I always wanted a story line where pete and venom came back together both reformed, Peter being the one that turned venom evil with his emotions, I thought it would always be really wholesome that after time, Peter now knowing what the symbiotes are and how he shaped venom and venom now growing and learning to make an identity for itself to become good could come back together and a force to be reckoned with both understanding and sympathizing with each other. What's the point of having the power of it's gonna "short out" on the MOST DESERVING individuals? "Overloaded" I would tear that comic in half. There could have been an interesting explanation about how the symbiote needs a host in order to live and it's behavior is more akin to animalistic self-preservation, or a virus. Would the stare work on a sentient virus? Idk; would it work on a predatory animal? Maybe it wouldn't and that would be cool as well as give us a glimpse into the unique quirks of both characters

The issue I see is all the characters who have bonded with the symbiote also being referred to as venom. It’s not a name locked to Eddie which is why trying to lock it to Eddie just doesn’t take

I feel as if this wouldn’t have been a problem if they just kept the same relationship they had in the first Venom movie. Venom essentially takes Eddie hostage in the first movie and to have him say “We are Venom” kinda makes it where Venom’s like “I’ve found my host and I’m not letting him leave, so he’s my property.”

I think I agree with almost all of the comments because on one hand it doesn't work on venom because of all of the different users of the symbiote. But then it works on Galactus and brings them down to his knees who has been alive longer than knull. And you know that Galactus has so many more sins than venom. It just doesn't add up
