That tippman stormer is like a shotgun. Dont expect to hit anything more than 15 feet out. 😂😂
Keep your barrel clean, and shoot good paint like Valken Graffiti!
Things has changed
Yes they have. Marcello did spend 10 seasons with Dynasty though. We wish him the best for 2025 and onward!
@BFPGear of course best thing for him .
I see that it is better to buy an older paintball gun where they had a wider range of choice, even 30 balls per second, more options, more choice and you show something that the old Spyder would do the trick. Equipment priced at $1,400-1,700 is a joke and a disgrace for people who started their adventure in 1997 and spent a lot of money on equipment that guaranteed 30+ pellets without cutting. And they had the options of freedom or tournament ban. Thanks, you just proved that Platnet Eclipse is stupid. DYE also does the same thing, they produce the same thing and cut it, and they themselves harm the Paintball environment. I remember when SP Ion had more shares and was much cheaper $180 xD You know it well and there will be fewer and fewer people because older people are playing on PB and I don't see any young people. They can choose from equipment ranging from $1,000 to more. Aaah, you pissed me off!
Glad you sat through the whole video, but if it makes you this upset, you don't have to stick around. The issue with older equipment is that it's used, parts are hard to come by, and warranties expire. As for the range of price for equipment, yes it has gotten more expensive, but what hasn't? Just like with EVERY hobby, it's as expensive as you want to make it. Ultimately, if you're happy with your old Smart Parts Ion, auto cocker, Spyder, etc. no one is going to stop you from using those. Lastly, young people ARE playing paintball. We've seen a massive surge of kids and teenagers getting out there and playing. The future looks good and bright for paintball, but if you want to be pessimistic, I'd recommend to go to a different channel.
@@BFPGear I’m not being pessimistic; I’m just stating facts. I’ve traveled the world, attended events like the World Cup, and I live in Europe. I know the beginnings of paintball very well and deeply appreciate legends like Bob Long, WDP Angels, Cockers, and Shockers, early PE e-blades that changed the game. I started with a Tippmann 98 (not even the Custom) and learned through trial and error. What I wrote about modern markers and their limitations is based on reality. Pricing these at $1,700 is absurd, and you’re promoting equipment that, in your opinion, is the "best of the best" but only shoots 10 balls per second. Let’s not forget the older markers-those with a dozen modes, incredible BPS, and customizable boards that made the sport thrilling. Remember the fun of overshooting and the hype it created? That was part of what made brands like DYE, DerDer.... These markers could shoot 30 balls per second flawlessly, then 20, then 15-and now we’re stuck at a paintball "autism" of 10 BPS. Even an old Tippmann could handle that speed back in the day, and people laughed at how basic those markers were. Now, you normalize mediocrity and call it a standard. $1,700 for 10 BPS? Processors on modern boards are slower than those from 15 years ago when Atmega chips were just emerging, and people had fun with DIY cheats and hacks. That’s where the joy and innovation were. You should criticize the industry for this, not defend it. Have some integrity! And yes, the player base is much smaller now than it was a decade ago. Look around, most "pro" paintball players today are over 40, probably 70% of them. Even you’re pushing 40, my friend. The glory days of paintball were something else: women going topless, wild shows, and an overall electrifying energy. That’s all gone now, and we’re left with a sanitized, diminished version of the sport we loved.
People still play paintball? It's been a minute since I've last played, but as I remember, all these manufacturers started putting out markers that looked the same. Doesn't look like that's changed.
Of course people still paintball. There are quite a few markers that do look alike, sure, but how they operate and perform are all different.
Ur still playing? Shit I saw u in KC years ago. Like 2009 bro. Good to see u doing well man. Heck yeah. God I miss playing
Seems like just a lot of quality of life updates really. Bolt with the hand crank option is REALLY nice, bigger switch for the air tank valve, better trigger, three piece barrel. Not a whole lot different than the RIZE but these updates are awesome.
I played in the early 2000’s it’s amazing to see markers like this now. Had the original shocker, evil omen and an Angel. This new stuff just isn’t as fun as is used to be.
Keep the Macroline forever !!! ⚡️
Missed Macroline opportunity. And just some minor updates that were missed like the soft tip bolt and ASA. Maybe they are saving that for CZR2 when ever it comes out
This is great!
So this is good for both woods and speedball. I was looking at the GSI mini which one is less maintenance overall less problems better in the long run. Is this the empir?
The Mini GS and Empire Axe 2.0 are both made by Empire paintball and require the same amount of maintenance! Both of these paintball guns operate exactly the same, but the Axe 2.0 has an easy removal bolt, is quieter, more efficient, and smoother.
@ I just got myself a one year-old used empire 2.0 with an empire hopper mask, harness pods and I forget which tank for 400
Great content!
