You appear to have missed 2 very important things hidden within those kennels. Either that or you did find them but didn't show them.

Thanks for uploading this! I was in these tunnels during the 1980s & there was access to a large gun emplacement with iron footings still in situ, high up on the cliffside. It was at least 4x5m floorspace, was open to the sea on one side only, and had a central pillar supporting the roof. Would have been above and to right (or East) of the viewpoint you made around the 8.30 mark. I took a sleeping bag & a stove & slept there several times, just for kicks. Happy days 🥹

Such a shame to see that art deco cinema in such a state . So sad. The projector on the left (you said it was older) would be a slide projector - probably for old glass slides.

they keep the entrance away from public eye preferred because of break ins but they do tours!

the most interesting thing in a cinema is the projector room but you didn't give importance to this detail you didn't show the projectors and all the details of that place.

Just had a fail at this place yesterday morning, managed to get past the big fence but the building was mega sealed, the door you came out of is also sheeted up sadly

That wasn't blood lads. Blood dries and congeals very very quickly - it does not stay wet. That was rusty water from corroded pipes. Iron and manganese, probably. It was cordoned off because the pipes are overhead and its dangerous. That is why its wet, because there is a constant drip. At 08:25 you can briefly see similar residue where there was previously standing water with the same mineral deposit, but it has dried up.

Ive been researching Granddad since I was 12ish I'm now age 57, I have a letter addressed to him thats dated 1920, the address is to the Barracks S of G Shoeburyness, hed been in the army RGA before 1913 and was demobbed 1921, a very interesting find and now able to add more to his history of time at Shoeburyness. cheers fella keep up the work 👍
