opened up this video in hopes of being hit with nostalgia ended up bein hit with disappointment not for the video, but for this BS reboot I watched the original as a kid on CN and I dont exaggerate when I say I loved it, but completely forgot about it until I noticed this video, and god damn this reboot is embarrassing... Probably I would let my kids watch it, since it is obviously made for kids, but me as an adult I'd rather avoid it, simply because I would most certainly cringe the entire duration of it Guess I'll rewatch the old one

They might somewhat follow the square cubed law which would dictate the bigger they are the more mass they need to move making them slower.

I genuinely wonder what went wrong during the production of ARC-V, like there have been some bad stories and full on arcs in previous series yet none of them come close to the absolute mess that was this entry in the series. Yuya is so damn selfish, a bunch of the side cast and "important" story threads get completely ignored in the end and the animation quality going downhill just made everything so much worse. I'd say the manga version is better, mostly because it has a more compact story and I really love the relationship between the YU bros. The ending is a bit wacky if you shipped Yuya and Yuzu but I thought their relationship sucked in the anime anyhow, so it wasn't a problem for me.

one of the things I mainly didn't like about the reboot was how over the top things were. Like for example the knock off masquerade kid and his weird photoshoot pose before he throws the bakugan, then the actual attacks themselves. Like bro, you could have made like 3 attacks but the time you finished this one, they just do to much, they do unnecessary moves before they attack, a bunch of spins, roars, a super long charge up. Its just too much.

higher quality are you joking the b2 heavy metals are way better than these new bakugan that can split in two and combine and do that spin attack crap feels so sub par.

remember how og bakugan could talk to everyone, adults included? not really plot relevant just a nice piece of worldbuilding, well for this show they messed that bit up too that makes things worse. so now there is an age limit that you need to be below to talk to bakugan. that alone does not sound so bad, but in geogans riseing (which would be season 3), their yard sale masquerade, magnus black, litteraly gets dipped in the whirlpool of youth so that he can talk to his partner now. he was 14 btw. yes they litteraly de-aged one of their mains and the best (worst) part is, it is only biologically, nothing changed about him mentally. one of the wikis state that he is not biologically older than 12 now. and the obvious reason why they did it is so that he could talk to his partner. wtf... anybody remember leonidas, angry, gumpy, battle hungry and spawned from the doom dimension? the partner bakugan for a season 1 based video game who refused to talk to the pc. leonidas opening up to the player was done better than magnus finally getting to talk to nihilus. it was at least in some way earned in the former while in the latter... magical de-ageing whirlpool... magnuss relationship with his parter did not matter.

On your topic of CG, yeah that is just very poor CG. Hell this was made by TMS entertainment, which made the original bakugan seasons. So it seems like either they messed up with the wrong staff, or this project was just not really cared about.

2:51 as someone who watched sevens and go rush, Yuya is still the worst protag by a longshot. (Also I would highly recommend giving Go Rush a chance, it's genuinely the best Yu-Gi-Oh series.)

I also grew up with Yu-Gi-Oh when arc v came out, tbh s2 and after were pretty tbh, but yeah a few months ago master duel took over my life and I failed most my subjects BC I was just playing master duel 5-8 hours a day
