EL AL's 747-200 had technical problems 1 day before the video uploading. The jumbo couldn't depart after cargo loading so the airline decided to send a replacement aircraft. The replacement aircraft succesfully brought the cargo to the scheduled destination on the same day, but the "broken" jumbo is still parking on the concrete of BA. See the video of Gino and band playing in New Orleans April 1979 . There are two similar videos of that tour . The show that I was at is the one where he play "I Just Wanna Stop" and you'll see a group young ladies at the foot of the stage really beautiful Creole ladies enjoying the music . The band had Dave Marotta on bass an accomplished musician , Daryl Steumer on guitar who played with Jean Luc Ponty and Genesis , his brother Joe Vannelli on keyboards , the late Mark Craney on drums who played with Jea Luc Ponty and guitarist Tommy Bolin.if It was a beautiful night in the elegant old city of New Orleans, which is my hometown The best voice ever and wrote all his music himself as he was a classically trained in composition . Hes just in a class all by himself and is married many many years to his wife faithful .

I love the giant smile on Joe Vanelli's face. He appears to be really enjoying the entire performance but, in particular, seems to be really loving the drummer. This song gives me chills. Soooo good!! I miss the days of popular music having this kind of musicianship and songwriting.

It's a shame that such phenomenal musicians as these never got the following they deserved based on their talent alone. Unfortunately it seems in the music business you never achieve riches unless you pander to the lowest common denominator as far as popular fan appeal goes. Witness such tripe as anything by Katy Perry or Beyonce or Britney Spears. I virtually vomit when I think of the money they made and how the Alan Holdsworth family had to beg friends for money to provide for his burial.
