    For me this was a hard lesson to learn. As humans we have a need to form connections but sometimes these connections don’t serve you, sometimes they can break you or lead you astray from your path. Massive Trigger warning! I had to learn the hard way as I almost lost my life and know have tinnitus and hearing loss dealing with an ex I tried to please. I was madly in love with my ex, did everything for her even quit my job to take her to and from work everyday, I wasn’t perfect I had sm trauma and trust issues from being SA by a family member right before I met her. This caused me to start arguments especially regarding her girl best friend she used to have a crush on. I should have know from the jump but me being a people pleaser decided to overlook it and say yes to dating her. In the end of our relationship we were saying our goodbyes and she admitted she purposely treated me horribly for MONTHS probably even over a year so I would leave her. Mind you I tried to leave her and she blew up and threatened to off herself so I stayed and continued to endure abuse. She also knew what happed to me, seen me self harm bad, and knew I was suicidal. In those months she was purposely abusing me she was also ruining special occasions, and broke some of my paintings. I should have left. But I believed her when she said she was going through a lot and would change. Moral of the story, she ruined my 21 bday by prioritizing that girl, I crashed out and almost kms. I ended up self harming so bad that I have a scar and dent on my forehead and hearing loss. When I told her about it she told me TO CRY TO MY THERAPIST about my hearing loss and constant high pitch ringing in my ears called Tinnitus. 💔 I spent 2 years of my life trying to please this person that didn’t even care to consider my situation. To the contrary, purposely put me down knowing I was raped by my father. People will always let you down, even your friends, and family. This is why it is so important to set boundaries and put your faith in God.

    Great video. I used to be a big people pleaser, so much so that I even got in relationships because I felt bad saying no. Long story short, some people don’t care what you are going through or how their actions affect you, the truth is many humans are selfish and even narcissistic, they will do what they want not regarding other peoples feelings so why should we, why should we people please people who only care to please themselves. We should strive to please God

    I refuse to people please. My family is full of it. I went to a church that showed me to stop people pleasing. I've started to stop people pleasing. Mom and dad don't like it. I told my mom this is who I am you accept it or not. I don't care anymore. But I don't have to have to change who I am. It's rubbed my family the wrong way. But I wanna impact people for Jesus not pleasing others.

      Of course at first or maybe even forever it will "rub" others the wrong way because you are a mirror for them as we see here with Shmuel and him just not willing to accept the message or the fact that Jesus would not "prove" to him that what he thought was correct... I invite you to show up lovingly from a place of understanding and empathy for their belief that your opinion at all impacts them... Thank you so much for sharing Love and Light friend Ash

    Sis... You are so true..i am a loner. At one time i had decided to have an intimate freind. Then what happened is that...In addition to some nasty evil nature in me, i started taking up her vices as i started bonding with her.. I started taking part in her vices when i started supporting her wholeheartedly.. Like hurting others indirectly.....i started to gossip to alert her of dangers while she was stronger than me and was very much capable of dealing with her own issues..i just was dependent on her..i was making my plight more pathetic by seeking appreciation from her...Loving others with our own love is so corrupted.. We can TRULY LOVE someone when we love others using Christ's spirit.

    I know you think you're trying to help people, but you couldn't be more less clear on your point. Just for clarification: You are very unclear on your point. What is a "special relationship"? What if someone with perfectly understandable and reasonable expectations in a relationship doesn't have that relationship show up how they want it to, is that a "special relationship" or is it something else? Truth? Try harder. You're trying to make your failings a normal and regular thing, but it's coming off as confusing and potentially psychotic.

    Hi there! I’m so glad I found this video! From it, I gather that we have two big things in common which is a deep love and learning from Jacob Collier and also the same with Jesus Christ. I became obsessed with Jacob Collier when I first discovered him and have experienced so many of the things you’ve described and more to the max! After he ‘moved’ me to pursue music, I have given it my all but things have turned out very far from what I set out to find when full of the magical motivation I felt from him. Further more, I’ve now been battling Lyme disease since 2022 which has been even more intense than the amazing experiences I’ve gone through from his sharing his gifts.. (which seems impossible) but in the complete opposite direction. I’m not sure how much you may know of Lyme disease but it can be unbelievable rough and I have had it ‘out of this world’ bad. But through this I found my faith and I found Jesus. But now I am in a very difficult place, and I often feel like some of the beliefs of Christianity conflict with the free, pure, open, and full of love way of being that Jacob Collier has shown the world is possible (hopefully for us all, but at least for him). As I type this it does sound like I’m putting him on a pedestal I would like to note. Also, I just want to take a moment to reflect - I believe very much in God and our connectedness.. I just wonder about God watching us all right now. And we all so desperately want to share in the love we’ve felt from Jacob Collier, and for it to be free flowing and feel great and natural and to just enjoy each other as such special human beings. And I just wonder, it’s such a wonder, why can’t we? Why is there so much, so incredibly much, in the way for us? I believe God is in control, and loves us all so dearly.. and again I wonder, why do we have so so many obstacles in the way from feeling Gods love all the time? It’s such a mystery. Anyways, I feel in this moment I have so many things that I want to say and perhaps try to resolve, would you be up for a talk on the phone or something? I have yet to come across someone who has been touched both by the life of Jacob Collier and of Jesus Christ, and the presence of both in my life has left me deeply conflicted and confused for several months. Much love, and have a wonder-full day! - Alistair

