If you don't critique something it won't improve. If they had done a decent or good job I wouldn't say anything but they completely bombed and ruined an over decade long franchise for no good reason. I really wanted the best for the games and for the fans.

I agree DBZ Fighters is a very cool game and it was made by a different developer we need more of that to give some life and a different perspective to some of our favourite anime and games.

Thank you, this has been my main concern since the games announcement. Also people forget that spike chunsoft's recent releases were one punch man a hero nobody knows and jump force, this game is feeling overhyped by fans

@@yuyazumi6467 I'm happy you enjoyed the video! I heard the One Punch game was horrible. I could be wrong but most likely the hype for the game will die in 2 - 8 weeks. Of course people will always play Anime games but people will be likely looking for their next fix. This game may be different because of the passing of Akira. I looked into the devs of this game and what games they made the other day and I didn't play most of those games so I can't say but I like to hear what others think so I can learn.

@DontLoseToFear well I feel the problems that might happen for this game is that the fandom is overhyping this game up alot, people forget that spikes last dbz game was ultimate tenkaichi on ps3 which was poorly received, yet they advertised the first 3 tenkaichi games on ps2 and wii to get people interested. Ofc another big problem is gonna be this game's online connection which is the most skeptical thing about this game

The first thing I said about connections just before it came out was that they made a big mistake taking chakra shurikens out of the game. Taking tilt out of the game was an even bigger mistake. That was about 10 months ago I said that and made a video on it. It's interesting to hear you say that now since another person in the comment section said that Connections is the best storm game because there are 2 jutsu so you have twice the depth. I found that statement to be crazy since all they did was remove tilt and put it in the jtusu spot and made options way more spammable leading to the jutsu spam that we had with armor on release date. Jutsu is still the mainly only viable option for entry you're just not guaranteed it now. The entire thing is a mess and it is all connected together effecting each other.

I've supported Storm games for about a decade out of the past 13 years and I've gotten to the point where I refuse to play any game that doesn't have flawless online. I'm only playing FF14, Overwatch or retro games that are offline right now. I appreciate you bringing this up with your Bandai namco rep and I know you will give it your best shot since in my eyes all their games are dead with out it. I don't understand how My Hero Ultra Rumble can be played with flawless online. I played it one time with Sirasa6 and E where we were all from different parts of the world and we had no issues online. That one time I played Overwatch with you it was rubber banding so it's possible that the net code or online stability is even better in my hero ultra rumble. I think with this major change the community would be a lot less toxic, a lot more professional and a lot more skill based. As it is now I can't take any of the storm games seriously online aside from maybe storm 2. Thank you for trying to fix the biggest problem in Storm games online. I hope you get traction and I hope we finally fix the number one thing holding us back.

Just because they implemented leaver penalties doesn't mean the fixed the leaver / disconnections / rage quite problem in Storm games. The game now kicks you out of the match and gives you a disconnection penalty and your buttons can be changed or deleted in any game randomly. Many people have reported not being able to use jutsu or chakra at all for any action. Giving the fans what they want is not really the best way to balance their games. Ashura jutsu has been broken since day 1 and they still haven't fixed it 2 patches later. They tend to fix one thing then break 1 or 2 things at the same time. The game was most competitive between release date and end of patch 1 now the game is super basic and boring. There are a lot less people playing now too. If the game was fixed and great wouldn't people come running back to the game? You can't even play online because the game has more lag than it has ever had before.

@@DontLoseToFear I litterally play it every night on ps5 im anbu general I don’t have any lag, biggest problem in the game is the player base. Weirdos who just run around with chakra gods shooting nuclear bombs and jumping up and down throwing ninja slips. They’ve given us the ingredients for a great fighting game but people just spam instead. Having 2 jutsu instead of 1 already makes it twice as deep as any previous storm game and they’ve been great about communication, if they give yall what you want you complain, if they don’t you complain even more, maybe consider a game needs new people coming into the game if you want them to spend money making it better, and yall would do well as influencers to promote the game if you want people to play it instead of making a video called “storm connections sucks” and then just complaining about a messy launch and why they didn’t have the features they have now in storm 4.

@@shaneawesome456 The game had more depth with a jutsu and or an enhanced jutsu while being able to pick your jutsu (lots of added strategy and depth there) with a tilt. This made it so you couldn't just spam jutsu and do only jutsu entries which most people do. Most people who play this game at a competitive level use support jutsu or main jutsu and then go from there. In past games you could break things up with a tilt that wasn't guaranteed in most casses and that didn't have the same priority level as a jutsu. Chakra shuriken was good for mix ups as well now you have less mix ups and options in the game. The games depth is way lower than any other storm game ever made.

