I can’t wait to share this episode with my only son in person when I get to visit him in Georgia for his US Army Graduation and then his 4 day Family Leave !! Congrats to your Son . Fort Gordon , Georgia is where I went for my AIT , which was Military Police , I think my MOS was 95 bravo . That was way back in 1974 . Congrats to you Mom for raising a man who wants to serve his country ... Go Army !!
@@jeffwarren6906 That is so cool!! Thank you for your service! My son is at Fort Moore (formerly Benning) in GA. His MOS is 11B and he got an Option 40 so after graduation he pretty much leaves for Pre-RASP and then into RASP and then Airborne is in there somewhere too…. I am very new to all of this so I have been trying to study up so I don’t have to ask so many questions and can just listen to the stories he tells me and follow along best I can!! He signed up for 6 years! I knew it would be hard having him so far away (we are from MN) but it’s even harder than I thought and his dog just turned 2 so walking past my sons room and seeing the dog lying on his bed with his head resting on my sons favorite hoodie and his dad eyes looking up at me…..haven’t gone a day yet with no tears but it’s getting better…..I just keep praying and writing letters and drawing stuff and writing jokes…. He is an amazing young man and I really cannot take any credit for him enlisting because he pretty much came with that purpose already installed and there was never really any question-he was made for this!! Thank you so much for sharing your experience and thank you again for your sacrifice! Being away from your family and under that kind of pressure and stress is definitely a sacrifice and we couldn’t be more grateful!! God bless you and your family sir.

My late father lived in a house with a "cat" entity. A neighbour would say, "You nearly tripped over your cat." My grandmother would say, "We don't have a cat, it is a ghost."
My father saw it through the living room door, walking past.

it’s demons, not ghosts that are notorious liars…. Ghosts represent human spirits, demons are fallen angels, inter dimensional creatures , are some titles given to certain entities in order to know how to deal with them….🙀👍🫶

Peter has a relaxing voice. And I’m almost 50, so I’ve been through a lot of scary stuff in five decades. Its more of a startle response, tbh, but about the only thing that scares me now is when someone sneaks up on me.
And cockroaches. Those demon bugs can go straight back to hell where they came from.

Like the other 2, you have so far produced reliably new information that is not simply repeating some other channel's hard work and research, but very much your own. Hello Peter, I enjoyed all these strange stories. The animalistic entities seem to add some deeper level of “wrongness “ to the story. Abbey House is perhaps the most disturbing for me personally. Manifesting as both nuns and animals and especially drawn to the helpless children invokes a deep dread and fear for their safety. Yet, no physical harm came of these encounters. Gyp Farm puzzles me. I could understand why it would be haunted. The horrid visions and terrifying sounds are beyond my ability to explain them away. Humans have an innate fear of what resides in the dark. We think that with civilization we no longer need to fear the unknown. But, as we experience the sudden and unexpected, we learn that we are never safe from the unknown. ❤

It’s interesting that you had fears about the stairs when you were a child. I was afraid of going down the stairs as a child. I often thought that some being was standing at the top of the stairs behind me and would throw a knife into my back. Needless to say I would charge down the stairs as fast as I could and be relieved when I got back into the living room where my parents were. I grew up in Newcastle upon Tyne. I love your channel, please keep the great stories coming.

Peter, your spine-chilling tales of inhuman spirits had me gripping the edges of my seat! That story about the Stein family's encounter with the shape-shifting entity gave me goosebumps. I couldn't help but imagine a ghostly crab scuttling across my ceiling at night - thanks for the new nightmare fuel! 😱🦀
But seriously, the way you weave these obscure historical accounts together is masterful. The jib Farm incident with those horrifying pig-like creatures digging up graves? Absolutely terrifying and bizarre. It's refreshing to explore these lesser-known, truly strange paranormal encounters that don't fit neatly into the typical ghost story mold.
Your narration style really brings these eerie tales to life. I felt like I was right there with the families, hearing those appalling shrieks and seeing those unsettling apparitions. The image of Wolfie, the giant hare-like creature striding around on its hind legs, is going to haunt my dreams tonight!
One question though - have you ever considered the possibility that some of these entities might be interdimensional beings rather than traditional ghosts? The way they seem to defy our understanding of physics and reality makes me wonder if we're dealing with something even stranger than restless spirits.

Interesting memory from your childhood Peter. I used to have a fear of something sitting on the top step of the stairs when I was downstairs. Something not good.
I always watch. I always do "Uncanny" but you are so much better on your own. It's all straight story. Love it. BTW, the experience you had as a child was something similar to what my Dad, sister and our cats felt at our family home growing up. My brother, my mum and I did not not feel anything like that at all.

Peter Laws, you are my MOST favorite channel and narrator ever! These stories are very creepy, especially the one of the man barking at the trucker. That was horrifying and another reason not to ever park in an empty lot in the middle of nowhere! Thanks for creeping me out on a boring Labor Day weekend. No one to spend the holiday with me and sitting here alone in the heat of Texas as summer winds down.

That's interesting about the big rabbit because my son claims to have seen a man sized bird man, all black... He was 17 at the time. I believe him as I know these things are very real. Also he has never been one to lie or be delusional or seek attention in those manners. I was surprised he even told me because if anything he would be the type to convince himself he's imagining it....

Those are good omens. Come from way back in Egyptian times. They were once very real on Earth. He may be a spirit guide to your son or apart of his spirit family.

I KNOW that is not an accurate number, just the result of lazy fingers..the "cat walking on it's hind legs" imagery struck me as particularly horrid-I currently have "caught " my dog doing this twice. I hope that I purely imagine a sheepish, guilty look about her immediately after being caught and dropping to all fours, then partaking in very doggish activity....hmmm..

These creatures both fascinate and horrify me. I once had an encounter with a pair of large chicken legs retreating into the wheel-well of my other half's car. It was published in Fortean Times, as it happens! It's so weird; I've never heard anything like it. Maybe one day I'll hear of another encounter with the chicken legs entity... Keep up the good work, Rev Peter!

This episode seriously gave me the 'eebie geebies ', . Mind you always haf an interest in ghosts that take on weird forms especially animals. Reminds me of 'Jeff the talking mongoose'.
Oh my goodness, how bizarre. It makes you wonder if some of these creatures come from a parallel world or time like the demon pigs digging at the graves but no sign they'd ever touched the earth. Terrifying is an understatement!

As a child I remember having a dream that I was in bed, looking out into the poorly lit corridor, and one of the "monster munch" monsters (the big gangly one with the huge mouth) walked down the corridor, looked at me, and then continued on. I can still picture it in my minds eye, really disturbing to me at the time, but so utterly ridiculous when I try to explain it out loud. Your "cat on hind legs" reminded me.
@@Seraphim91 have you ever encountered a Maine Coon? They are very large and creepy AF. They have a face and eyes that pierce your soul. They have been photographed in some spooky ass ways. Google them. You'll see what I mean.
