This is terrific except... why is doubles pickleball so much more popular than singles? If the game is that much 'easier' than tennis, and all the older guys (and gals) all play doubles tennis because of this reality- why in the hell is there virtually no such thing as a singles pickleball game/match anywhere? You NEVER see anyone playing singles anywhere there are pickleball courts. Why is this?

I'm a tennis player, not a pickleballer, but it was the correct call. Agassi hits a ball, Sharapova takes the ball out of the air (no bounce) while stepping over the line that defines the 'kitchen'. You cannot step into the kitchen unless the ball bounces in it first.