@@shaneawesome456 You're lucky that your input doesn't lag because they're complaints from the community which is 90% say that p2p dont connect or make true fights because inputs are being consumed or subs aren't when ppl are legitimately pressing that button on that exact frame and time. We need either rollback or dedicated servers. Comp players are complaining of lack def options. And the game isn't bad but it's not good enough to match gens rev s4 s3 or even s2. Please research rollback netcode and games like guilty gear strive and more to see true fights.

Yep its way too short in connections.they should bring back s4 timer and even add some seconds..like 5 more BUTTT MAKE it usable once per match...thats a better balance

Whats scary is i think sparking zero is gonna suffer this same fate , Gogeta , Vegito , Jiren , Goku , Vegeta , Broly. I bet these are the only characters online we will see

@@BrowneVisuals itself is call passion about something you love man. We all enjoy storm but dont like connections simple if connections was a good wouldn't see 90% of the community share similar sentiment either accept or avoid these videos.

@@Criticmasterz It came up on my feed. I get the passion but honestly CC2 have done a good job with this game, they take community feedback regularly, update the game and are doing their best. Sometimes it's better to be positive. These sort of videos just hurt the game and don't help it.

@BrowneVisuals Fair, but there's fair criticism with this game, and constructive criticism helps more than positive because it can turn toxic and someone can do no wrong. One is attached to a new game, and quote connections servers are abysmal. Inputs don't match up online at launch, although improved lacked any features from other storms. Gens and rev had more online features at launch than connections. Yes, connections have 2nd jutsu, and rebound is cool. Imo removing tilts, and Chakra kunais strip the identity away. And again the games updates are cool but doesn't resolve the declining player count so there's bigger things that needs to addressed.

I agree with everything you said and I don't have a good answer to why people accept and are okay with half baked games that are unfinished and bad on release.

They have problems balancing their games for sure. Instant awakening in Storm 3 was really fun but unbalanced so in Revolution they made it cap off your chakra so you could only do it about 4 or 5 times instead of forever flicking back in forth like in S3.

CC2 lacks proper vision.

I found instant awakenings so good. It created options for weaker characters. People complained too much about it. Continual use of instant awakenings had drawbacks unlock spamming jutsus and abusing tricks to cut cooldown on supports in Connections.

Yeah BHS and SS were really popular back in the day and would expose everyone. She exposed more people than anyone in history but there were other ex posers after that a few that mained Sasori and puppets. After that there was the Storm 4 Goat and I'm sure I'm missing some but there is a very long history of people harassing others in the community who didn't deal in good faith or were seeking out negative attention. Towards the end of Storm 3 life cycle and in revolution I got along with some of those people but the impact they had overall was damning to ability of the community to flourish and be positive. It pushed a lot of people away and created a lot of negativity.

@@DontLoseToFear yep! im pretty sure it was KSH and a few others from ELITE and HATE clans, most of these guys were popular like you said and they either had clans or students who all acted the same as the players before them and so it just spread through the community. those days were super toxic, i dont see much of the exposing stuff going on though mainly because im not apart of the community anymore but its a shame that its still going on since most of these people are now grown with 20+ years of age. even though most of these players are gone and probably dont play anymore to my knowledge, the legacy they left with the community wasnt a good one like you said.

I agree that you should be able to leave the game in the ready up screen. Storm assist has been greatly reduced from all past games if you reduce it more than it won't be in the game. I agree every character should be able to cancel their jutsu. The first hit priority of all characters has always been a problem in the storm games. The game crashes a lot sadly.

My Hero Ultra Rumble seems to be managed well it has flawless online, constant updates and is fun to play. The only issue is it's a gotcha game and over time has become pay to play in terms of power creep. Most of the other anime games I played were train wrecks like Demon Slayer having the worst online out of any anime game some very good and also very questionable mechanics and Jujitsu Kaisen tanked faster than I could blink an eye. I wish all anime games were great and properly supported but I'm sure some take precedent or priority over others. The common factor seems to be Bandai Namco to me since CC2 doesn't manage or create all those games. Bandai completely tanked their Gundam Overwatch knock off shooter game and turned it into a micro transaction farm before it shut down. Offline the Storm games are great no one has supported them more than me in the past 13 years but I can't support anyone playing them online ever again if they don't fix the stability online. I hope the DBZ games will be good but I would be surprised if they got that right.

Besides the cheaters and hackers that flood my hero Rumble, it is a solid game, but I feel like that’s a hard thing to fumble due to it being a live service battle royale. Especially since Bandai is aiming for all their games to be live service now, hence why we never got a Xenoverse 3 or Shinobi Strikers 2, but they get flooded with DLC, and now Jujustu Kaisen and Connections are live service games. Bandai has no problem getting a quick buck and promoting anything that will help them with their greediness, and the formula my hero Rumble has is exactly what Bandai is all for. Old Storm, Demon Slayer (offline), and My Hero Rumble are a few games that got lucky where Bandai threw the developers scraps and they were able to make something out of it, but the biggest problem is really online and support. Some of these games are really solid, like Demon Slayer, which is a beautiful game despite me not liking the tic-tac-toe Mickey Mouse easy gameplay it has. It is a solid game, but like you said, the online is god awful, which completely kills the game, and that’s what I’m scared of with Sparking Zero. These games can look beautiful and play well, but the online experience completely tanks the game, and they do nothing about it because they don’t listen to the community.

