Everything you said is good. But i dont think Simon lost his faith when Eden had miscarriage. He was angry, furious at his Lord, at his friend but he had more faith. His faith was never lost. He never turned back at his Lord. Infact he said to John, that he don't believe, HE KNEW Jesus is the first and last. And he was so sure abt Jesus talking care or People's hunger when everyone doubted. He says God made a mistake by choosing him. And most importantly he had the faith to walk on water. So I don't think his faith shaded away when he got to know abt Eden. He was just angry at Jesus. If there is anyone who's so much filled with faith in the NT is Peter.
