Kinetic Paintball is new to the world of paintball, but they've established themselves with a cult following. With the constant pursuit of minimalist gear that boasts exceptional quality, it's safe to say that Kinetic has established themselves as one of the best brands out there already!
The KMP, or Kinetic Modular Pack, is a 5+4+2 pod pack that is fitted with velcro straps and tightens to fit the user perfectly. These packs are unique in their style as they are fitted to a waist size with little to no tolerance. To put it bluntly, these won't stretch or compress! This means that you need the exact measurement of your waist to find the right size for you, and when it's secured to your body, this paintball harness will not move under any circumstance!
The modular aspect of the harness is unique in its design, allowing you to add straps, sleeves, or even take some away so you can fit the KMP to your play style. In its default configuration, you can carry up to 11 pods, but can ultimately slim down the KMP to carry less pods if you like.
The KMP is also a strapless harness, and easily pods up, or breaks down when you need to. Effortless reloading is always welcome, as you won't need any assistance to reload in between points or to grab your used pods off of the field.

I think the pack remains a 5+4+2 in any configuration. Those straps you mention used to configure the pack, are meant to be looped through the metal bracket as a tensioner when you tighten the main belt, i think. Or i'm wearing mine totally wrong! It says how to set it up with the card that comes with it 👍

I think it adds to the modular ability of this harness. It's extremely impressive and insanely comfortable.

im a 32 waist, should i get small or reg?

I would recommend the Regular size. The small fits me super snug and I'm a 31" waist. - Sam