@@DontLoseToFear bandai do always do right for DBZ games since it makes thèm the most cash. Ultra rumble defo one of their ok games but it needs crossplay to grow faster and also do something about the hackers on PC

@@biblefn if we go by Jump forces netcode...im kinda optimistic...in as much that game had itd fair share of bs..the netcode was solid...i didnt lag and delay was almost non existent..i just hope the lobby system is better thsn jump force with a spectator mode at least

If they make a new game from the ground up I think there would be immense hope for that game. Most of the issues we have is they keep making a "new game" over the old storm games. I agree with you never say never. The game was definitely rushed sadly. I enjoyed the game before the patches once I learned how to play it and I enjoyed it after the first patch. This last patch makes it so your button configuration gets changed at the start up of a game and there is more lag than ever even though they claimed they fixed online stability when it's clear they made it worse. There are some good quality of life changes I agree with that. I'm hoping the game gets better in the next patch but honestly too much damage is done for me to think positively of this game.

I respect your opinion. This game is suffering from the storm curse: 1 step forward and 2 steps backward. It’s like one good thing comes with a patch, and two bad things also come with it. The balance patches for these characters are good, but they just make another character on the roster broken, and it’s becoming a messy cycle. For example, they nerfed Madara’s support, and now it takes almost 20 seconds to come back, but a support like Hidan's, which is way stronger, only comes back in like 6 seconds. This is what I mean by them halfway listening to our feedback; they’re not fully paying attention to the game. If they had play testers who would go online and experience what we experience every day, they would see themselves, or better yet, I wish they would just reach out into the community and talk to pros because there are a lot of passionate pros out here who would make Google documents for CC2 telling them what’s wrong with this game in a non-bias manner, and they’re not even hard to find since there’s been plenty of popular tournaments for this game like globku’s and dreamcon, and it’s the same pros winning them. If Bandai can reach out to Globku and Afro to do a promotional video on the Sage of Six Paths DLC, they can easily reach out to more people in the community. I like how you also mentioned the button glitch and lag. That glitch is dumb, and it’s sad that it’s never going to be fixed until September, which is another problem with the game (lack of updates). This game is so laggy, it’s hard to even explain it to people who don’t understand lag advantage. I will say the netcode is better on this game, but the lag still ruins the gameplay. What’s funny is, older storm games like Storm 2 feel so much better, and I feel almost no lag, and people will argue, saying it’s because there’s no one on the servers playing that game, but coming from someone who is a PC connections player, where my player base is only about 190-200 people, I will agree that PC connections does feel better than console, like people say, but it is still nowhere close to the older storm games when it comes to lag. I’m genuinely confused about how CC2 goes backwards with all these things. As horrible as these things are, it’s still a storm at the end of the day, which makes it bearable for me. There’s no reason for me to play the old Storm games because they're the same old, and I’m tired of playing the same play styles and characters in games like Storm 4. At least for this game, the roster is viable, making every character and team feel brand new; there’s updates and new characters coming not as fast as I want them to be, but at least we’re getting them; there’s many play styles and a new meta; even though it might not be fun at times, it’s competitively challenging, which I can find thrilling in that; and it has the newest ranked mode/leaderboard. The best thing to do when you get sick of this game is take long breaks, maybe a week or two, and play custom matches with friends or great sportsmanship showing players you meet in ranked. Most of my recent time in this game has been in custom matches, and I’ve been enjoying myself lately.

That's a good question. I think many people like me but the one's that don't don't like people who tell the truth or talk about how the community can improve.

Yes this is happening to most of us I was playing with some friends a few days ago and 2 times in 2 hours the controls got changed and no one could use jutsu or chakra. No fix for it so far but they should be changing it in the next patch maybe

This is one of the reasons why I stopped playing the game and uninstalled it.

@@deathgun5925 If some one speaks to the truth of something or if something consistently is really bad people should speak up about it to create awareness and hopefully change the course of things since it's not headed in a positive direction. I think wanting to have the best anime product and experience is important and Every Storm game has had serious pit falls and short comings that the company doesn't learn from. I think criticizing their work is one thing or how they do things but people take it too far and attack the person trying to make a change that way when that is rational and pointless. You will almost always never get your way and they people you are attacking my lash out back at you. I think everyone should try their best to stay away from personal attacks when possible but sadly we live in a world that has less standards and values as well as less honour and character. There are some universal things like power corrupts and so on and all people are susceptible to that. The community does act like 5 year olds and it is only getting worse.
