Autocar Xpert Mini Curbtender ASL

Well what can I say!
Napa began rolling out their new fleet around late 2017-2018, ending in spring of 2019 with the last batch of Labrie Automizers and Wittke FELs making their way into the yard. But before the Automizers and Wittkes came in, the first new trucks were three Mini Wayne Curbtenders. These trucks where going to be used to service some of the areas that are not easily accessible with a regular size truck. I’ve been meaning to film one since Napa got them back in Fall of 2017, but I could never find one on route. I would occasionally see one or two on the highway but never servicing a neighborhood.
I cannot believe it’s taken me 2 and half years to finally film one. But I manage to find one while just driving around. It just so happened that Roberto, who I featured in one of my previous videos, was running this unit. Once again one of the most chill and professional drivers I have ever met.

Nice video! Eddie told me his dad drives one of these although it was a split, so maybe one of those is out there roaming around. Like the look of the mini Powerpak on the Xpert. Great find!

Mendocino Refuse Trucks Thank you sir! The other two Curbtenders are both splits. I believe Eddie does drive one. He used to drive an old Freightliner Labrie Minimax. Napa actually had two minimax trucks. But they disappeared back in 2017 and I haven’t seen them since. The only footage I had of one was on my old iPod touch which sadly broke. I think I maybe have an old picture of one saved on my computer though. The Xpert is a very unique cabover. Really reminds me of something European. Glad you enjoyed the video!

Napas fleet consisted of Autocar WXLL Labrie Expert 2000 helping hands and Autocar WXLL Wittke/Leach Front loaders.
