The carnival is not over.....

I thought I had heard all The Seekers songs but I never heard this one. I love it!

The carnival was certainly over when the sung their last song 😢

But, what happened with this extraordinary group, that was forgotten for so much time? I think they are as good as BGs, and even better than Carpenters (none theless everyone has its own great merits) don´t you think?

I know what I like, and I liked listening to the seekers. Being able to watch videos of them now is even better. I always preferred popular music as sung by the Seekers, ABBA, and a few other singers.

I read somewhere this was filmed in colour but the colour copy was lost a while ago. I wish they would restore the colour to it but I guess it's not financially viable.

THE 60 ‘S WAS A DIFFERENT TIME IN LIFE WITH FOLK GROUPS ALL OVER THE U.S. LIKE MANY GROUPS OF THE TIME THEY HAD A SOUND THAT WAS THEIR SIGNATURE SOUND !!! THE 60 ‘S WAS A HAPPY TIME IN LIFE , THE MUSIC WAS OUR BRIDGE TO LIFE DAY BY DAY !!! I LOVED THE SOUND THE SEEKERS HAD , THE HARMONIES AND ALL THE INSTRUMENTS, THEY SEEKED AND THEY FOUND THE WORLD !!!

What a wonderful view back 2 the past. What a Great group the Seekers were. All of them. Thats was music.

I wish someone would get the behind the scene stories from the members while they are still alive and make a full featured movie about the Seekers. I am guessing there are some very interesting personal untold stories that would make a great movie. The movie would be right up there with La Bamba & Buddy Holley when the story of Judith Durham is told. In fact the name of the movie might be Judith Durham and the Seekers. It might start with her childhood, Seekers road to fame, car accident & tragic death. A story more people need to know about!

The Taku was my favorite ferry boat in SE Alaska because it had A World of Our Own and I'll Never Find Another You on the jukebox. I rode the ferry often between Sitka and Juneau when in High-school and have lived in both cities. I have Loved Judith essentially my entire life, since 16, still do, and will to eternity. I am 75 now.
