Thoughts on "Marbles" Hosting a hands-on dig workshop where you'd visit one of two secret dig sites? Good idea/bad? Interested?

Anything decent/good/worth anything in here, or just junk/Commons?

I just remember as a kid (like over 50 years ago) calling the clear ones (colored or not) "puries" and winning one playing marbles that I treasured being referred to as a "Kentucky cat's eye" but I don't know what made it such. I just like shiny things!

one thing you might want to watch for in 30s sort of farm dumps would be old beer cans...even the totally brown ones can be soaked in oxalic acid and sometimes come out good - the right cans - even only semi-readable ....can be worth a lot

the barrel jars are pickle jars - barrel full of pickles

There must have been some substantial structure there before unless using rock chunks and blocks were their building materials of choice in the 40's.

Ah I know this dump well! I've dug there at least 20 times and found over 70 milks and counting. That burn layer is tough though!

Hopefully my son Lew and I can meet him some day, That dump doesn't have a lot of 1800's bottles but the ones you are digging and bringing home are nice keepers. Some are even being sold in the antique shops. Lydia Pinkham bottles and cobalt bottles and inkwells are keepers for sure! My son Lew and I are looking forward to watching more of your videos.