I'm going to have to follow up and learn more about this... but yeah - you are right. It is intended that we love each other through all this character building stuff we end up going through - rather than constantly rake each other over the coals. • @czekielmusic
      @czekielmusic 21 день назад

      @@roshinvarghese6879 I think you have a limited mindset with these options you’ve presented. The Islamic take on Jesus (peace be upon him) is one of reverence, because he was a messenger of God and we honor him the same as we do the other prophets before him as well as Muhammed (peace be upon him). My paternal family is very deeply-rooted in Christianity, but the idea of putting a creation of Allah/God on the same pedestal as the One which all things come from has always felt wrong to me. As an adult, I have learned that the term for this is idolatry. I have a great respect and reverence for Jesus, but I cannot fathom the idea that he would condone the narrative that he IS God rather than a path TO God. The Quran says at the end of chapter 5: “And [on judgement day] God will say, “o Jesus, son of Mary! Did you ever ask the people to worship you and your mother as gods besides God?” He will answer “Glory be to You! How could I ever say what I had no right to say? If I had said such a thing, you would have certainly known it. You know what is [hidden] within me, but I do not know what is within You. Indeed, You [alone] are the Knower of all unseen. I never told them anything except what You ordered me to say: ‘worship God - my Lord and your Lord!’ And I was witness over them as long as I remained among them. But when You took me, You were the Witness over them - and You are a Witness over all things. If You punish them, they belong to You after all. But if You forgive them, You are surely the Almighty, All-Wise.” God will declare, “this is the Day when [only] the faithful will benefit from their faithfulness. Theirs are Gardens under which rivers flow, to stay there for ever and ever. God is pleased with them and they are pleased with Him. That is the ultimate triumph.” To God [alone] belongs the kingdom of the heavens and the earth and everything within. And He is the Most Capable of everything.” As someone who resonates deeply with Jesus’s message, it is hard to understand how people have missed this - for I ask you in earnest, from where or whom does Jesus’s (pbuh) power come from? For surely he worked miracles & helped prove to us the capability of Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala when we were doubters, and I can even run with the narrative that he was resurrected although it goes against the Islamic narrative. Who allowed for creation to rise again? Creation, like Jesus (pbuh) and the rest of us has no authority to raise the dead/himself or work miracles without permission from the almighty creator who sets the laws of both man and nature. So to answer your question, I do not believe Jesus to be a liar, lunatic, or Lord but rather a perfect test for humanity to see who actually got the message. Christian scripture, not coming directly from God (like Quran) or even Jesus himself, but rather from his followers who could not even agree amongst themselves, is anecdotal & requires a lot of interpretation, which is ripe for corruption. Only Allah swt knows if Jesus was truly Lord, liar, or lunatic - so I follow the strict monotheistic religion of Abraham and express my gratitude for Jesus’s lessons as well as the other prophets who shared the Truth with humanity. If you are more curious about what I’ve presented here (as it was new information to me when I first learned it as well) I would encourage you to read Quran so you can engage in these sort of conversations with a bit more clarity. I say this because earlier in chapter 5 of Quran, verse 48; it says “We have revealed to you [o Prophet] this Book with the truth, as a *confirmation* of previous Scriptures and a supreme authority on them. So judge between them by what God has revealed, and do not follow their desires over the truth that has come to you. To each of you We have ordained a code of law and a way of life. If God had willed, He would have made you one community, but His Will is to test you with what He has given [each of] you. So compete with another in doing good. To God you will all return, then He will inform you [of the truth] regarding your differences.” I have no problem with you attributing Jesus as God, for I am not the judge & as long as you are helping to benefit humanity I know that He is the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful and is quick to forgive us in our earnest attempts to glorify Him and His creation.

No, we are all One Being, no separation, no "God" there and me/us "humans" over here. In this false premise of "separation", religions and religious dogma thrive, perpetuate, promote and cause the very problem of sin, fear, and death which they claim to want to eradicate!

But the word of God is not bound. 1 Peter 1:6 CSB - You rejoice in this, even though now for a short time, if necessary, you suffer grief in various trials 1 Peter 3:17 CSB - For it is better to suffer for doing good, if that should be God’s will, than for doing evil. 1 Peter 4:19 CSB - So then, let those who suffer according to God’s will entrust themselves to a faithful Creator while doing what is good.

