Oh wow that quite cool 😎
Just subscribed, I made a video of York too 😉
Hello last Thursday I was at york train station
Excellent coverage of the tanker being docked, watched from start to finish, 👍👍👏😎
Lovely name for a shore town
Nicely captured, you really get the sense of just how massive these vessels are, and just how deeply dredged the Tees is, that ship comes pretty close to seal sands. Made fascinating viewing. 👏🏻👍🏻🙂
Thanks. I’d been stalking that tanker for days waiting for it to raise anchor.
@@whiterosealtitude well your patience certainly paid off 👍🏻
Brilliant film, I love Saltburn Valley Gardens and you've captured it perfectly!
Thank you. Wont be long till your’e up here making your own adventures.
A sin.
Certain countries must love our destruction of our own energy independence.
Nice footage
A very impressive overall result, interesting to see. 💯👍🙋♂ 👏🙏🏻 You have a new friend🙋♂🤝🏼🔔+++

Great drone footage and amazing aerial view. Thanks for sharing. 👍👍👍 Subbed and Liked. 👍👍👍
beautifull view brother....
great vid mate perfect flying and great location to fly. new sub 👍👍
Wow, you got some great shots there. Did you TOAL from the terminal?
Nope. From the very end of Teesmouth
@@whiterosealtitude I'd love to have a go at recording that.
This is how you make unloader cranes look good 👏👏👍
Tha cant fly tha drone round there lad. Nay Nay Mister Wilkes
Brilliant really nicely put togeather with a great track cut to perfection, ive wanted to video that place for a couple of years, maybe one day.👏👏👍.
I watched this one a few days, i ago even let the wife watch the video, we love York, its amazing how high the water gets, really good to see.😟👍👍👏.
Turned out to be a very expensive video.
This looks bad. Has the water ever came up and flooded the bridge before?
No. Its been higher, but never come over the bridge as I understand
The bridge was once washed away, in the middle ages!
@@Ympopka I blame peasant carbon emissions for that.
I was waiting to see the Kings Arm pub. They have a flood marker on the outside of the building.
Very nice, but what does all this mean? The algorithm got it right, I have an interest in Yorkshire. But what is this building and why is the pond in front of it beige? If someone made me the director of a film, I would shoot Franz Kafka's "The Castle" here.
Read the description
I already did. And so what? @@BastardSquad
@@1258-EckhartSo what? So you now know what the building was used for. The lake is brown, as are most waters after heavy rainfall and flooding
Awwww so sad. My hubby was wondering if they dredge the river as maybe that could help.
Environment Agency, and Council cut backs.; building endless housing estates on natural drainage - water has to go somewhere. All wrong.
😂😂😂 no chance!!!!!
Sad to see.
The building looks dark and depressing
What was this? Hospital?
A head office for the Steel works at redcar
No. it served as Head Office originally for British Steel, before. closing down in 2015 under the shadow of SSI.
@@whiterosealtitude thanks for the replies. Sad to see buildings not used
Visited the Abbey a few times had a few flights over, nicely put togeather well done.👍👍.
Thanks Steve
Stunning!
Nice scenery well done
Incredible footage. I wish I had the courage to fly my drone that close to the Abbey. I’d have to ask permission, which I know would be denied. Just one plea though, as one of the performers at the event that night, all the drones being flown that close were really noisy and disturbing to perform through. (I did clock a drone being flown inside the abbey, so I guess this was you.)
No.. my drone is extremely quiet during flight. I did see a number of other drones in the vicinity, around the East end of the Abbey.
@@whiterosealtitude lol - I think your idea of quiet versus my idea of quiet as an actor on stage are different things. I didn't see a single drone that I couldn't hear on any night. I'm guessing you must have a mini3 then if it's that quiet?
@@NyckelharpaUK Mini 4 Pro…. There were no performers present while I was flying also, stages were empty.
I am very grateful that you didn’t buzz us on stage while I was actually performing. The whole company would have been out in the abbey for the whole three hour event. I’m hyper aware of drones all the time as a flyer myself. So I see every drone in the air, be it the ones overflying public crowds, the ones overflying vulnerable buildings at less than 15 meters. Or the drones flying on the edges of the property. I saw them all. 🤷♀️.
