All the older diesels have been scrapped. The only older trucks they have are 3 refurbished CNG Labrie Experts and 3 CNG Leach Front loaders.

As of right now, they only have the two. I suspect these will be it but I’m not certain.

311 has been out of service for more than 3 years now. All replaced by the 520s. The only original trucks they still have are a handful of refurbished Helping Hands and Leach FELs.

That’s very lucky. Pretty fortunate it got sent up this way; never would have expected to end up here though. It’s a shame I never knew this was being produced. We got some pretty interesting trucks in this neck of the woods, even though they’ve pretty much all been filmed. Ever thought about heading up this way?

Mendocino Refuse Trucks Thank you sir! The other two Curbtenders are both splits. I believe Eddie does drive one. He used to drive an old Freightliner Labrie Minimax. Napa actually had two minimax trucks. But they disappeared back in 2017 and I haven’t seen them since. The only footage I had of one was on my old iPod touch which sadly broke. I think I maybe have an old picture of one saved on my computer though. The Xpert is a very unique cabover. Really reminds me of something European. Glad you enjoyed the video!

Thank you good sir! As of now there are only three left in the yard, numbers 312, 313, and 314. All the other old Expert WXLL’s have been either parted out or sent of to be scrapped. I took a trip to the yard today and I didn’t see any of the non CNG Experts. So I’m guessing they finally sent them to the junk yard. Sorry for late reply

WMSacramento 7 Thank you! The Wednesday route is the entire east side of Napa. The best place to start is on Silverado Trail and just work your way out. It’s gets very rural the farther you go out, which means more space in between houses but some beautiful views. I may or may not go out to the Wednesday route tomorrow to see what I can find. Hope you have some luck finding a truck or two!

WMSacramento 7 sorry, I do not contact people I do not know. This actually isn’t his assigned truck. The Labrie Experts are being used as spares I believe, so it may be difficult to find one. But if you would like to film Roberto, he drives a Mini Autocar Xpert Curbtender.

Thank you! Yeah I was sad they didn’t refurbish and convert them. As if now they’re sitting in the back of the yard collecting dust. They still have quite a few of the original Wittkes and Labrie Experts but they’re just sitting there rotting. Napa currently has 3 Curotto Wittke/Labrie FELs; 218, 219, and 221. 221 is used as a commercial recycling truck and 218 is my recycle truck. I’m not quite sure where 219 is being used currently. I’ll have to go out and try to find it one day. I haven’t been over to so ima since 2018. LOL. I had plans to go during spring but those kinda got thrown out the window due to Covid-19. Hopefully I’ll be able to go over there sometime in the upcoming months.
