I definitely think the second jutsus were a nice change to the franchise as it gets boring to use one jutsu over and over.
The character levels and poses are really cool too but having no tilts is a hole in my heart as a ninja storm fan
The second jutsu were a great addition! Some characters like Hebi Sasuke got 4 - 6 new jutu whichi is insane. Some characters could use another jutsu like Itachi could have his crows as an enhanced jutsu that would be great. The tilts are greatly missed that's for sure but I didn't miss the chakra shuriken as much as I thought I would.
@@DontLoseToFear my problem with the “second jutsu” is that it’s like taking 1 step forward while taking 2 steps back with removing the tilt feature and chakra shuriken feature. I think to balance the chakra shuriken perhaps they could have made it consume a lot more chakra
@@dayleywhaley2420 Chakra shuriken was good for mix ups and tilts were amazing. They could have kept everything and balanced it but looks like they didn't have enough time so we got a rush job and this is what came of it. Still it's better than people think but it's always 1 step forward and 2 steps back with the developers of storm games.

They really need to punish leavers or else this game will surely die
Leavers are a big problem in Storm 4 and Connections but it is a symptom of a much larger more complex issue.
No more updates for storm 4 are coming game is too old
Storm connections is too easy point blank period half the time you see people mindlessly chakra dashing you on top of the fact that they rely on guard breaks or jutsu’s that need to be fixed
I truly believe ranked modes in general hurt anime arena fighters -- any game can be played at a high level but that does not make it competitive, and with anime fighters in particular I feel the ranked systems encourage toxicity, leaving, and MMR boosting since they don't punish players for such behavior and has pretty much always been a problem within the Storm series, which is why I don't see how anyone could ever take these games seriously in any regard
I miss the Ring Out system, they just removed it for the first time in history and did not even mention it in the patch notes..Its only aviable in custom matches.
I have a few friends who love the ring out system. I'm not happy about them not including it in the patch notes since patch notes are clearly selective in what they tell you and don't tell you. A lot of things have been ghost patched, nerfed or changed. I think taking it out of competitive is the right choice for fair competitive play but it surely makes the game less exciting and less punishing.
I'd be down for it to stay in the game if it did less damage and it took you to another map. They would have to work out the logistics more

@@meirhasdai747 I like the switch tech in storm 4 it makes the game fun but people abused it so they nerfed it in connections sadly.
Good video with good points again. I can tell by the gameplay, it’s not you. Your hands are simply used to playing at a higher pace than that. So your movement and attacks be a step ahead than what you intended. I did the same thing when I went back to storm 4 for a couple days. Skill still there technically. Timing is just off with the different lag
Thank you for your feedback I appreciate you! Yeah my hands are not responding to what my mind is trying to accomplish. The muscle memory is just not there yet I'd have to play a lot more and consistently but I have to finish the connections stuff first since that's where I play most right now. I hear you on the skill being there but it's not as reliable. I'm surprised at the things I can do but at the same time I know I can do more but can't right now. The game is fun though!
I just want them to add single battles to casual matches like in storm 4…. tired of getting on for a couple chill matches in casual and every match is nothing but broken tryhard teams like im playing ranked I’ve retired from rank matches haven’t played em since storm 3… literally everyone is so reliant on broken support team to win them the match and that sucks… not saying you fear just saying in general

It's only because of some characters ability to jail. They took that away for most of the characters in connections to make the game more balanced.
