Bundy Hill Off-road | 450 chasing 3wheelers | Trike Circus | Yamaha YFZ450r | Hill Climbs | Trails
Bundy hill hosted Trike Circus again this year. Unable to make it for the main event day but showed up on day 2 to chase around some 3-wheelers. Bunch of hill climbs, trail riding and just ripping around the park.

      I’ve never had an issue with syncing mine. You want to make sure that you connect the lights to your phones Bluetooth before you open the app. The only other thing I can think of would be that maybe you don’t have the correct app?

    Lethal to the state of Montana energy department we actually went back on a demonstration way back up in the Tetons with a transformer because they didn't have any vehicle that could make it in the winter. We drove back there with them to install a transformer farmers bought them to use on farms. They were also heavily used for hunting, especially amphibious. People didn't really do much of recreation if they did it was snowmobiles in the winter Honda hadn't even come out with their three wheel yet. We also sold the coot six wheeler with a steering wheel that would seat 41 driver three occupants in the backseat. It used the very same motor 12 hp to Tecumseh motor for the 1 gallon gas tank. The body was made of 16 gauge steel. It weighed a half a ton guaranteed to carry a halftime of cargo upper 70% grade in 1969. They came out with a PTO you could put on the back. They have a propeller on with wider tires and four wheel steering with rollbars brush, guard different things started coming out for extras, including a canvas snap on that would work off the top of the rollbars forward, facing round lamps and back facing with the option of installing one additional one gallon gas tank on the opposite side in low range was 16 to 1 gear ratio with the military standard jeep tires, which it was shipped with you could drive it up into the back of a full-size pick up med truck and close the tailgate. It was designed specifically for that. Lotta people don't know this. Yes there's no limited slip except for on the tires on the ground. It is solid torque no lockouts it is permanently. That's why it's not too good to be driving it on blacktop. It really choose the tires up. I can overheat axles it was designed to work like the old military jeep did you had to have an emotion to see it? That was the second reason for coming up with four wheel steering

    i have a 2021 and recently installed breather box and the longer hose that runs down by the coolant seems to be spitting gas and oil mix when i ride is that normal?

    • @FilthyKnobsOffRoad
      @FilthyKnobsOffRoad 17 дней назад

      If your 100% sure it’s gas mixed in the oil. Means your getting blow by. Worn piston rings, even a damaged or bad fuel injector will cause this. Blow by also creates extra pressure in the crank case which will then blow oil up out the ventilation tube/breather box. I would have a professional take a look at it just to be sure. Either way it’s cheaper to figure it out now then having to pay for a new engine of it blows up.

    We had coots years ago. They are way cool. What we figured would make them much improved was a double enveloping worm drive. It would allow lots of horse power and the gears would never break. Another thing we looked for was a way to have differential drive which would improve steering and drive ability The COOTII was a hydrostatic ally driven Coot which was way improved by really loud and expensive. Good luck and have fun

      I’m not exactly sure what kind of range I am getting. I just know that it gets better gas mileage than the other machines I ride with,especially the KRX, so I usually have plenty of gas to make it to the gas station. It has bitten me once before though. During Covid I went for a ride and apparently every gas station had shut down at 9pm and I didnt have enough fuel to make it to an open gas station. We ended up sleeping at the gas station until 5am when it finally opened. It was 40degrees that night and we FROZE. I bought a rotopax after that.

    I own a 2023 razor pro R ultimate with shock therapy Springs and it will eat 3 foot whoops at 75 miles an hour like they never even happened it’s so badass in its proper environment, however however, unfortunately, I live in shit ass north east Ohio and the riding here is really not that great mostly tighter wooded trail type stuff occasionally I’ll take a six hour trip out to Michigan to go to the Sand dunes and the trail systems they have up there sometimes I wonder if I would be better off with a YXz living where I live and the terrain that’s available to me then again I feel like the suspension might beat my back up on a YX. I’m pretty spoiled with big horsepower and big suspension. I don’t know everything is a trade-off. It looks like an interesting little machine that would be fun to drive would like to try one out sometime just to see what I think.

    • @FilthyKnobsOffRoad
      @FilthyKnobsOffRoad Месяц назад

      You definitely have the superior machine. The YXZ is great for the price but it’s not even close to the pro R. I think in a lot of ways you would be disappointed as far as the suspension and lack of low gear. The yxz is a lot of fun in the tight trails though. Sometimes it’s more fun to drive something slow fast than it is to drive something fast slow. YXZs have been dropping in price lately. Wouldn’t hurt to have one of each lol.

    Jeremy, please tell me, not everyone on how much you paid for your new Yamaha XYZ1000. I am interested in joining a Search and Rescue Team, SAR TEAM, FOR VARIOUS AGENCIES, like the Forestry, Coast Guard, Fire and Rescue, etcetera…My partner is a nurse so I want us to purchase a Yamaha and be qualified to go out on various SAR groups…

      I bought my first YXZ in October of 2019 for $18,000 out the door. Prices went up for a bit but they have come down pretty decent now. My second YXZ I paid $7,000 for but it had been rolled and I had to repair it but it was super easy to fix - mainly swapping out the cage.

      They would work great. The light is super concentrated. Wouldn’t want to look directly into them. Might see white circles for a few days.

    I have a 2019 and it's bad ass! The big horn tires suck in the sand..I send it hard! But I change oil and transmission fluid regularly.

      I definitely agree that the bighorns suck in sand. I was focused on replacing the tires a while back but I took so long to decide on a set that I like that I ended up getting used to the bighorns in the sand. The sand pulls you all over but after a while it’s predictable how it’s gonna handle. I’d still like to try some different tires. Tires are so expensive that I want to make an informed decision but tire reviews are all over the place. Some people will say a set of tires is amazing and others will say they are the worst tires they’ve ever owned. I’ll make a decision eventually.
