1025R Turbo seized!! Back to stock for now
Просмотров 799Год назад
On 10 Jan, my boys told me the tractor started throwing black smoke. This is after about 70hrs of use with the turbo on my 2016 1025R with 680hrs. On 12 Jan, they told me it also seemed to have lost all power. Today, 13 Jan, I tore into it only to find the turbo all seized up. But, not to fear, hydrosplus will fix me right up! I have this kit: hydrosplus.com/shop/ols/products/hydrosplus-turbo-j...

      Sorry, I did install everything and re-install the drive unit on the tractor. However, the footage was lost. Ultimately, you just tap in the seal and reinstall the unit the same way you take it apart. It was fairly easy.

      The only damage from the tip-over from the seat assembly got a skootch bent. This is just normal wear and tear I guess. Others seem to have experiended the same issues.

    I did mine years ago from the back like yours. Now I have to do it again. Maybe trying it from the front because you don't need to disconnect anything in the back.

    • @mymorristribe
      @mymorristribe Месяц назад

      I've tried it both ways after so many told me that it's easier from the front. I admit it allows you more room to manuever when fixing it, but I find it takes me less time to dissassemble and reassemble if I work from the back.

    I just got this blower for my 2025R. Havnt used it yet but have taken it on and off 3 or 4 times. A couple things to note: For the wing nut pin for the blower there is a hole under the A frame top mount pin on the tractor side for storage On my dealer installed 3 point, all bearings are mounted on the inside of the plate. Opposite of how you have them. And this may be a difference between 10 and 2025’s but I don’t have to remove or hinge the pto cover. I just flip the green portion of the hitch toward the black A frame, place the green bracket on top of the cover, slide it back, angle it around a bit to install the hydro cylinder, then install the long bar through it. Then install the top link

    • @mymorristribe
      @mymorristribe 3 месяца назад

      yeah, I do think this is a difference with the 20xx series. The 1025R has the power, but it's tiny for this beast. Can you install your loader with the drive shaft assembly in place?

    • @mymorristribe
      @mymorristribe 4 месяца назад

      There's zero vibration. I've put my fingers on it while the tractor is idling and it's dead straight. Any weight discrepancy is too minor to notice. Even at full throttle it's completely smooth. I kinda feel I lucked out, but I was expecting to have to balance it. But, it works perfect.

      If you add a spacer to the front AND you have the backhoe sub-frame, then the front/wheels+chains will rub on the subframe where it attaches to the front loader mount. For that reason, I didn't end up running chains up front.
