Norwegian Jaguar club annual summer meeting held in Trondheim this year. We stayed at Britannia Hotel in Trondheim sentrum. The world's most Northern 5 star hotel. At the city center we displayed 110 Jaguar's and we had a driveout around Byneset witch has nice little roads and scenery by the sea near Trondheim.

    Stock engine looks to have terrible low end torque. The new FI system looks amazing.

    Problem with the VVT Locking Pin. Have the Same Problem by the RR Vogue 4.4 AJV8 Engine. Also With a used part and New chain kit. Only two New VVT Gears solve it (per gear around 500€)

      This is a 1985 model so it has the TH400, but yes, it is original th400 transmission.

      This is specially made for the Jaguar with fittings, brackets, sensors, harness, injectors and ecu map to fit the Jaguar V12.

      @@mobeck_tekniske was going to get the intake made c&c $7000 .00 bask when it was 3 acts now it's a 5 and buy two down draft set from speedmaster injection then get helltec in Australia build me the harness and ecm did buy a harmonic balancer to use coils

    Great video and beautiful car brotha! But try to keep the audio for inside the cabin and the rear view separate if you can, it gets a bit confusing trying to hear the noise of the engine while getting two different sound perspectives, otherwise awesome!

    If you're able, what exactly has your team done to the V12 to make it produce these numbers? Was anything exotic like making a billet block, forged internals or something like that required or is this off of a mostly stock Jag V12 block with like a new ECU, exhaust, intake clean up, I am assuming some mild cams, and a tune? Is there anything more specifically done if you're able to let me know? I have done some work on my Jag XJS V12, work being a decent intake manifold port and polish, bored open 70mm TB's which I'll be doing quad 70mm TB's soon, full straight pipe 2.5" I.D exhaust into 3" X pipe 3/4 way down the car back out to dual exhaust and over axles into kind of open flow mufflers, fuel pressure regulator, all emissions and unneeded components that weren't needed in the basic start up and running of the car was removed, ~85amp alternator, A/C delete, dual 3k CFM electronic fans, and some other things. I am going to be getting your ECU and DIS system, potentially some "race spec" cams from Rob Beere Racing UK, reverse flow for the cooling and couple other things down the line, would love your input to optimize what I have done and anything you think is important that should/shouldn't be done. Thank you very much in advance!

    Ole, incredible work. Great work.. i spoke to you on the once.. if you remember my sons 86 xjs is complete restomod, will be installing headers and quad throttles valves (like Lister).. installed 2-1/2" ss exhaust.. louvers on the hood, cold air from from feeder hoses at the front.. do you have any numbers before and after.. also can we use the supplied TPS sensor onto the new throttle shaft we will be making? Thank you and keep up the great engineering..

    I love the kit, does it come with schematics and instructions? I have an 87 XJS, and im just getting into car mechanics. I'm taking it apart and changing the cooling system, but i'd love to convert the ignition to your system. Question about the battery...mine is in the boot, can I just cut and extend the power line?

    Hi Ole, I have a 91 dd6 series 3 and have injector issues. As I need to repair it I’m looking at your whole kit. I wonder how it will affect the engine/ performances? Better reliability (which is already fine) Better fuel consumption? (This is what I.d be looking for😆) More power/torque? Thanks for your good work! Mat

      Mat, well, the kit does not make your engine breathe better, witch is nessesary to make more power. But at least it does the correct things with the air that gets in mixturewise. And injectors are better and probably the acc enritchement a bit more agressive. Customer report response is much better. Also I had a original 85 5.3 witch did 0-100 in 6.2 sec so it will not be slower for shure. And you can also adjust the map later to meet gofast mods if you want.

    Do 24-1trigger wheel ideal for hi revving V12 engine?

      It does the job real good. You have to match it with the capability of the sensor and the prosessor speed of the ecu. I run this easily up to 7000 rpm, have not had the need for more yet on street engines.

    Takk Ole, fint video. I have a 1991 Double Six with a Marelli (replacement) engine and am toying with the idea of starting using it as my daily driver (and getting rid of the X350 2.7d). My previous V12 was also a '91 DD6 and had the AJ6 Engineering upgrades applied (ECU, air boxes, intake manifolds and larger throttle bodies). I'm now living in Scotland, where would be the best place to get in touch to discuss options?

    Fantastic kit! Thanks for making this video. I'm currently rebuilding a 1976 Pre HE V12 and this kit looks like the best way to improve things. Is the fuel injection full sequential?

      Hi Jeff Thanks for your interest in my kit. For your pre HE you need the distributorless system as the original pre HE distributor are not so good. It is not fullt sequential as the engines does not have a CAM sensor, but I fire the injectors two and two instead of the original 3 and 3. There are no benefit regarding horsepower or drivability with fully sequential injection. I have tested it. And the map in the ecu are OpenOffice so you can adjust it to future mods

      @@sumporfuk well yes. You can get a smoother ille with sequential injection. But then again on a 12 cylinder the Idle is no problem anyway

    Pro's, less heat means less distortion, not likely to blow holes in thin sheet metal, never rust. Con's, not as strong as a steel weld, more expensive wire, requires 100% argon, special wire feed rollers and liners. If you are doing a decent amount of thin metal work it may be worth it but not for small amounts of work.

    It is not copper wire people, copper would not work. What he is using is Silicon Bronze wire, got it? Silicon Bronze, very strong, less heat but just as strong as mig steel wire. It is used by the Jaguar car assembly plant in the UK, and by panel beaters working on late model car panels. You can't successfully weld the modern high tensile car panels by conventional mig so in comes silicon bronze.End of lesson.

    What modifications where made to the standard 5.3 L engine to get that power? Is it Turbocharged?

      No turbo here.. naturally aspirated only, power come from lot of correct work regarding port flow, camchoise, compression, manifold tuning and close attension to all spesifications and making everything work together correctly