@@whiterosealtitudemini pro4. I am so envious!!! 😍😍😍 I can’t justify upgrading from a mini1. But I wish I could!! ❤️
Beautiful. What a place…
If that steel is pre 1944, it is much sought after.
Lovely shots around the viaduct at Saltburn I've been meaning to fly there, well put together great flight 👏👏👍
Thanks Steve. Really tested the obstacle avoidance at times - in ATTI mode too..
Just needs some roofs, indoor plumbing and windows and doors
Another great one Bob 👍
So nice to meet you today, the boys will talk about the drone for years! Thanks for being so kind to them. The video’s awesome! ❤️
My pleasure. Very polite boys too.. 😀
Thank biden for our economy sending everything overseas
At 1:16, in the background, is the Tees Transporter Bridge, another marvel of British engineering, built when some people were struggling to build a mud hut with a grass roof.
Great footage and soundtrack. So sad to see this great Behemoth of Iron making left to die. As an ex British Steel/ Corus Heavy End employee at Llanwern, Newport I can appreciate the sadness involved in ending the life of such a great British Industry as they demolished our Steel making end back in the early 2000's. I'm still in the Steel industry as a Melter/ Operator on an Arc Furnace but I do miss the noise sound, smell and the sheer size of the Ore Stockyards, Grading Plants, Sinter Plants, Coke Ovens, Blast Furnaces, Bos Plants and the Continuous Casters. Great days never forgotten.
Truely we have lost our way as a nation , when tearing this integrated steel plant down , is the option chosen , in favour of importing inferior steel from overseas ,! Criminal
I’m in TATA Port Talbot and around 2002 a few of us travel up to Redcar to do some work in the motor room, great times and we met some great people there..
if its Eston then there's something very odd going on in those tunnels! I entered them as a kid ie under 15 a couple of time, and would you believe once in the pig fields there used to be a completely open shaft, we would lay on our stomachs slither over till our heads were peaking over the black hole and drop bricks etc it was deep, they took several seconds to hit the bottom. Years later we entered from another access when we had to remove some breeze blocks, and with torches we carried on, glad that i took the advice to wear boots, while a continuous cool draft cut through my tracksuit top. Then after 10-15 mins getting some bearings, we found a slightly inclining dry runnel from which emanated the low unnerving moans of this subterranean wind, and after about 50 metres in, it bent slightly before seeming to plateau into a bigger space. We were shivering with the damp & cool unceasing breeze. Then all three of us heard it, something that instantly froze us still, the unmistakable noise of movement, - a rat ? one of us mouthed at almost a whisper, but we knew it seemed too capacious of a sound for a rat to make. -maybe we should just f*ck off, hissed my other companion, -maybe its a dog trapped like, i ventured. I picked up a stone and lobbed it gently into the space ahead of us, while blowing low the standard whistle we give dogs... instantly, what sounded like a startled scramble, we heard it run away the sound of it quickly receding in the darkness, i looked around to my companions noting one had hastily departed, the other face illumined with uncertainty by my torch, pleas -'away lets get the f*ck out here! i agreed. For many years we've debated and argued about what we heard, the only thing we know is that it was at least the size of small/medium dog, judging by the volume of the noise it made as it scarpered off. How could a dog get inside this place (and survive), it wouldn't be easy unless there are small animal size entrances somewhere. and if it wasn't (which i don't believe it was) then what on earth could it of been? A Mystery indeed.
😊
One wonders how long it would take to rebuild this capacity from scratch, including the skilled work force, in case of a world war?
Beautiful images, looks like an apocalypse scene from blade runner. All that metal, wel done nice shots.
Nice capture mate, love the before and after shots. Nice to meet you yesterday 👍🏻
First the ship yards were closed then most of the coal mines were closed and now the last of the steel works erased. Teeside is finished and those in power don't give a stuff, funding a phoney war in Ukraine is far more important.
started at Fiddlers Ferry Power Station on 3rd December 2023
Phony war. That’s sad attitude towards all the death and destruction because Putin invaded them…again. Want to see cost. Let Putin win and control all that farm land and natural resources. He won’t be lowering prices?
nicely put together
It's difficult to put a "Like" on this video, because of it's subject... The video is worth it, but what it shows is just awful, when you remember the Chinese are scavenging WWII Grave sites for secondhand steel from sunken warships...