    I'm am, I'm am for there for im am the God of Abraham,the God of lsac,the God of Jacob,the God of Joseph,the God of Moses and many that came before them and after them.come,come l said and hear my voice of my words,but believe me that what you read in fate,that this is me,your living God,the alpha and the omega,the beganing and the end.come,come and hear me,for what I'm about to say,for the reason why Ramah had to die and be restored in my kingdom and rest in my comforting arms.come,come l said, for there for Ramah death will set Thomas free, to do that,what will be call for him to do,when the time comes for him and all the others,to go into the world and preach the gossible to people and to all nation,but unfortunately Thomas will not beable to do that,as long he is in the arms of Ramah and wish to stay close to her side and not to adventure to far out of her sight,for he and the others was hand pick me,to be my son CHOSEN DISCIPLE,with out holding them back,to do that what is call for them to do,to bring forth the scripture and the words of God and the history of all the events,that will take place in their lives and the lives of many others and forge it into a book,to which you are holding right now,to be known as the holy Bible.Now ! you understand why Ramah have to died in flesh,but rise again in spirit and dwell with me in the kingdom of heaven,but be of good cheer,knowing that Thomas and Ramah will be reunited once again.come,come my children's and l to will give rest of understanding,why Simon name was change to Peter,known as the rock,because every group need a solid foundation to stand on,lean on,depend on and Peter without knowing will be that foundation for the rest of them to stand on,but only for a short time,for he himself will trip an fall off his own rock and deny my son three times,but he will become that rock once again,until his last days,but with the burden of his guilt,he will have himself hung, from the roman cross up side down and force himself to be thrown into the pit of fire and brimstone,this will be his choice of punishing himself,for denying my son three times,even though he was forgiving by Jesus himself and me,but Peter couldn't for himself,Now you see the power of forgiveness, it doesn't just apply to one another,but so must learn how to forgive yourself,Peter is a perfect example of that and pain or suffering is not choice for anyone,it comes by hands of others,whose already in pain and suffering and can't see any way out,but there is a way out and that way is though my son the CHRIST.

    We are called to suffer, read about it in the bible.

    Uhhh, suffering is how we unite ourselves to Christ. We have to die to ourselves. Jesus tells us we will have to pick up our cross. Lk 9:23, Mt 10:38, Mt 16:24, Jn 12:24-26, Mk 8:34. Crosses aren't just sufferings, they're also humiliation and isolation. But Christians take hope in this, for by our crosses Jesus assures us of eternal life. (Same passages)

    In four seasons this is the second time that The Chosen steps into "soulish theology" - meaning, that an answer is presented ("It is not her time") that people have derived from their own personal earthly insufficiency (incapacity of healing/resurrecting), and then (some kind of) putting the blame on God ("he has bigger plans, that we don't understand"). Bad things happen. Accepted! (And if Dallas Jenkins was to continue with the idea that someone has to die in every episode - like in Game of Thrones. That would be fine with me.) But Jesus used lesser opportunities to unturn unwanted violence (like healing the ear of the soldier, that Peter had cut off). Why in heaven would he have not healed Rama, as everybody around was believing, that he could do this easily. I think the killing of John the Baptist (which is biblical) is hardship enough, to convey the view that suffering is a necessary part of the journey. But this suffering always comes from mankind (driven by the devil). But surely not from God. And surely there would have been less (theologically) toxic ways to derive Thomas' doubting nature. I really love The Chosen, and how masterfully it explains the impact, that Jesus had on the life of each disciple and follower. But supporting and inducing such toxic theology, without urge - it's just very sad... The other "soulish theology" scene so far is, when little James asks Jesus about healing his limping. Jesus introduces the idea, what a mind-blowing testimony it would be, if a limping disciple would hold on and heal others despite his own tragedy. If this was such a great idea, it would surely have made its way in the gospel. But it didn't. For good reasons. And in addition, again the idea is introduced, that not healing some persons is part of Gods plan, that seems like a mystery. In fact, Jesus healed ALL diseases and infirmities. And the only obstacle mentioned by Jesus in the bible is the unbelief (meaning the active non-believing - not the absence of belief). He never stated in the bible, that it was the will of the father to not heal someone. This is just a theology we derived, in order to explain/excuse our own incapacities in healing and resurrecting. But it blames the wrong one.

      Suffering & hardship is part of so many Bible stories. David, Josef, Daniel, most of the prophets, Job. The early Christian suffered horrendous persecution which God used to turn millions of hearts around. Some suffering can be explained, some not or maybe God reveals reasons later on. Hebrews 11:32 onwards shows this in detail. God is so nuanced and every situation is unique. If you try to force it all into black & white thinking it never fits. The ultimate answer is to seek God when circumstances arise and seek his wisdom and guidance, then follow his leading and his purpose will be established.

      Thank you for sharing this is a very beautiful and in depth interpretation. I think ultimately if we “suffer” we want to believe there is a greater purpose that is not our own doing, and for sure it not be the lack in belief or faith. I so appreciate your perspective and the reflections and different perspective it brought me in reading it 🙏🏻🧡💫Ash

    I cried so hard with this scene, everytime i watch it. Yes rayma dieing is heartbreaking but its thomas' reaction and what he says, that is what broke me. I lost my fiance 17 years ago and i said and did what thomas did and i had resentment towards god for a long time. It wasnt until i got with my husband, that really showed me gods love and helped me understand. So with this episode i get it, doesnt mean i have to like it but i get it.
