Do these waive warranty?
Depends on the dealership. If concerned, then I’d reach out and ask them
wonder how much more or less a 4dr Bronco would achieve?
Not very far behind. In fact, the longer wheelbase may be a benefit when launching
Put me in line
It’s gonna be a few months
@@fullspeedfordbroncoyou have any idea when you’ll be able to tune without sending ecu out to unlock I currently just have jb4
I’m slowly breaking in my Ranger with this 2.7 Nano v6. It’s truly amazing! I’ve studied this platform a while now and I have 5k miles on my 2024 XLT Ranger and basically everything will work (parts you listed) except the downpipes/exhaust. I’m pretty sure the f150 will work for that part of my build. I’ve been running nothing but premium (91) octane and changing oils every 3k so another 1k and I’ll do the second change. I havnt put my foot down more than half way yet and the one time I did, it blew the tires off and went sideways. I’m super excited for the future and my Ranger! Gonna be fast…
Awesome truck! The 2.7 is an overlooked beast. Enjoy it!
I had a question about how to maximize the performance on my 2023 BL Sasquatch 2.3L. I have done a Procal Tune added the K&N dry filter added a FM high clearance Outlaw exhaust, I also have the Peddle Commander. I wanted your opinion on some other options that I should or could consider. My rig is on 74 weld portals and 38s MT.
You’ve done a lot of what’s available right now. When custom tuning open up for the 2.3 you’ll have a lot more options, including a larger turbo. For a quick 15-20 HP you could add some E85 to get an E30 mix. The Ford tune will adjust accordingly
@@fullspeedfordbronco okay I was looking a full CAI setup for 2.3L not sure if it would make that much of a difference, also looking at CPE inner cooler. I was considering the throttle body mod. Of those options I just don’t know what would be the best bang for my buck? Thoughts.
@@callsign.iceman7913Sorry, for the half assed response. For some reason I thought you already had an Intercooler. An aftermarket intercooler is a must have. If you can wait 2-3 months CVF will have their high mount model available. It has 95% more core volume than stock and is the biggest you can fit in a Bronco. If you plan to tune and upgrade the turbo down the road then don’t skimp on the IC. I just swapped mine out with the CVF high mount prototype and difference in IAT2 temps thus far has been big vs. their FMIC offering. An intake would yield some gains over just the high flow air filter, so that’s something to think about. A ported TB will add better throttle response, but not much in the way of power. That said, GPE will be adding a ported 2.3 intake to their catalog soon. That would be worth it once it’s released.
@@fullspeedfordbronco thanks for the solid intel. I’m not in a super big hurry I just wanted to get a bit of a game plan together for my next build phase which is more engine & performance based.
Absolutely. In the future I do plan to add more content around the 2.3 and 3.0. Though I can’t test it, I can at least keep people informed
$4400 for turbos is pretty crazy 😳
Not cheap 😅
Wow
That’s impressive!!!
hows the drive train holding up
Funny you mention it. Making lots of noises. Just replaced the front driveshaft, which has been squeaking. I’ll let you know if that fixes some of the noise.
Great numbers!!!
What kind of mpg do you get with the mods
On 93 16 mpg and E85 13 mpg
This exhaust is paired with a CVF downpipe.
who tuned it
ZFG Racing
Good run!!!
Almost into 3's 0 to 60 wow that's crazy fast
We’ll get there this year 💪
Hey brother did you have any trouble with sealing any of the clamps? For some reason none of my pipes would seat together properly.
Hmmm…that’s strange. I didn’t have any issues with the flanges lining up and using the v-band clamps. Might wanna reach out to CVF to see if they can help.
How long did it take to install it?
About an hour and half. Normally it would’ve have taken me a little bit longer, but I had the experience putting on the ported manifold first
amazing... I did the ford performance tune and it feels like a 5.5 sec car. I dont have a draggy or anything. Im just happy it puts a smile on my face. FYI for people calling it slow, its not meant to be a sports car. It can go over rocks and mud.. Normally you can not have both speed and off road capabilities.
Compared to today’s sports cars it is slow, but I couldn’t care less. It’s fun as hell. I’ve jumped it, crawled big ass rocks, and driven it through 30” of water AND it runs 12’s in the 1/4 mile. Jack of all trades 💪 Oh, and it’s a convertible and I can take the doors off whenever I want. What’s not to love??
Does the procal remove the speed limiter
Unfortunately it does not
@fullspeedfordbronco ok thanks for the info
Wow, you can hit the accelerator. Good job bud.
Where would I be without all of your support… 😂
Moovvvinnnnn 😂
I figured you'd be in the 12's by now
😊 not with 93. Wanted to share some 93 runs, since it’s a fuel that more people use
pretty quick
does this add speed
It does at some power, but not a lot.
GREAT JOB ON THE VIDEO!!!! YOUR THE ONLY GUY THAT HAS PUT MORE ENGINE MODS THAN ME!
What’s in it?
2.7L Ecoboost V6 - Full bolt on and E85 tune.
