I'm not convinced at all by the knocking sounds reported by the family who claim it started after visiting a psychic medium (whom I'm also yet to be convinced by). My first thought on the first video clip was this is probably a flat and a neighbour below tapping back. In flats sound carries very easily through walls and ceilings and anyone who has a noisy neighbour will know you can literally hear sneezing and people tapping on a wall or ceiling. However on watching their recreatons of excitment and surprise at the knocking happening again, their reactions look staged for the camera like a performance. People do this for all kinds of attention reasons. Hoping a monetized 'paranormal proof' video will go viral is usually one. Unless you see a story like that backed by compelling evidence, ie it's the ground floor of a house or the room below is empty and it's not an upper flat, along with a report from professional paranormal researchers, and ideally an independent credible witness there to film and confirm the knocks as they happen, I'd dismiss it as a prank or attention seeking. I have experienced and heard real paranormal activity myself with my own ears. However I have never in my nearly 40 years now of researching hauntings and paranormal activity ever seen anyone capture anything like convincing paranormal activity video, let alone intelligent responses to tapping. I've only ever seen a few things on video which could be even considered paranormal after looking at many thousand videos going back decades. The knocking sound at the end of your video happens at the precise time we see your left arm being extended out and appear to stretch out off screen and lower. Is it possible you unconsciously tapped a surface or your hand or part of your arm made contact with something? Could even be arm or hand joint cracking with the sudden arm movement which adult ears might not pick up but a sensitive mic would. The arm movement sync with the sound is a quite evident on the repeat 3x playback. Another thing is the microphone appears to rock slightly as that happens which may suggest something inside the microphone or the stand caused what sounded like a knock effect but may have been just a mechanical sound or digital recording anomaly. Many people mistake 'orbs' on photos for spirits which have been absolutely debunked by James Randi as common (and easy to recreate) digital sensor anomalies common to most digital cameras. The most common cause is dust, fibre or smoke particles which the sensor cannot recreate in size, shape and spacial position properly so enlarges if close to the lense or near a light source.

I worked in palliative care for 11years .it was quite normal for people who are near death to become lucid and see dead relatives / friends. I also saw and heard many things i could not explain ,i even saw a ghost .

I have so much respect for you. I hate Christian nationalism. It must end. They are scared demons will come into the house, but omg killing a five year old is not demonic. I just can"t.... I just can't get over how idiotic that is. I have no words. Seriously. Religion causes more harm than anything. Funny enough.... i had a discussion about this today. A friend telling me horror movies opens doorways. I was like what??? That is what you are worried about??? What about judgement, pride, lies, gossip, betrayal, those are not active doorways? What about anger? Evil is everywhere. Literally. a horror movie is the least of your problems. What about Christians killing in the name of God. Hating and judging in the name of God? Are those not problems to be adressed? No ways... I just can't. The entitlement of Christians that they use to justify their horrible deeds makes me sick everday. Hence why I left Cristianity when a fellow worker told me i got breast cancer due to my sins. The fact remains... if your religion requires you to judge, hurt or hate, you should know it's NOT GOOD. Yeshua never hated, hurt or killed nyone. But the Christians who claim to follow Him do it with no problem. No religion will cause me to hurt another, even if I am threatened with hell. It is fine. God is not a God of hate and hurt, no, but of love and redemption. But hey, good luck telling His followers. Indoctrination is one hell of a drug.

I attended a classic case of what was supposedly SHC in the 80’s as a firefighter…….they even made a tv documentary about the case. Years later working as a fire investigator I found out it was apparent that SHC as such doesn’t exist and has been scientifically disproven by DeHaan and others through the pigs in blankets experiments although I do recall a few cases where people have been walking along and flames have erupted from their bodies (one on a school stairs….possibly in Glasgow?) which do seem to be a different phenomena….all interesting though.

It's called spontaneous combustion... I've heard about it happening to a few people over time, in my 64 years.

It would seem many school children have used ouja boards at school, just like my self and a group of friends back in the late 1960's except we used an up turned glass. We had a few sessions after school, the final one for me was when a few of us had fingers on the glass and some children were stood around us watching. That session the glass did not spell out anything, instead it circled the board we had made at ever increasing speed until it went so fast it shot off the board and I guess would have smashed on the floor except one of the onlookers caught it. At that point we decided to call it a day, the glass and the board were locked away in a school cupboard and we all went home. The next day and after school hours I unlocked and opened the cupboard and to my absolute shock saw were the glass once stood was a shattered pile of brokem glass crystals, if you had hit the glass with a hammer you couldn't have smashed the glass that fine, the glass was intended to be broken.....just like my relationship with the unknown. We were warned by a teacher never to do such things again, in her words, you never know what you are inviting into you lives.

Such well told tales of horror , are a welcome relief to the horrors going on in the world on the news.

Since birth I've been plagued with almost pathological curiosity. I HAD to know about Angels, the Bermuda Triangle, identity of Jesus, Charles Fort's puzzling rainstorms of pebbles, fish etc (happy to say I've satisfied most of my obsessive searches). What I know about SHC isn't pretty or particularly surprising. That is, should one recall other lives or experiences. Smoking, alcohol & increased metabolic phosphorus add fuel, but human combustion is essentially a study that includes reactions of others to an assigned victim to DEWs (Direct Energy Weapons). This tech may be relatively new here NOW ("relatively:" some interesting fires have taken place the last few decades). So the SHC cases I've heard of were for all intents & purposes assassinations. (**if you think Earth is alone here in Space, never mind** lol)

I'll never forget the black and white pic of the old lady's leg and shoe near the fire that was in many paranormal books and magazines in the 80's. Both horrifying and fascinating in equal measure to me as a boy growing up in that strange era.

Interesting synchronicity for me with this video as I was just at Cornelia Bandi's home in Cesena Italy which is where the SHC took place. And was thinking about the case when I saw the video! The Countess' home is open to the public and also hosts ghost tours where they talk about her mysterious death among other paranormal happenings at the castle. Its closer to Bologna than Verona and definitely worth a visit. I'd love to do a ghost hunt there.

It's always the same. First there is some harmless spook phenomenon, then people suspect the devil because they're deluded by religion, and then the phenomenon tries its best to match the expectations.

My dad used to get the Unexplained magazine when I was a kid. After reading the SHC stuff, to this day, if my legs get a bit hot when I'm in bed I take a sneaky peek just to make sure I'm not combusting.
