To me, it seems battle hubs don’t help much. A lot of great players hang out in the hub so it is a dice roll. I thought that was what ranked is for, the game puts you with people of similar rank. In Uni you can even filter the level of players you want matched with (all ten people online). I usually jump on rank and hope for the best.

i'm decent at this game. not really good, not really bad. it is a hard game to get into as a beginner. and i do wanna do ranked. but more to have fun then actually become one of the best. if i can have fun i don't mind if i win or lose. but because a lot of people are much better then me playing this game it can be hard. and since i don't know anyone who do play this game or fighting games in general it becomes sad. but also pushes me to work harder, learn more about the mechanics of the game, learn more about the game itself and my character. i always say dbfz is a very beginner friendly fighting game. it was my first one really i actually got into and enjoyed. i ain't the best at it but i'm pretty darn good. to the point where i lose just cuz i got cocky. all i say is if u like the game play at ur own pace. do other stuff first, find friends who equally enjoy the game and just play with them. hell they might even help u if there better then u. and if u wanna get more skilled at the game just practice like crazy. that's my advice. if anyone wants help learning or just wanting to have a friendly fight i'm game

uni is just always a game i occasionally play with a few people along with a lot of other fgs, that I never bothered to learn to get good at. I dont mind playing vets in most games, cuz thats when you get to see what kind of combos they can pull off and figure out whatever knowledge checks. its kind of a medium difficulty game, that seems reasonably simple imo, just weird how its the only game thats not an air dasher that makes me want to double jump and jumps are so short that its hard to get crossups eventhough theres a character with a decent crossup button i tried(kaguya). no superjumps are weird.

It shouldnt have brand new graphics, but it should have acceptable price

The sprites in this series are so gorgeous that you cant really redo them "better". It would just be a lot of time and money to make something on par with what we already have

Honestly the graphics are the main thing to be changed when I read online on the subject. And while I love the game's gameplay so much, I can't disagree that the game isn't appealing at all visually. I was interested by the title because I wanted something "kinda like blazblue" lol.

I have to be honest, I truely love fg, but I must admit that Melty Blood and Unist have , for me, a frenchy, the weakest chara design of all fg. But now I understand why thanks to you ! My favourite ones are from blazblue and guilty gear by far !

So that's why most of all anime/manga characters has the most plain look 🤔

This is a really good point. Fighting games are made to be plaayed shoulder to shoulder with other people. Participate in your local gatherings. The comeradery is a big part of fighting game culture.

tbh I was completely unaware of this series until after uni2 dropped (not realising the influence this had on stuff like mugen) and even though I play street fighter and Tekken the most, it made me want to actually try the series and get into the lore as well, so I am now just trying out cl-r

He reminds me of Ryuji and Yosuke from Persona 4 and 5 respectively but more chill and put together. That's just the vibe Tsurugi gives me at first glance.

Graphics and combo's are nice it doesn't need out of this world graphics and 1000 combo strings to be a great FIGHTING game.. it's perfect and tbh I prefer it over Tekken 8 and SFVI because of how simple and great the combo's are.. people are just used to getting what thy ask for and the fact that the developers are sticking to their core with the 2nd one is wonderful.

Melty and Under Night are about the fantastical, surreal, and absurd that lurks just beneath the unassuming, banal, and modern facade of everyday life. This is why magicians, vampires, ancient earth spirits, demons, etc. are walking around in jeans, trench-coats, school blazers, and turtle neck sweaters.

Screw them, then. UN2 is literally my favorite fighting game EVER made! If new players just hate nearly perfectly made fighting games, then they don’t even deserve to play this game to begin with.

If street fighter would go back to 2d fighting and have the same mechanics like most arc systems fighting games, street would be awesome! The problem is, they tryna make street fighter to realistic like mortal Kombat and tekken.
