I am a big fan of "Citizen Defense Industry." When I explain my interest and testing of radio comms to friends or coworkers, that will be a very useful term.

I think the Trex shooting videos are really hit or miss as far as being relevant, but Trex Labs always hits.

YT app is malfunctioning, so had to log in through a browser for this. If you want to throw a wrench in the powers-that-be and empower the common man, figuring how to manufacture ammunition at home for 3d printed/CNC guns would be the way. Ammunition without the primers and cases we are used to today. That would be the genie that no entities could put back in the bottle.

It would outstanding if you guys had large printers for map creation everything from your standard 8x11 sheet to military style 2x3 foot maps laminated or not color or not this would be an unbelievable resource. Able to choose different styles of maps and different grid systems and scales usgs mgrs 1:25000 and 1:50000 1:24000 it would be awesome.

The only thing that I care about being developed at this point is a step-by-step instructional video on how to CREATE a TAK server(not to join an existing one) and how to add and link various communications devices like ATAK/iTAK/WinTAK with drones, GPS maps, and helmet cameras. Basically, a homemade civilian version of the ATAKMIL plugin that anyone can create themselves without relying on other peoples servers and rules.

After serving 20 years in the military, I can say that top military warriors and units do three things exceptionally well: shoot, move, and communicate. T.REX Labs has done good work translating these three skills to the civilian community. A continued emphasis on these three is required while building the citizen-warrior community and innovating in product development.

Along the lines of the mentioned bounty system, perhaps some sort of small scale grant or "scholarship" (engineering intern?) program for the development of applicants products (of any nature), and the documentation/retrospective of their process. I think this would check all the boxes mentioned towards the end of the video as well: 1) Outsource Direct Product Development - Trex would naturally be a key distributor of the crop they seeded. 2)Business & Industry Development - Allow for more non status quo products to be tested in the market that many legacy companies would never consider; as well as bolster the next generation of the industry via the education and experience gained. 3)Education & Content - Provide tools for ideas to be realized and incentivize the consumer to be an active part of developing the products they want and to become more proficient problem solvers as a whole. They can also document the process or have a debrief so to speak of what they learned along the way from a more layman's perspective. This will help others transition from consumers to producers. This would be more effective if there were partner companies as well willing to lend their manufacturing capabilities on smaller scale programs. Other industries (particularly tech) often issue open ended design challenges, and something similar tailored to the prepared citizen market would be very fascinating.

Gear and guns isn't enough. Perhaps the Trex Range Day app could implement some sort of meet up features to allow like minded prepared citizens to find one another and train. Also, help remove the stigma with state militias.

I have some suggestions/recommendations: 1. Understand needs of customers of the citizen defense industry are best broken up into socioeconomic status. The rich have different needs than middle clas, working class, and poor. If your poor, whether your 45 year old in a trailer, or 20 year old in an apartment..your going to have identical needs based on whats availible to the poor in the US and how we set up our city/suburban/rural lines and landcaping to place these people....I am 26, in school getting my CPA, and renting in a suburban area near the city so I can commute.....so my needs for protection and resilience are going to be the same as the 45 year old trumper in his trailer...which is more akin to evasion, navigation, and bug outs with one off self defene pistol encounters...where as a wealthy home owner will be bugging in within his more rural suburban home, and may need more long range rifles and meshtastic to talk to his buddies. 2. We need communication networks...Tacticon tried this with their 2A discord but since nobdy trusts anyone to not be a Fed, nobody ever met up...they even had chats by state for meetups. Anonimity is a risk because we cant know whos friend and foe...a online place with our real names would help...but I cannot speak to how security would work as doxxing could just as easily occur to this end....I would not go so far as to suggest any one thing, but this is the biggest need right now across the US. 3. Audiobooks....conservatives by and large wont read long amounts of text, unless they are an aspie or ners (like me) I suggest releasing either summaries, or audio books so the information can at least be passivly obsorbed and get better cemented in the ether of our collective knwoledge. 4. The gun community has a lot of overlap with prepping communities, and then there is a minority attached to this like financial types, catastophists, etc....these are your "algorithmic neighbors" and I suggest you make connections with them...do not become engulphed in the psudo pscience or cult aspects or reactiony slop...but get to know them to increase exposure. 5. Americas culture is having an identity crisis...for the longst time we were a "frontier melting pot" with vast expantion and land to settle, and with an identity destroying machine that assimilated all into the "american dream"....well the dream is dead, we ran out of land, and people stopped assimilating...this was then replaced with the new american dream of "consuming content and purchasing products" and this was combined with allowing the left to lead the conversation, and the right followed....it has left everyoen destabilised and insane, and the right especialy just retreated into consumerism and "preparing" for the end of the world that never comes. We need to work on creating a new culture, and redefining what we even beleive in. The christian revival is great...but the 1950s style christianity that Billy Graham created was wrong, and I think we need to revisit the orthodox teachings and start from scatch again, go back to Thomas Aquinus and combine natural law with Gods law. We need to be more resilient and not rely on consumerism for every aspect of our existence...buy a gun and holster, but then learn gunsmithing from there, 3d print upgrades...the like. We need to get out of the 1980s prepper mentality and start forging a new movement, a new right, a new form of governence.

I like that you're asking what we want to see but what I like most about T-Rex labs is that it kind of seems to be what you guys are interested in. Deep dive college level courses on technical things that is all encompassing would be cool but maybe deserves it's own thing for each topic and I wouldn't want to lose the soul of T-Rex labs that seems like the personality of the backroom guys at T-Rex.

Given how things work now, education is probably a more solid path. That is, if you can get enough traffic and are allowed to sell from here.

How about a T-Rex Labs dedicated Discord? Basically a forum where the community at large can toss ideas around, with the understanding that you guys are free to cherry pick anything you see discussed on there. Also might be a good way to find talent.

One thing i would love to see is an encrypted or some other way more secure version of Bluetooth. It's the weak link in any electronic gear i use that isn't hardwired.

Figuring out how to meet the manufacturing contracts that will be unfilled through tariffs is the play for young American manufacturers to wrestle with, now. Prioritize Bitcoin(I'm serious), and facilitating the tools needed in the next 10-15 years of American Made. A nation that arms, feeds, and clothes, and educates itself, is a free nation. This is not hyperbole.

I love the Trex Labs content, but if you were looking at specific products, I think a more affordable solution to Beartooth (an 80% solution for a quarter of the price) or development on a concealable fixed barrel fully developed PDW in 9mm. Currently, there's really just the TP9 and Flux, but I think there is a space for someone to come in with a fully thought-out product and take over that space entirely.

What I think the community needs the most is a place for equipped trained and responsible individuals to communicate and organize with each other add a local and National Community level