Hey there: love the channel, and you’ve definitely inspired me to start exploring these performance options. I currently have the ford performance tune-in your opinion, do you think that injen intakes/intercooler pipes/intercooler and gpe combo in conjunction with this tune will provide a noticeable (or even close to advertised- I’m am usually skeptical though) performance gain? Or do you think I’d need a more aggressive tune, and it would be better to invest elsewhere outside of these three? I’d prefer to keep the ford tune if possible For reference: I don’t think I want to move quite as quick as you do-getting something like a 4.9 second 0-60 in my bronco is plenty given some other equipment I have on it. But a little more highway passing power would be much appreciated Thank you for your feedback :)
Thanks! Sorry, but not sorry to give you the more performance bug 😁 Getting your Bronco sub 5 sec 0-60 will require a custom tune or stacking a piggy pack module on top of the Ford Tune, the latter I don’t recommend long term. Intake, Intercooler and exhaust is where I would start. Decide if you’re good with the performance. If not, then add the other bolt ons. Also, A cheap way to add 20 HP is by mixing E85 and 93 to make an E30 blend. The ECU will automatically adjust for it.
@ hahah don’t be sorry! Do you have a custom tune that you reccomend with the ford tune? I’d like to try to be reliability and safety minded to reduce the likelihood of causing damage to the engine if possible. Sadly, it’s a bit hard to find 93 in Cali. Do you envision a custom tune + your intercooler/intake/exhaust recommendation giving that <5 second performance Thanks again for all of your help!
@@broth756Hmm..with 91 being the only option then a custom tune is the only truly safe thing I can recommend. ZFG Racing is your best bet if you want to get close to under 5 seconds 0-60. That said. the bolt ons I mentioned in combination with the Ford Tune will make the Bronco a lot more fun to drive on 91 octane. Thinking you should hit 0-60 in the mid 5 sec range on 91 with those bolt ons. Keep in mind the 0-60 estimates I’m sharing are based on a stock weight Bronco Sasquatch.
@@fullspeedfordbronco I have reply if you’re able to answer and then I’ll bow out for now until the next video With the procal, would you reccomend installing both? Or should I remove the procal and just use the zfg? Zfg racings website seems to imply that I may be able to use fords’ calibration tool-but I could be misreading it. I’ll be sure to grab through intercooler and intake first and work on the rest!
@@broth756No worries. You can still use the ProCal device to monitor PIDs, pull logs and more, but the tune itself will no longer be used. I still use my ProCal to this day, but just for monitoring temps and whatnot. I plan to do a build update video soon. Also, an intercooler is a must before you custom tune. I’m actually working with CVF on a new larger intercooler that’s almost double the surface area as the stock one. Should be available in the next few months. I plan to install it in the next few weeks.
How did you get it to do a burnout? 😅 Took the traction control off or something?
Yes and adding over 100 HP
You require premium fuel for any of these options right?
@@refused1 Yes, it’s recommended if you want the gains. If you put 87 octane in, it will still drive fine, but there will be little to no gains.
Pretty good man. My ford performance tuned bronco Raptor does 8.6 @80 mph
Nice! Best 1/8th mile I’ve run was an 8.0 at 84 MPH
I can't help to laugh, performance upgrades on a 2.3L? So for perspective the 2.3L is 140 cubic inches, while a small block chevy is 350Cu/in.
Where you been, man? These little turbo motors are putting out more HP/TQ than V8s of yesteryear. Plenty of options out there to make them output more.
How many miles do you have on that bronco?
Almost 40K
Love your videos, very well done! In my understanding, manifold spacers such as these are primarily wave tuning devices, i.e. they increase the distance between the back of the intake valves and the throttle plate (or intake entrance at WOT) on a naturally aspirated engine. In the turbo world, I assume they really only have an effect when there is no positive pressure in the intake tract so theoretically, they should improve off-idle torque before you get into boost and by the sound of it, that's what you experienced too. I also have the CVF pipes/IC and Injen intake, did you have any other fitment issues besides the bolt with those parts after installing the manifold spacers and was there any port mismatch between the manifold spacer and the heads/manifold? Thanks!
Yes, it definitely improved throttle response and off-idle torque. No issues with the install or any port mismatch with the same mods. Appreciate you checking out the video 👍🏻
I just got a badlands with the 2.7. Also got an extended warranty past the Ford 3 year. Does any of the mods you mention in your video void the warranty?
Ford ProCal if you have an ASE certified tech install. Everything else could be a potential issue, but it depends on your dealership.
Thats awesome. What were all the mods to achieve this?

@@bradleyzufall3124Pulsar XT for the most performance. JB4 could be number #1, but I had too many issues with mine.
How much boost are you running with the ZFG tune?
