would protect the supply wire appropriately.
@@FreedomIsntFree2023 ... most everyone views the 50amp product names and installs 50a breakers. Mine says it 50a too thou on 'tag and manual' lists max current '30a at 220/240v'. Installing '30a' dual-breaker - should b safe n' good to go.
@@nemesisxrox6773 I don't quite get your point? Most everyone?? 8/3 has an ampacity of 40 amps.....period. Installing a 50 amp breaker to protect 8/3 wiring is wrong and not safe. I do not really care what you connect to it (welder, compressor, etc.). In your case, what is the gauge of the wire your 30 amp breaker is protecting? Again, I have no concerns about what your welding equipment tag says....
@@FreedomIsntFree2023 is correct. The breaker isn't there to protect the equipment. It is only there to protect the wire.
And who is to say that someone someday doesn't plug something into this that would draw more than 40 amps? That wire is undersized for the breaker. Fire hazard.
J - Tech Do you think the Lincoln Weld-Pak 140 HD fit on this cart?
Definitely have to use 6g wire, but also I'm not so sure you need neutral. Just two hots and a ground, so 6/2 should be good
I just came here to see if I was the only person that had the same issue of constantly losing pressure. I'm glad I skipped over 20mins worth didn't know he was just gonna clean he's garbage bin lol.
I too bought one and had the same exact issues at putting it together. This is the first Ryobi product that I didn't like.
The hose reel really stinks. I am watching this video to see what I was missing because i couldn't get the hose to reel. I bought this specifically because of that reel.
I am watching some Dude wash his garbage bin. Thank you COVID.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Lmfao I skipped like 20mins into it.
