eventually you'll have to change the foam on the Flex and you'll wonder how, in 2024, are we still gluing foam? Vio Contour/Extend/XS are all super customizable as well and are much, much easier to change a lens on and swap the foam out on. oh, and change the strap. NONE of that is easy on a Flex. everything else was spot on, but boy do i not understand the Cult of Flex. i have one, and i only use it when i play with my best friend who gave it to me. haha.
Flexes aren't for everyone! I will admit, changing any component on the ProFlex can be a bit of a chore, but that's the price we play as Flexheads. The Vio lineup is just stellar across the board, and I'm honestly surprised not many folks talk about them as much. I am curious to see what they're going to do next.
@@BFPGear i had to deal with that in the 90s when i played back then and don't appreciate it now in my 40s. i want something easy to clean when i get home after a day of play. being able to break down my Vios in seconds is a lifesaver.
@@DREKOWICK69 Still can only rehydro at tank 2 times regardless. I think there might be one that has lifetime testing, but can’t remember the name of it.
@@OldGuyPaintball you sure about that? I think that is false, as long as it passes on steel, it's good for 30 years of testings I have spoken with ninja about it as well .I will copy and past the email they sent me on it
@@DREKOWICK69 An aluminum/steel is only about $60, a rehydro is $25+, not to mention a reg rebuild, so it’s just as easy to get a new one. The last one I got stated it had a 15 year testing. This may be a newer thing.
Good video!

Magfed is on the list! :)
steel is real and you get lifetime of testing ability vs the carbon wrapped tanks

@@OldGuyPaintball Thank you for contacting Ninja, Carbon fiber tanks are good for 15 years total and need a hydro test every 5 years.
Alum tanks are good indefinitely, unless they fail hydro. Alum tanks need to be hydro tested every 5 years as well.
Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Take care,
Dalton Kuhlman