Great walk through for the sad people (like me) that can't make it
It's okay. Sam is sad about not going too.
Sick!
I feel like it is worth mentioning, that you are on equal ground to compete with anyone in the world with the "mid grade". You can have a ton of fun with entry level, but you become objectively more competitive when upgrading to "mid level" (and some used older high-end markers too). If money isn't an issue you might skip the "mid level" and focus on feature value and realize that tournament grade maybe isn't going to be noticeable but if money is an issue and being competitive is a significant priority the right style/brand of "mid grade" is all you need.
This is a really solid take on the different levels and styles of paintball markers available.
You never swim in the same river twice, yet somehow Dynasty has been Dynasty through 3 decades.
Truer words have never been spoken.
I can always tell when it took a hard bounce… it hurts twice as bad😂
YES. I'd rather it break than bounce off of me!
Everthing that planet Builds is awsome, I am using Parts since the early 90 th for my Automag, later i bought a 97 Sidefeed mech Cocker, than an Impuls, a Ego 5, 7,8, an LV1-1.6, a Geo 3.5, 4.0 and a LV2, all have the typical Planet Eclipse Quality, they just rock
100$&$
👍👍
Keep up the content💪🏼 love the reviews 💯
Empire did a great job with this one.
Paintball, 500 shots, 1 hit...
Accuracy through quantity!
It lubricant
I`ve got several Planet Eclipse Markers , But THIS , How it fits in the hand and the wonderful trigger to pull, Put a Micro Barrel on this ERA and I Believe This is Better than Planet Eclipse , The only people that don`t know what I`m talking about are the people that has Never Handled it, > YES > Get the Shocker ERA and see for yourself !!
PREACH!

Kudos from Germany!
Omg man I love this video I have the etha 3 earth black and the tan HK 77pro. I splurged and got the counterpunch reg and spire 5 tan. I figured I would keep those two if I upgrade my guns. God bless you man I love the help❤
Now that is a sick setup! We appreciate you!
@@BFPGearthank you guys! Do you do custom jerseys? I will check you out later I’m out working right now
What are the chances you guys give me a free Empire Mini gs???
About the same as Unicorn sightings

It's a Sexy Gun!!
Poor renters face my wrath!
What paintball gun is this? Tippmann gryphon?
It's a DLX Luxe IDOL.
Nice shoes!
Awesome video!!!!! What we really looking for to see!
God bless you guys I hope to be that good at communicating. Stay safe I hope to see more🎉❤ I love iy
LV2 just needs smaller grips, they are just huge compared to the LV1.6 and older. Perhaps next time you can do the side by side shooting at the end, nothing in depth, just sound sigs and just comments on feel etc.
If you look at *why* the grips are shaped the way they are, this is easier said than done.
How come so much ping? Any way to fix it?
That's just how the marker sounds. That small ping noise isn't a bad thing though.
CS3
We got a vote for the CS3!
😊❤😊❤😊❤😊❤
Excellent review Thank you so much
You're welcome! We appreciate you! <3
Dam good effort
Can't win em all :(
Same old dye problems. Reminding alot like dls issues
What problems? Eye pipe that’s been reinforced and won’t come out like the old ones?
The DLS had way more issues than this beauty.
G6R 2.0
We hope for a G7R one day.
This dude....I hate it when people act like this in paintball lol
Sure, but Thomas has been at this for literal decades. I'd get hyped too! Gotta have that high energy!
@@BFPGear you’re right lol I’d be pretty hyped to 😅
I thought you weren't allowed to touch any of your teammates
As long as you aren't wiping them off I believe!
@@BFPGear yeah I get that but at the tournaments I play at they allow absolutely no touching each other what so ever. Even a small tap or even a high 5 before the buzzer is hit and the player is examined
Would you rank the shot quality between: 1. Mxr 2. Geo r5 3. Luxe Idol Also if you had to purchase one for your first marker which one would you select? Thanks in advance.
If only there was a three sided coin.... The features that all of these markers have are incredible. Whichever one you pick, well....there's simply no wrong answer. My only recommendation is if you're able to shoot each one, do it. Get a feel for them and see what you like!
Mxr vs lv2.
Lv2 way better
@Heathmcree Love my lv2, and lv2 almost as smooth as dsr+ so I woukd like to see comparison
MXR, I just sold my cs3 because it shoots that good
That's a tough one to be honest. I prefer my LV2 because I absolutely love poppet valve markers, and the tunable shot is incredible. The MXR is definitely an impressive paintball marker, but I think comparing these two is unfair. Literal apples to oranges kind of thing. Maybe GEO R5 vs MXR is more comparable, but I still find it unfair. - Sam PS, LV2 FOR LIFE!
💪 nice video Sam
