hello, a great book could be stories from others...my mom sufferred to the very end. it was extremely sad beyond words. she didn't like me but did love me. some people said that being with someone who was dying was a beautiful thing. i think they were on some kindod acid trip because i saw horrible pain froma woman, my mother, who had a life full of betrayals and pain. none of her life in its full span had joy, even in death she experienced pain. as one of her caregivers i did the best i could and hoped and prayed for her to have one moment of peace before her last breath. i appreciated your truth and honesty that you shared with the world how brave you are and an inspiration. you were thoughtful and loving. i am sure your father had peace and even though it was apparent to you that he wanted to really live, as my mother did, he was beyond proud to have you next to his side throughout to his end. my condonlences to you and your mother as you continue to work through this life changing experience. i wish for you both, healing and future lives of happiness making memories to share with each other.

I lost my husband in 2017 to glioblastoma. They operated taking as much of the tumor out as possible, but he was then paralysed down the left side of his body. He was then sent to a stroke unit & went through rehabilitation. This i didnt understand when he had been given 3 to 6 months to live. There's so much more of what he went through. I still havent come to terms with the way he died. I sold our house not long after i just couldnt cope. Ive been on antidepressants which didnt help & im still having nightmares. I was a confident driver & ive had to give up because my nerves are so bad. I dont sleep very well & if i do get a few hours my body clock still wakes at 4 in the morning, which was the time i used to leave my husband at the care home to drive back to look after the animals. I gave up my job & our rental business. Ive not been able to function im just not the same person. I feel so guilty that i couldn't cope with him at home. I just couldn't lift him & had no help. I did help out at the care home with his personal care as much as i could. But i still feel i should of done more. My heart goes out to everyone thats suffering this horrible disease & to all the care givers ❤

Those seizure meds may have been part of why he started expressing that he wanted to give up; all of them have a black-box warning specifically because of that side effect. You put it best when you said that it felt like watching an animal in a cage. The cancer and its treatments both took your dad from you before he passed. Regardless of how you view it, I'm very sorry for everyone involved and I hope that you're doing better today than you were when this and the follow-up video were posted. 🫂

Actually, Ipad are good for just focusing in one task, with as little juggling between apps as possible. For example, a webtoon creator handling the creation process on a single machine (ipad Pro 1tb), is a fine scenario. A writer using Scribener, for example, may find some constraints in the same Ipad, but may find that inmediate accesibility a boon to maintain a focused workflow. A fully fledged PC still reigns king for long tirades of work, but for many creative people, mobility, ubiquity and ease of "in and out" of these Ipads, is a very welcome change of pace. The caveat: steeep prices, and a walled (paid) garden of apps. Apple doesn't pull punches in that regard.

People need to do some research on Fenbendazole is has cure Glioblastoma. After I've research this I would sure give it a go. Limited side effects not like chemo. Which I've had put I know that have died from this horrid cancer they all did chemo. Also diet change is 100% important veggie juice etc.., There is a good website Chris beat cancer org has a wonderful story of survival. I only know about Fenbendazole for a couple of years now but it can sure shine a new ray of hope for many as can be use with Chemo.

Lost my mom to stomach cancer 18 years ago. I'm 44 now (was 25 when she died) and I still have horrid memories of what she went through for 10 months. I remember the day she was diagnosed (stage 4) and she was asking me for the prosnosis. I couldn't tell her it was less than 20% survival rate. What shocked me was her unbelievable willingness to fight until the very end. She was on chemo which may have increased her lifespan a little bit but certainly didn't increase her quality of life. Eventually the cancer metastisized pretty much everywhere ,liver, lungs, brain, and she fell into a coma 1 day after her birthday. I remember the deep breaths she would take which sounds like she was in pain, even though she was unconscious. But the nurses assured me she wasn't in pain at that time. It is as just the fluid building up in her lungs they said that made it sound like she was gasping for her last breathe constantly. Anyway, she was a warrior, just like your father just for having the will to go on for that long. My mom was a strong woman (6'1 over 200 lbs), which her slowly decinegrate into nothing was the hardest thing I ever witnessed. I honestly would hang myself if I had to go through what she did. I'm not scared of death but I am scared of dying of certain cancers, my mom's and your dad's being 2 of them. But anyway, thanks for the video

My husband was 46 when he passed from Glioblastoma Multiform. Happened in 2005. Over 20 years of his life he battled 3 brain tumors. The first two were astrocytomas. The glioblastoma diagnosis left us shattered. It was hard being his caregiver. Hospice helped me and he died at home. That’s what he wanted. Very sad way to watch a loved one die from this. He lived 7 months after diagnosis. We travelled everywhere, no treatment worked.

Two notes from a perspective of someone, who considered buying one: 1) It's the only modern laptop with a swivel screen at current market. The other one, which can be considered an alternative is a 5 year old Fujitsu T939. There is nothing between. 2) Since this lacks pretty much every needed port (USB A, HDMI/DP, LAN port), I went to the older Fujitsu, which has everything. To be honest, I don't give a .... about the e-ink, I was just looking for a service laptop, which has a swivel screen. Why? Because when you work outside, the "flip over" variant keeps the keyboard exposed, rather than hidden under the screen. Try to place it somewhere in the engine bay of a 20 year old car while working. You will end up either with filthy keyboard or you spend 30 minutes cleaning it every single time. With swivel screen, you clean the flat bottom of your laptop with a rag in 2 seconds and one swipe. To be honest, I was really disappointed, when they released the final version. Expecially the absence of the most basic ports closes doors to more practical use cases outdoors. Not everything is wireless today and most diagnostic HW still uses USB A for example.

Glioblastoma is one of the cruelest cancers. My aunt was an Evangelical Christian, only worth noting because she had 9 children because of her beliefs. Two months after the birth of her 9th child, she had a horrible headache she thought was just an intense migraine, but her husband took her to the ER anyway. Turns out it was glioblastoma. She died less than a year after her diagnosis. I remember visiting her in hospice shortly before her death with a few of her older kids. She was struggling to remember her kids. Her death sent her husband and children into a tailspin from which they’ve never fully recovered. She was 40. Rest in peace, Michele.

Well done. My husband died from Glioblastoma multiforme 14 years ago, and his son and I cared for him the entire time, with the exception of some hospital stays. To say it was a wild, but also numbing ride, would be an understatement. He lived just 16 weeks from diagnosis until death. Just 16 weeks. Long enough to get things in order, but no time to catch your breath. And my husband was an awesomely intellectual man, which I’m sure made it worse for him. Just about up to a week before he died, he was pretty damn aware of things. He couldn’t express in words what he needed to, but he still understood us. Well, I can’t rehash 16 weeks in a few paragraphs, nor will I try. But I want to say to you that you most likely did an amazing job with your dad, and don’t ever shy away from the feelings it might generate. If there were shortcomings, it doesn’t make you public enemy number 1. Though I’m guessing there weren’t many. Always remember that God, or the powers that be, or whatever else runs this show, let you be apart of something big. Really, not many people get to do all of those “last things” with a person, knowing that those are truly the last things. And you are right- most people make the jump to Hospice a bit too late. Bless those people!! And bless you, too. Be good to yourself.
