Illinois will still ban whatever they want, and allow whatever they want, along with all the other states that will follow suit. So, congrats. if you dont ever move out of the state you are born in, youre limited to their laws. but hey, at least you wont have to fill out a 4473, right?? big whoop. wake the fuck up. theres bigger issues here than the NFA and ATF.....

Isaac's videos are my favorite part of TrexArms and the number one reason I support them. The information he puts out is some of the most important and most vital for an educated, free, and effective member of this modern society in the US. Great to share with people who aren't fully up to speed, and people well versed in these topics. Extremely well put together and concise on all fronts. Im sure these videos are not cheap to create and may be created with diminishing return financially which makes me even more grateful they are being made.

HOWEVER, it's actually all just kind of pathetic. Anyone with a clue knows that our system is collapsing, and that all these brainy wonky videos aren't really making one bit of meaningful difference. We can have 100,000 smart logical videos explaining how all of this is unconstitutional-'this' and illogical-'that', etc., but it doesn't matter when the machinery of 'the matrix' doesn't give a damn, and the idiocy of the idiocracy doesn't give a damn. People think that making smart explanations and arguments in these videos or in court-cases will change and fix things. It hasn't and it won't. We know where we're at, if we're honest. We know what time it is. But we keep kicking the can of our sacred duty for the sake of comfort and security, while using videos like these to assuage the pain of knowing that everything is insanely tyrannical and broken. I like Isaac, but I fear that in the grander scheme of things it's guys like him who are effectively enablers of not doing what needs to be done,....or even talking openly about what needs to be done (despite having 1st Amendment protections of such speech).

We as Citizens have allowed all the infringements against the 2nd amendment by compliance. We have also allowed the Executive Branch to use the ATF as a political control tool. Sworn Federal Agents have allowed themseleves to be comprimised by politics. Not exactly, this became an issue because Bush 41, escalated the infringement with his "Assault Weapons Import ban. From my perspective, that was not the beginning, but a major incentive for people to legally build firearms apart from the registry! And it was totally political, as President Bush was trying to redefine himself apart from Reagan! It was all hype! This threat was created! It is a fraction of a percentage of overall shootings, and even if successful, not enough to do anything! So there was the motivation for people to legally build guns whose import was banned! At some point, AR15'S take over, but at the time AK parts kits were numerous. Not only home builders but companies got in on the business of assembling legal US firearms from banned parts kits. As more bans were ever threatened demand went up, and the reason is the threat! It is indicative of the sinister nature of gun control that it keeps surfacing! You can't pass a gun control bill but they won't give it up! It is obvious what the ATF rules are: infringement!
The frame and receiver rule was made on the claim that the receiver of an AR15 is not really defined by the law because the firearm is split. So is the FAL, but as it turned out nothing was clarified, it was intended to stop companies from building 80% receivers. 80% was the regulatory definition beyond "not readily convertable. They changed all that and people forget, the rule made silencer parts NFA! They refuse now for people to make their own suppressors because they deny approval. The rule has been a failure, it's not easy nor convenient, but you can get 80% frames anonymously! You can 3d print viable Glock clone frames. It was recently leaked that the DHS is compiling a list of people who purchase 3d printers, probably for Intel on printing guns with them.

The fact that you could go to jail for putting the holster/stock on a Luger for "converting it to an unregistered short-barreled rifle" but you can have a 14" AR-15 with a "brace" on it and that's legally a pistol is insane. The laws are ambiguous intentionally; they want to make as large as a grey area as possible so they can restrict us and control us as much as they can.

Not to mention the fact that every time a " ghost gun" is used in a crime. It's always been a regular manufactured gun with the serial number scratched off It's never some thug in his basement with the polymer 80. It's always.
Just a Glock that someone sandpapered the serial number off of.