24-25 PSI with the OEM turbos
@ I’m looking at doing a similar build to yours so your advice/input is appreciated brother! I want a safe tune within what the 2.7L can handle in case I ever have to daily it lol I’m about to install my cat back exhaust and CAI. I have my Injen intercooler pipes but want to install it at the same time as the high mount intercooler I still need. Got the IAG AOS and Turbosmart BOV as well as the JB4 but I can still only run map 3 until I get all of the bolt ons and eventually get the ZFG tune
Awesome. I wouldn’t worry about the 2.7L handling it. Stock turbos ain’t gonna blow the motor as it can handle a lot more. Just be sure to change the oil and other fluids more frequently. I’ve got all the bolt on videos on my channel, so feel free to check them out. Also, my username on the Bronco6G forums is MWILD. Feel free to ping me.
is a tune needed to run any/both these modes?
No tune needed!
Any difference with the boomba spacer?
@@LeeWilliams-bw3grYes, I did a video on it. The Boomba adds more power at WOT, while the GPE ported products can be felt everywhere
Awesome thanks man. About to order cvf downpipes and charge pipes. Looking at the Cobb intercooler. I’ve already got the pulsar, a borla cat back and injen intake. Your video’s have been great help. I’ll have to look at the boom a spacers when I pull the trigger on the ported intake and manifold
Any chance you have contact info for gigs besides through eBay messaging? I can’t seem to find anything online.

Fantastic sleeper block to block, and I bet overtaking times have come WAY down !!
Thanks and yes it has. People don’t expect a 5K brick to move that fast in traffic 😂
it's a shame that the didn't put provisions for port injection in the manifold spacer
No need for the 2.7L. It has dual injection from the factory
@@fullspeedfordbronco 3.0 doesn't
Yep, it’s a damn shame. Though I don’t think this spacer will work with a 3.0 intake manifold
Is your bronco on a 2 inch lift and 35 inch tires? Thats the build im after as well, great looking bronco man
Yes sir. Thank you!
So you can run E85 with the 2.7L with just the ZFG tune? No other mods needed? I plan on upgrading my intercooler to the Cobb one eventually as well as charge and down pipes and an exhaust. Just installed the JB4 though so idk how that would work with the ZFG tune as well
@@Sebastiano1394 Yes, that’s all you need, though I’d wait to tune it after you get all the mods you want installed. The JB4 won’t be useful after the custom tune
So your tune is for E85 correct? You don’t have to mod anything to your fueling to run it? A buddy of mine was mentioning fuel injectors and a high pressure fuel pump
@@Sebastiano1394correct. The 2.7L in the Bronco has dual injection so no fuel modifications are needed
@ Cool, so do you run e85 or a blend? I have the JB4 currently but want to go with the ZFG tune eventually
Straight E85. No blend
I have a 2021 Badlands with 2.7 with 15k miles. I’ve noticed recently that when a drive it hard I get a burning smell inside the cabin! Anyone?
@@ramonahumada4 Doesn’t sound normal. I’d take it to the dealership if you’re concerned
Good stuff!
Stop wasting your time with these type mods.... Go this route! Lol ruclips.net/video/QWxgrbsWrR8/видео.htmlsi=PWSBF3lTYLECK97z
All company's claim added power. Like intakes. Which on the modern vehicles so nothing. The 2021+ F-150 intake and Vw Gti intake are good for 525 hp. These are just a couple platforms I've been apart of that have been tested. As far as mpgs go, it's all calibrated on the tune. Nothing will make that better unless the tune leans it out. Most boltons now days are just placebo affect. As far as w/m goes on a 2.7, Livernois says you need to run it directly into the manifold directly. You can't connect before the Tb or in intercooler. My 2 cents from everything I've learned. Always use 3rd party dyno info, not the manufacturers. Obviously
Some good points in there, but I’d argue that bolt ons do add some small gains even on the stock tune. When custom tuned, you should expect to see a bit more. As for the WM injection. The fastest F150 with a 2.7L Ecoboost (owned by Steven Boswell) runs meth and injects via a throttle body spacer. He runs CRP Stage 4 turbos up to 32-34 pounds of boost on a ZFG Racing E85 tune, so it can be done and works well.
My previous 2022 F-150 2.7 Crew cab with just a 91 tune and cvf Titan v2 intercooler on 35's with like 300 lbs of bed accessories dragyd 13.1. I never gotten a chance to dragy the E85 tune (my toy tow vehicle mostly) but the E85 tune was insane! I bet I could have easily ran low 12's. The Bronco doesn't dyno anywhere near what the F-150 does. Most were making 475whp on just the E85 tune alone. 🤔
@@YtRando69Good point. I assume it’s drivetrain and tire related? I think with some low profile tires I would see a 30 HP jump on the dyno. I may have to try that out when I go back. I should be around 420 HP at the wheels with the 35’s and stock turbos with all the extra mods. With just the E85 tune, exhaust, FMIC, and intake I dyno’d at 400 WHP /482WTQ. Also the 4:70 gears help it 0-60, but kill it after that
thanks for the video. like the manifold spacer idea. creates a long runner manifold and the porting looks spot on. would like to the vacuum/pressure pulse before and after.
Thanks, and I’ll get right on it 😄
To fast for a bronco.
I’m just getting started 😁
